Pssst.. johnny's on the cover... lol

I'm not complaining, cos he's fiiiiiiine... but it is a cheap shot at trying to sell the set to hardcore depp fans.

The Season 5 artwork is HORRIBLE! What a disaster. It's obvious that it's the final season, seeing how absolutely no effort at all was put into it. Not only does a BIG photo of Johnny make the final season cover (seeing how he wasn't even in the final season), Peter DeLuise is next in-line, who only appears in the first 1/3 of the season.

Thank god they didn't do something crazy, like put Dustin Nguyen on the cover.

At least the give a small mention to Mac & Joey on the back cover. Plus, and like we all thought, the Season 4 finale, that was held back, was held for the exact reason fans knew. To market it as Johnny's final episode. Not to mention, they also market it like it's a 'bonus feature'. Since when was "Blackout" infamous?

At least Peter DeLuise is coming back to do a commentary for the set, after being absent for Seasons 3 & 4. He'll probably comment on his final episode.

Plus, what's up? No new color for the final season? I think a black-brick would've been nice. But we get a recycled Season 1 look. Plus I think they should've done something at this point that was closer to the actual opening credits. The bricks n' stuff with the graffitti hasn't been used since the first few episodes of Season 3.

I was actually scared by the departure of Johnny Depp & Dustin Nguyen, as well as a in-and-out Peter DeLuise, but Season 5 actually ended up being a damn good season.

I just wish Michael Bendetti had came in earlier in Season 4, to actually transcend the change from the very absent Depp.

Yeah I really liked Michael Bendetti and also having Peter and Michael Deluise some in Season 5. Bendetti would have really helped in Season 4 and maybe the series would not have gone into syndication so soon.
