I really enjoyed watching this episode, because it didn't have just one story line to follow. First, let me just say that I really enjoy watching Penhall period. And second, I knew that he reminded me of someone, but I had no idea that he is Dom DeLuise's son, which means that acting is in his blood. OK, now on to the show. I love the McQuaid brothers: they are cool, good looking, and so much fun to watch. I don't know who thought them up or how they decided who got to play those parts, but I'm glad they did.moreless
  • Edgy stuff!

    "Superb"
The previous reviews summed up this episode really well so I don't have too much to add, except that this episode is extremely well-acted, has a great cast of extras AND is pretty edgy. Consider: this episode basically starts when Hanson and Penhall (two 20-something police officers, lest we forget) show up to a schoolyard challenge and beat the crap out of two teenage students! (Is this legal??)The beatings continue throughout the episode and even Ioki gets overly physical with a perp (he slams him against a diner counter..! Could a "teen" show get away with that these P.C. days??)
Anyway, this episode has a multi-layered plot and has substantial depth. One of my favourites!moreless
  • This episode was excellently handled filmed and portryed by all involved with 21 jump street

This episode is one of my favourites, not only becasue of how Diane Nelson is saved from her fathers abuse by the jump street team but the way johnny depp portrays hanson's caring nature just really hits home, having been in an abusive situation myself i could relate to the episode also and found hanson's role in this episode somewhat soothing, i think the animosities between fuller and hanson dissapear completely by the end of this episode which is expected under the circumstances of how the story panned out, again this is a real life issue handled brilliantly by 21 Jump Streetmoreless
  • One of the best episodes ever!

This episode is one of the best episodes I have ever seen! Hanson and Penhall go undercover as the Mcquaid brothers and Hanson ends up getting into more trouble than expected when a fellow classmate(Sherilynn Fenn) asks him to kill her father! Hanson not knowing what to do,doesnt tell anyone that she asked him to do this until he finds out that her father works as a head police officer he ends up going to his Captain and telling him(after a long time) and he tells his Captain that he cant arrest the girl cause he feels that there is something wrong...so he goes to the girl, tells her hes a cop and asks her if she is sexually abused..she tells him that she tried telling police officers before and they would never do anything about it,and to forget about what she said before and just leave it alone...wanting to get her out of the house Hanson goes to arrest her but the father gets in the way and Hanson ends up having to shoot him out of self defense! the police think Hanson was just trying to finish the deal that he had with the girl...so Hanson gets suspended until they investigate further.... Ends up...the girl presses charges and Hanson gets his badge back...and the girl gets custody of her little sister! Just a little FYI-Johnny Depp and Sherilyn Fenn were dating at the time of this episode! And if you want to watch the episode you but dont have the dvd you can go to youtube.com or tv-links.com and the episode is there!! All in all a great episode..Johnny Depp shined like a new penny!I couldnt write enough about this episode!!Its fantastic!moreless
