If you dont like it dont watch it, dumbass! I think its great. They are hilarious.... Shut your fucking stupid blonde might seem dumb in the show but she is becoming more famous as you are running your stupid mouth!
I love Two Broke Girls, and I have seen a majority of their episodes. It's one of my favorite tv shows on CBS, and it's funny and kind of reminds me of Seinfeld. And, I don't mind the dirty jokes Max tells, because just about everything Max says makes me laugh. I love all the characters on Two Broke Girls, especially Caroline and Max, who are still trying to make enough money for their cupcake business.
I can't wait til the next episode on Monday, and BRING ON SEASON 3!!!!
as of this episode, i am becoming annoyed with the blonds, whats her names, voice. its so monotone and squeeky it is coming to the point of me turning off the tv whenever she talks for more than 20 secs. but kat and the rest of the crew is great, especially Jennifer Coolidge, as always.
bad episode. Andy Dick is a poor actor. You must be scrapping the bottom of the barrel to get a dumb episode. I know you are losing rating. Andy must be a relative who needs a job.
Horrible acting!!!! Where did these two come from? Can't stand to listen to them and their dull acting skills........ Get rid of them and the show may have a chance.
I wanted to like this show. I started recording it from episode 1. I watched the first two or three, hoping it would get better. Now, I have 33 of them recorded (I have a large storage pool in my Windows Media Center system... I don't use a cable-company DVR). I haven't watched it since the first few episodes, and I just tried to watch some of the newer ones, hoping it had improved.
I cannot believe this show is still on the air, when several shows that were MUCH better got canceled since last season.
In the most recent episode, I got two or three chuckles, and one actual laugh. There isn't much to laugh at in this show. I like sexual/racial/stupid/slapstick/bathroom humor... but the actresses in this show just don't know how to deliver a funny line. The blonde is annoying, and the brunette is neither a "straight man" nor a comic. The only funny person on the show is the black guy who works in the diner. If he had his own show, I might watch it. He actually knows how to deliver a line.
Unfortunately, the writing in this show isn't any better than the "acting". I cannot imagine how this show made it for a 2nd season... except for the fact that the contender is "Guys With Kids", which is another non-funny comedy, that is all too predictable.
Awful. That's the only word I can use to describe "2 Broke Girls".
Caroline and Max are two struggling waitresses who want to start their own cupcake business and get out of the financial albatross that is poverty. This is the modern take on the "Gilligan's Island" premise of the castaways getting back to civilization; however, these two women are reflective of so many people wanting to become self-made entrepreneurs and leave the rat race that is known as the labor market.
This is a brilliant and, yet somehow, still underappreciated series that should be paired with "The Big Bang Theory" or, at least, aired on CBS the same night, as both shows have the production blessings of Warner Brothers. I have already rented the first season's episodes on DVD at the local library and will now sorely miss this series when it finally decides to quit.
I did not watch in the beginning. I am so sorry!!! This is hilarious! I PVR the episodes and watch them with my daughter-in-law. We love watching this show and hope it continues. They have a fantastic cast and the new boyfriend is adorable.
I hope this show goes on for a long time - the worlds needs more laughter and this show provides it. Jennifer Coolidge has a fantastic character - she makes me laugh as soon as she comes onto the scene. I love them all!!
I have decided I cannot to wait until they go into reruns and just bought the first season!!! :)
The poor girls is suppose to be living in NYC but she speaks 'americana' English with a Southern California ACCENT. She should have a Bronx or Brooklin or Queens accent - a bit more Cyndi Lauper than 90210!
The POSH girl, has same accent, and has a PWT accent - ANYONE with Money or Breeding would instantly 'know' she is a fake/fraud/ and a wannabe.. of next to NIL.
Story lines OK-ish, but accents are NOT ALL southern California! The USA has a diversity of Accents
It is the same as UK, everyone outside has impression there is ONE British Accent when there are over 2 dozen major and hundreds of minor accents - something most yanks would not understand.
This program was made with accents that are far far too GENERIC and BLAND.
if you want a street girl in NYC - there are plenty in the Bronx or Harlem etc!
I didnt know there would be life after FRIENDS, until 2Broke Girls. I love it! It's so close to real.
C'mon, we may not have a cupcake business may not be all diner girls like Caroline and Max, but pretty sure at some point, or at some many points, we're like them -- struggling workers, in whatever job we have -- struggling business owners,or struggling but passionate business starter-ups --
Give and take a few or several shades, we have a Max and a Caroline profile in us, on a different extent somehow...
That's why I like 2Broke Girls so much. It gives me hope and to most viewers, I believe. It also shows a tapestry of real life in a perky, happy and light mode. Moving motion arts imitates life, definitely 2Broke Girls comes in closest to our real (sitcom-ish drama) called life, as we know it...
And as I entitled my review "Close to life' , I'd like to commend you guys for putting on the love angle for Caroline. The choice for Candy Andy's character is just perfect. He provides the heartwarming side, but not overpowering in profile, so as not to go astray from the thesis of 2Broke right, just fine! Besides you gotta put a love angle there, that's close to real life. We wouldn't want so much problems as we watch TV shows, since in real life, we've too much of that already. We want circumstances and situations that will 'warm' our heart. I got that tingling heartwarming feeling watching it. Go get Andy back . Just right for Caroline's maybe soon , Max could also be in for something like that, something that would just be appropriate on how her character is built.
Overall, I love 2Broke Girls. I don't feel 'broke' watching it. I feel sooo 'hopeful in life' watching it...
Ps. And yes, i'm a team Caroline. I just love her!
It manages to be vulgar and dirty without being funny. Every week they manage to sneak in a not so subtle reference to a kinky sex act, except for the weeks they don't bother and just say "vagina" or "penis".
I have finally found another fantastic sitcom since some of my old fav's have been retired! This show is the right amount of dirty, smart, comedy, culture and real life. I laugh at every episode, usually through most of it - and I mean really laugh, not just a smile or giggle - hard core laughter! The characters all work well together and the story lines are so normal and real but with that comedic edge.
Although I didn't mention all the other characters I love them all - they each bring something to the show that makes it work. Such a variety of great actors/actresses yet not overbearing or too many to follow. I love laughing along every week and cannot wait to own the series!!
So glad this amazing show is back. I love a show that makes me laugh out loud and i do every episode with 2 Broke Girls and its just the right amount of dirty.
Since Pretty Little Liars had its season finale, I got HOOKED on his show. This is a REAL SITCOM. Nowadays, 90% of sitcoms are unoriginal, silly, and NOT FUNNY! (expect for Good Luck Charlie). 2 Broke Girl$ is constantly hilarious. There are laughs in EVERY episode. Max is incredibly funny and she is always burning people. Caroline always delivers good, laugh out loud lines. I love the usage of bad words, it just makes it even better. I'm so glad it got renewed for a second season, oh, and, by the way, FUCK ALL OF YOU HATERSSS!!! t(-_-t)
This show is my favorite sitcom of all time. Period.
When I first saw the commercials to this show weeks or days before it premiered, I was so looking forward to it because it looked hilarious & great, & also because I have a huge crush on Kat Dennings.
The day it was supposed to air, I had about 30 minutes before it premiered, so I sat down & decided to just kill those next 30 minutes to watch an episode, also my first episode, of The big Bang Theory (a new episode BTW), a show I also became a huge fan of that very same night for the first time. After cracking up to The Big Bang Theory & calling myself a fan of it, I finally watched 2 Broke Girls, & dear Neptune out in the sea, I almost lost all of my breathe from the very first episode. Greatest sitcom I have ever seen, & one of my all-time favorite shows.
The show is about 2 girls, who are broke (derp); one (Caroline) who was once rich, & the other (Max) who wishes she was rich. Sounds basic, but the script & premise stretches further than that, & offers some of the greatest perverted comedies ever created, boasting with hilarious quotes & punchlines, wonderful characters that are lovable & realistic & even full of depth, solid stories on all of their episodes, filled with accurately comical stereotypes, & magnificent background characters.
Each actor in this show is on-spot with their roles, & never fail to deliver the performances they have to. The jokes are always hit, & rarely ever miss. The most hilarious episode I have to seen to date has to be the episode where Max & Caroline head to Caroline's old closet.
Max: "WHAT?! I know you said you were rich, but damn, you are RICH! Is this Narnia?!"
Caroline: "Calm down, it's just a closet."
Max: "If you go back there, you are going to need a mouth guard, & a rape guard."
Max: "No, my tub! Why does everything that gives me pleasure have to end up behind bars?!"
So all in all, this is one hell of a good sitcom, that will have you (as long as you don't take anything this show says or does too seriously) cracking up from start to finish. Not once has any episode of this show hasn't made me laugh even once. My favorite sitcom of all time, & I am so looking forward to the next season!
Beth Behrs is fun to look at an will occasionally deliver a line that is both funny and thought provoking. Kat Dennings delivers great comedic timing, but is kind of a one note performer.Jennifer Coolidge is perfectly hilarious as always, and the rest of the supporting cast does an admirable job of setting up the comedy....but....having said all that, as good as the individual performances may be, the show simply does not work, at least not for me. My main beef with the show is that the writers go for the cheap laugh too often. Every time I thinka real possibility for some real comedy comes up, they automatically go for the sex or human waste joke. C'mon guys. you can do betteer than that.
It's very flat, the jokes are wordplays spoken with theatrical exaggeration. The characters are not special, and yes, there is something annoying about each and every one of them. But still there is something comfortable about watching it. It's entertaining in some simple way, the episodes are short and eventful, and it's...simple. So, yes. I like it.
Reliant on stereotyping and honestly after watching a few episodes ended up making me dislike one of the main characters. Two girls making their way through the urban bind. Jokes usually fall flat but there are rare chuckles.
