  • Good season opener to Season Four

This episode follows up from the season three cliffhanger which sees Hanson in jail with Booker and Penhall desperate to get him out. Predictable ending with Hanson being freed but at the expense of Booker who is fired from the program (relocated to the police library) due to the illegal means he used to save Hanson. Booker later returns but this remains his last episode as a jump street officer.

Not one of the best episodes but stays interesting throughout.

  • Good start to an interesting 4th season.

This episode ties up the cliffhanger of the 3rd season very nicely. The last episode of the 3rd season, "Loc'd Out" was a two-parter with a complicated plot. But this episode steers clear of complications and instead focuses on the characters' relationships with each other as they solve the case. The plot is serious, but the dialogue is lighthearted in many places. Notice the police academy photo of Tom Hanson hanging on the wall -- hair wild, looking rebellious -- only 'Tom' didn't look at all like this in the Pilot episode, if we recall. A lot changed in 3 years.
