      Hanson goes on the lam after learning he's the lead suspect in Officer Tower's death, while Booker teams up with Officer Tower's partner to conduct the official investigation into the shooting and locate Hanson.

      The Jump Street unit discovers that a boy who was being used as a pawn by his feuding parents faked his kidnapping with the aid of his grandfather to get away from his parents.  Hoffs tries to get to the bottom of her parents' separation.

      A high school that has just voted to institute a universal drug test to combat a homemade Ecstasy problem nets a number of unlikely suspects, including an undercover Hoffs.  While she tries to repair her professional reputation, McCann is sent in to investigate the chemistry prodigy who organized the vote.

      A star high school quarterback dies during a game from a heart attack. Mac is sent in to uncover a suspected drug ring, but instead follows the lead of a teammate / environmental activist who believes the illegal dumping of hazardous waste into a nearby stream is responsible for the death.

Sensing his life is at a crossroads, Hanson instead leaves town with a free-spirited high school friend to pursue an old flame who's about to get married.

      Suspecting the murder of a motorcycle enthusiast is linked to the corrupt businessman Raymond Crane, who was also behind the framing of Officer Hanson and near-fatal shooting of Officer Ioki, Booker uses blackmail to gain entry into Crane's organization, where he hopes to gather the evidence needed to finally bring Crane to justice.
