i love the way Jenko is like still stuck in the whole woodstock phase like an 80's hippie it just makes me giggle i did like jenko but i think the captain we were to see later in steven williams was more structural and police like i dont know how far jenko could have gone with jump street i mean how long can a police deopt survive with doing no paperwork filing no reports etc. Johnny Depp is just amazing in this starting episode as Tom Hanson i love the scene when hes in the hospital with kenny and he just beats the information out of him haha its so hilariousmoreless
  • A very good episode, but I discovered I don't like Jenko.

Although i've seen up to the end of the forth season this was the first time I saw this episode. It was very good for a pilot. Kenny looked really young to be doing drugs. I liked the part when Hanson tells Ioki that his father got the medal of valor for getting killed. I also liked it when Hanson got elbowed in the face by Waxer. I liked the way when Hanson told Jenko that shots were fired he immediately asked if he was okay. All things considered it was a great episode, definately worth watching. But i'd really like to see the first half as well.moreless

    • Hanson (setting up his sax): Well, I figure maybe I can sit in with you guys for a set. Jenko: You? You're going to sit in with us? You? Hanson: Yeah, if you can keep up. Jenko: Say what?! Hey, don't strain yourself bro.

    • Hanson (about Hoffs): Hey Jenk, you know I'm starting to like that lady. What's her deal? Jenko: Hey, don't sweat it man. You'd never make the wait. Hanson: Don't bet on it.

    • Charlie (after a car chase): Okay buster, get your hands were I can see them and freeze! Ioki: Wait a minute, don't shoot! I'm a cop! Charlie: Says who? Hanson: Says me. Charlie: Hanson. I should have known. I didn't recognize you without the bandage on your partner's nose.
