  • BEtter than the Pilot.

Some situations continue in this episode, and this episode stars to grow.

Jack is the strong point in this episode, he has not only finally discovered the mole inside CTU, which can be shocking for some people, he had some moments with good action. Now I understand why Jack could not trust in anyone. This provides the Audience attention in the episode.

Kim is screwed, still, it seems that her mom will save her? Her situation is strange, something more is there.

Palmer storyline point continues to be unclear, but was not bad also.

Overral, a great episode, with action, twist and some details that will be important in the future.moreless

When first episode was mostly introducing then this one was really action packed and with some really stunning plot turns. First I really loved the all thing what was going on that site were Jack went - the shooting, the mouse-cat play. It was intriguing. And it all leading to the place where Jack gets hold of the card and then learns the name. That was a shock..

I think the weakest storyline still is the one with Kim as it looks quite not connected but I am sure soon we will find out more why as I am sure Kim is not kidnapped without reason.moreless

  • Full of excitement from both dialogue, plot and action aspects.

    "Great"
the second episode of 24 is has more action and the story and characers develop at a steady pace. The action scenes are well filmed and full of edge of your seat moments. I'm not quite sure how Jack's daughter comes into it, whether or not her scenaro is linked with that of the presidents and the case that Jack is working, i don't no. We are introduced to some new characters and a man who proudly announces he's going to kill the president. The president of course escapes the saftey of the secret service and i'm still unsure why he did that. There is still a lot about the plot that i still don't entirely understand, like the scene in the desert where a bug was planted in the ground and a stranger on a motorbike came a long to pick it up... but i'm sure all we be reveiled eventually. There is a great twist at the end which is quite a shocker moment and an exceleent cliffhanger. i look forward to more.moreless

    • Crew or equipment visible: When Jack and Richard are trying to leave the building in Dunlop Plaza, right after Jack reties a tourniquet with Richard's tie, crew members are visible to the right side of a door frame that they walk through. Edit
    • At Dunlop Plaza, when Jack and Walsh leave the stairwell and head into the hallway, the camera follows close behind Walsh as they turn the corner. As it follows them, you can plainly see the torso of a man in a blue shirt with his arms crossed to the left of the screen along with someone's forearm. This happens just as Walsh exits the stairwell, holding out his gun in the opposite direction and before the camera whips around to Walsh and Jack. The gun blocks the face of the blue shirt man, and only the forearm of another can briefly be seen. Edit
    • Although each hour is supposed to unfold in real-time, there are three minutes that are unaccounted for. This is due to the fact that the final three minutes of each hour are used for commercials, station ID and previews for upcoming episodes of 24. Edit

    ADD NOTES
    • Jamey Farrell's hair style is notably different in this episode than the previous one. This is obviously due to the fact that this episode was filmed quite a while after the pilot. Edit
    • The CTU interior seems to have gotten a facelift since the previous episode. This is due to the fact that the pilot was filmed quite a while before the series was picked up by Fox. The audible ticking clock used to bumper each commercial break is also changed. Edit
    • Beginning with this episode, Penny Johnson Jerald, Carlos Bernard and Richard Burgi are credited as Special Guest Stars. Edit

    ADD QUOTES
    • Tony: You mind telling me what's going on around here tonight? Jack: What's going on? You mean besides a 747 falling out of the sky and a threat on a presidential candidate's life? Tony: Yeah, besides that. Edit
    • Palmer: Today is going to be the second most important day of my life. Sherry: And what would the first one be? Palmer: I think you know. Sherry: Well, I still like to hear you say it. Palmer: All right. The most important day of my life.... was when I hit the game-winning three against DePaul at the Final Four. Sherry: You just lost my vote, Senator! Edit
    • Tony: You know, it's funny. When you came to Jack's rescue back there with your little performance... it reminded me of something. Nina: Yeah, what? Tony: Remember that time we came into work together about a month ago? Lisa made some wisecrack remark, and you came up with this really great B.S. story... an early breakfast meeting with District Three. I was really impressed with how convincing a liar you are. Edit
