We got an instant classic in tennis today. Yeah, you had breakout star Missy Franklin winning again, but as a tennis fan I really enjoyed this. Roger Federer beat longtime foe Juan Martin del Potro in a memorable, long battle. Federer has reaffirmed his status as the game's best and hopefully he wins gold again on Sunday.
The US men losing in beach volleyball was a little surprising. Italy dispensed them too easily.moreless
