Some situations continue in this episode, and this episode stars to grow.

Jack is the strong point in this episode, he has not only finally discovered the mole inside CTU, which can be shocking for some people, he had some moments with good action. Now I understand why Jack could not trust in anyone. This provides the Audience attention in the episode.

Kim is screwed, still, it seems that her mom will save her? Her situation is strange, something more is there.

Palmer storyline point continues to be unclear, but was not bad also.

Overral, a great episode, with action, twist and some details that will be important in the future.

When first episode was mostly introducing then this one was really action packed and with some really stunning plot turns. First I really loved the all thing what was going on that site were Jack went - the shooting, the mouse-cat play. It was intriguing. And it all leading to the place where Jack gets hold of the card and then learns the name. That was a shock..

I think the weakest storyline still is the one with Kim as it looks quite not connected but I am sure soon we will find out more why as I am sure Kim is not kidnapped without reason.
  • Full of excitement from both dialogue, plot and action aspects.

the second episode of 24 is has more action and the story and characers develop at a steady pace. The action scenes are well filmed and full of edge of your seat moments. I'm not quite sure how Jack's daughter comes into it, whether or not her scenaro is linked with that of the presidents and the case that Jack is working, i don't no. We are introduced to some new characters and a man who proudly announces he's going to kill the president. The president of course escapes the saftey of the secret service and i'm still unsure why he did that. There is still a lot about the plot that i still don't entirely understand, like the scene in the desert where a bug was planted in the ground and a stranger on a motorbike came a long to pick it up... but i'm sure all we be reveiled eventually. There is a great twist at the end which is quite a shocker moment and an exceleent cliffhanger. i look forward to more.

This episode answers a lot of things from the pilot episode, the reasons behind the strange phone call David Palmer received are revealed; the motives of Rick and Dan become clearer; and the mole mystery continues...

Anddd, for the very first time, Jack uses a gun! And the part when he chopped the dead mans finger off was quite unexpected!! lol.

It was really really sad when Richard Walsh was killed. For someone who could have potentially become a main character, it shows how far 24 is willing to go and how it wants to be taken seriously.

Quote of the hour! Scott Baylor: "I found out that there's an agency conspiracy to kill David Palmer. When I realized what I stumbled on to, I put my wife and kid on a plane. I couldn't even tell them why..."

    "Good"
still good.Following the brilliant pilot, the events in Jack Bauer's longest day become more complex and riveting, introducing a plot factor that has now become a trademark of the series: double-crossing.

Firstly, Jack gets a phone call from his boss, Richard Walsh (Michael O' Neill), whose life has been endangered by his acquisition of data regarding a traitor inside CTU; secondly, Jack's daughter Kim, who went out to have fun with her friend Janet York (whose father Alan is currently looking for them with Teri Bauer), is shocked to discover things might not go as planned; in addition, Mandy (Mia Kirshner), who blew up an entire 747 to cover up the theft of an ID, is having trouble with her employer (Michael Massee) because her partner wants more money; and as if that weren't enough, word reaches Senator Palmer of a scandal so massive it might ruin his Presidential candidacy.

The first episode alone was a masterclass in intricacy and suspense, with this second hour adding more shades of mystery and tension and giving more dramatic meat to the characters. This doesn't only ensure even the briefest cameo is above stereotype, it also makes it hard to draw a line between "good" and "evil": in 24, trust is in very short supply - as are pauses for breathing!

New characters are introduced, old ones are killed off all of a sudden (apparently, a running joke among the show's writers is that besides Jack, everyone is expendable), loyalties are questioned, the stakes get higher for every passing minute and the real time brings the adrenaline to a dangerously high level. What's not to love?

This episode was, well, absolutely TERRIFIC. It was the first ever episode and really got me hooked onto the show. It was full of action, and the cliffhangers are brilliant and always unique. The whole real time concept really makes the programme different and special.

In the episode, we meet some of the show's greatest characters, such as Jack Bauer, Kim Bauer, Nina Myers, Tony Almeida, Teri Bauer, and George Mason. Even in the first episode, you feel as if you know lots about the characters. There is a lot of action and excitement in the episode and you get to see the different stories going on, such as that of President David Palmer.
  • The second episode of 24 is another cool installment to the series, showing more secrets...

Jack Bauer is still in CTU and searches for his daughter Kim. His wife Teri is with Alan York, and they find out where they'be been.

Tony suspects Jack and Nina and asks them what happened in his office, but Nina comes out with a lie.

Walsh calls Jack and tells him to come where he is because the people who want to kill the senator are stalking him. Jack comes and help, but he couldn't save him from the last one. He gets a card for David Palmer. Walsh says that it's the key to find out who is the spy in CTU.

Kim is still with Dan and Rick and they become angry with her and Jenet.

Jack scanns the card and it was made by Nina Myers so she is suspected to be the spy.

    Good episode, an average!

While the premiere draws in the audience, introduces the characters, and sets up the season, the second episode officially kicks things off and tells us that this show is a gripping force to be reckoned with. A little MacGuffin is introduced in the form of a keycard, and it is just the stepping stone the characters need to advance the story.

Of course, it can't be as easy as finding the keycard on the street; you must first shoot your way through some sinister henchmen. Jack and Walsh at Dunlop Plaza is a great sequence. It's very creepily lit, it looks like something out of a horror movie, and it exudes a lot of the suspense and mystery that S1 is all about.

It's made apparent that, even without the assassination plot, David Palmer's got his own problems to take care of. These problems aren't fully revealed, but we're on our way to finding out, as he heads to a mysterious meeting with one of his shady associates.

We're also introduced to the first (as I call them) "Bigbad" of the series, Ira Gaines, who really wants a foreign photographer's ID for a yet undisclosed reason. Again, things start small here, but they won't disappoint in the episodes to come.

The characters and arcs introduced in the pilot are further developed, and it makes for a very intriguing and well-paced episode.

    Hourly Highlight:

The Dunlop scene, with no small amount of credit to the thumb removal.
  • Jack's first kill...

    9.0
    "Superb"
In almost every way, this episode is much better than the pilot. Better plotting, more suspense, the clock doesn’t sound as cheap, etc. Things pick up right where they left off-Mandy is safely floating down to earth after blowing up a plane and stealing Martin Belkin’s ID. She then goes off to meet her employer, and we are consequently introduced to the first (and one of the best) major “bad guys” on the show: Gaines. Things get really interesting when Mandy meets the assassin who is going to kill David Palmer. Why is that interesting? Because the assassin looks exactly like Martin Belkin, as a result of plastic surgery. Yes, it seems the assassin will use the real Belkin’s ID, coupled with his surgery, to get close to Palmer. Of course, this plan isn’t revealed in this episode, but its pretty obvious anyway. However, Mandy’s “partner” refuses to hand over Belkin’s ID unless she is paid an extra million dollars. Unfortunately, as we’ll see next episode, this problem is easily fixed, and the entire “extra million” story is merely filler to extend the life of the “get the ID” plot thread.

Meanwhile, Kim tries to talk Dan and Rick into letting her go, while Janet just sits uselessly in the front seat. Meanwhile, Teri and Alan York investigate the furniture store where their kids were supposed to be meeting. All of this is only mildly interesting to watch until near the end of the episode, when Dan forces Kim to call her mom, and Janet is whacked with a crowbar. That scene is well played and fun to watch. On the Palmer front, we finally learn the nature of the phone call. It seems that a dirty part of his family’s past is being dug up, so David calls a man named Carl in order to meet with him. We are also introduced to the two children in the family. It’s all intriguing, but things still move really slowly here, and they wont pick up for several more hours. What makes this a stellar hour is Jack and Walsh’s story, in which Jack must head to Dunlop Plaza in order to rescue Walsh from a team of hit men. It seems Walsh has acquired a key card which can prove who the mole in CTU is! These scenes are completely awesome to watch, from the shootout in the Plaza, to the removal of the finger (just watch!), to the unfortunate conclusion of the escape. The keycard does indeed produce the name of someone in CTU, but that story is saved for the next episode.

The Best: Any of the scenes at the Plaza

The Worst: Well, there aren’t really any “bad” parts in this episode. I guess I’ll go with Kim, Dan, and Rick’s bickering in the van. It gets tiring listening to them argue, and unfortunately they will continue to do so for several episodes.

There are those episodes that one may call, "transitional episodes". That would be the correct term to describe this show.

After a having a jolly good time during the pilot, it's time to get to buisness. This means you have to actually unfold the plot..which was accomplished well in this episode. One has to acknowledge that wathcing some mild action and a car ride is far from exciting. But one also has to acknowledge that there has to be plot envolvement.

I applaud the writers in being able to unravel important details with such eloquence and captivating the audience while doing so.
  • Teri and Alan struggle to locate Kim, and Walsh is ambushed when he attempts to retrieve a crucial keycard from another agent.

    9.4
    "Superb"
This episode followed up a solid premiere episode with a SUPERB effort, as the pace that has come to define the season and the show in general is set, right from the first ten minutes, as Richard Walsh is ambushed at Dunlop Plaza while recovering a keycard that might shed light on who the mole at CTU could be. Jack races off to assist Walsh, while Tony becomes increasingly suspicious of Jack’s actions.

    In the other storylines:

Kim realizes that she and Janet are being kidnapped

Teri and Alan struggle in their efforts to locate Kim

Palmer, ignoring the threat on his life, must deal with a personal crisis that involves his son

Mandy and Bridgit attempt to extort more money out of Gaines for their services

However, this episode will be most remembered for the lengthy and thrilling action sequence and Dunlop Plaza, culminating with the surprising and emotional death of Richard Walsh, and the subsequent revelation that Nina is the mole at CTU, according to the information on the keycard. The events in this episode instantly convinced me that the first episode certainly was not a fluke, 24 had the potential to be the best drama on television.

This episode was good, another episode that had a little less action and a little more information.

The "action" scene with Richard and Jack at a secure location was kind of cool. The result in the end was the information of a possible dirty CTU agent and the death of a man who Jack said he owed his life too. I liked the scene when Jack killed off the 2 men trying to recover the data that Jack was trying to recieve.

Other then that scene everything else was pretty mellow. Palmer is on his way to meet someone, his family is dealing with the secret service. Kim seems to be involved in this plot against Palmer, for reasons unknown as of right now. The next few epiosdes should explain a lot

1:02 A.M.-1:07 A.M.: Mandy lands in the Mojave Desert. CTU can't get a hold of Walsh. Tony wants to know what went on between Jack and Mason. Nina concocts a story to shut him up. Mandy buries Martin's ID, attached to a homing receiver, before an accomplice picks her up. A mysterious motorcyclist uses a homing device to recover the ID. Tony knows Nina was lying and confronts her, but she won't talk.

1:07 A.M.-1:09 A.M.: Teri and Alan arrive at the furniture store, and find evidence that the girls were there -- a condom. Still held captive in Dan's van, Kimberly negates her previous story that her dad is dead by telling the guys he's a government agent. They don't care and Janet is too out of it from roofies to help.

1:09 A.M.-1:12 A.M.: Walsh meets secretly with Scott, a nervous CTU agent, who gives him a key card that has the added bonus of containing a lot of secret info about Palmer. Scott fears for his life and wants out of it, but Walsh talks him into helping out for another 24 hours. That time is cut short when an unseen assailant opens fire at the two, killing Scott and injuring Walsh in the arm. Walsh calls Jack and begs him to come to Dunlop Plaza and help him, but another shot rings out and the call goes silent.

1:17 A.M.-1:20 A.M.: While en route to the plaza, Jack calls Teri back. She wants him to come help out, but he has to help Walsh. Teri and Alan plan to wait at the furniture store until the girls return. Rick begs Kimberly to just go along with what they're doing and lets it slip about "these people" they're doing it for. Janet starts choking, but Dan won't stop the car -- even for Rick.

1:20 A.M.-1:22 A.M.: Palmer and Sherry see the 747 explosion on the news. Palmer still won't tell his wife what Maureen Kingsley said.

1:22 A.M.-1:23 A.M.: Mandy and accomplice arrive at the secluded house of Gaines, who gives her a briefcase full of cash and asks for the ID. She says he'll get it soon.

1:23 A.M.-1:24 A.M.: Jack gets to the plaza and calls Nina for an entry code. Tony is monitoring Jack and Nina as he reads a chat transcript of their call on his computer.

1:29 A.M.-1:31 A.M.: Jack finds Walsh. Before they try to make their way out, Walsh says there were at least two shooters, but Jack found no one else. In Gaines' bathroom, Mandy comes face to face with another accomplice who, through the magic of plastic surgery, has been transformed into the spitting image of Martin (albeit with blonde hair). And he plans to kill Palmer.

1:31 A.M.-1:36 A.M.: Tony confronts Nina a second time. She lies again and reminds him she's his superior. Tony makes a veiled threat that she isn't after they punch out. On the stairs of the plaza, Jack crafts a tourniquet for Walsh's arm from his tie. Though Jack disagrees, Walsh blames himself. The two plan their safe exit from the building, but run into the assailants. They manage to kill two of them without getting hit. Jack takes a souvenir from one of the bodies -- a thumb.

1:36 A.M.-1:38 A.M.: The mysterious motorcyclist arrives at Gaines' place. She is supposed to hand over Martin's ID, but instead just hands over a Polaroid of it because she wants more money. Gaines orders his accomplice to shoot her, but thinks better of it when he realizes he won't get the ID if he kills her before it's in his possession.

1:42 A.M.-1:44 A.M.: Teri calls Jack so he can help her and Alan get the store owner's number, but he's turned his phone off. So she calls Nina to do it. Nina doesn't want to, but caves in.

1:44 A.M.-1:45 A.M.: The Palmers' kids, Keith and Nicole, arrive back at their hotel room. One of Palmer's aides calls him and Palmer demands he come over now because of Maureen Kingsley.

1:45 A.M.-1:48 A.M.: As Teri and Alan clean up the mess the kids made, Teri mentions her temporary separation with Jack, to which Alan replies that his ex took off and never returned. Nina retrieves the number and calls back Teri with it. Teri calls the owner, but he isn't there, so she leaves a message to come over to the store ASAP. Agent Aaron Pierce shows up at the Palmers' hotel room looking for the senator, but he's gone. Sherry wants to know what's up. Pierce says they've been asked to add another layer of security because there's expected to be an attack on his life today. Outside, Palmer gets in his car and drives off.

1:53 A.M.-1:54 A.M.: As Jack and Walsh try to escape the plaza, Walsh gets shot again. He knows it's the end for him, so he hands Jack Scott's card to give it to Jamey, who can tell him who the dirty agent is. Jack takes it just as Walsh is killed by another round. Jack makes it to his car, leaving Walsh's body behind.

1:54 A.M.-1:56 A.M.: In his car, Jack calls Jamey and tells her to phone Division to have Walsh's and Scott's bodies picked up. When he inquires about the card, Jamey tells him to use his car's mobile scanner to transmit the data to her.

1:56 A.M.-2:00 A.M.: Dan pulls the van over and orders Kimberly out. Dan demands she call her mother and say she's fine and is just at a party. When Kimberly resists, Dan goes to hurt her but Rick stops him, reminding him that Gaines (these people) said not to. So instead Dan takes a crowbar and hurts Janet to get Kimberly to do as told. Teri wants to pick up the girls herself, but Kimberly obviously refuses. After she hangs up, Dan orders her back into the van. Teri suspects something is wrong because Kimberly said "I love you" during the call, which she never says. Jamey gets a match on the card which only Jack's eyes can see -- Nina Myers. Teri and Alan leave the store as Jack and Kimberly are both on the road. The Martin Belkin lookalike practices his aim with an egg. Tick, tick, tick

I was deployed to the Middle East so now that I am home I catching up on Season 3 via Netflix.

So far they are showing a terrorist attack that is about to occur....not suprising. I also figure it would be biological of some sort.

I think the Kim dating Chase thing is just setting up for some "oh no" moment.

I think it is interesting that they made this season three years later and didn't say anything about what happened to the assassins. I guess I will find that out later.

Also, I think they are going to set President Palmer up to lose his re-election. I hope not because Dennis Hayberth is very good as a President. Better than Martin Sheen anyway.

The Jack being addicted to heroine is going to be interesting too...he is in for a long day.......

Well, I guess the show DOES get more tense as it goes. But it's still not as tense as I would think it be.

Things have been heating up on the show, with Jack looking for a mole, more stuff with Kim, and the Mandy chick...

Actually, as silly as it sounds, my favorite story right now is Kim's. Maybe it's because Elisha Cuthbert is a good actress, but I really like her character and I'm interested in seeing where it will go.

Mandy is also an interesting character. (Kinda cute, too.) I like her, but I read she doesn't last very long.

The show is getting better and better. I can see it being in full force by episode five.
  • Better than the pilot. Episode summary and possibly spoilers for future episodes inside.

Following an impressive, ambitious pilot is demanding. However, 24 pulls off an episode that is better than its predecessor. We start to see deeper into the conspiracy and just how dangerous it is having no one to trust. Also they throw in one of the biggest twists that proves that this show won't follow conventional rules.

Mandy touches ground in the desert. There she waits for her escort to get her money. Only this isn't a simple delivery. Before her escort arrives, she places the ID in a homing device and buries it. As soon as she has left, a mysterious person on a motorcycle rides to where Mandy was and finds the ID using a tracking device.

CTU scrambles for information regarding the plane when Tony approaches Jack regarding what had happened to Mason in the last hour. Jack doesn't say anything, but Nina comes to his defense with a quickly concocted lie. Surprised, Jack compliments her on it. Although Jack is new to Nina's deceptive ways, Tony knows a bit more. Although Tony doesn't question the initial decision, he confronts Nina privately about her talent at lying. He wants to know the truth, but Nina doesn't say. This bit helps foreshadow the reveal at the end of this episode.

The episode really starts when Walsh arrives at a mysterious dark office building. He's there to meet an analyst who has vital information. The analyst, Scott Baylor, provides Walsh with a keycard. As he explains, access codes don't take much space on the magnetic strip. The terrorists used this extra space to store information regarding Palmer. This venue is the perfect way to get information out without raising suspicion because they're used so frequently.

Walsh asks that Baylor stay on duty throughout the day, but Baylor wants to get away. The people behind this hit are so scary that Baylor sent his family into hiding when he found the keycard. He reluctantly agrees to help him for the rest of the day, but that deal ends when an unknown gunman shoots him dead. Walsh is wounded, but manages to escape. He informs Jack of what is going on and that he's the only person who can help him because of this leak. Suddenly, Walsh hangs up, and Jack frantically rushes to Walsh's location.

Teri and Alan arrive at the furniture store to find Janet's car and remnants of the party, including a condom wrapper. Of course neither is pleased. Jack calls to get an update, but when he tells Teri he can't be there, she gets cranky. He tries to ease her worries by saying that Kim isn't missing and she knows her limits regarding partying. Ironically, Jack's reasonable idea is the incorrect one.

In the Van of Doom, Kim grows worried and begs Rick and Dan to let them go. Kim's coherent, but Janet is extremely inebriated. Dan drugged her and tells Rick he should've done the same to Kim. Janet starts to choke, but Dan doesn't want to do anything about it. Dan is the misogynist of the two, shoving Kim in the backseat and putting down Rick for trying to give Janet some air. During this, some aggressive music plays in the background, which helps make Dan's indifference even more troubling.

Looking back on the first couple episodes, I wonder what Mandy's story on the show would've been had 9/11 happened. In publicity material for 24, she was featured in pictures with the lead cast, but she would only appear in three episodes this season. Obviously, she was swept aside because they couldn't have a character who blew up a plane more than necessary. But they decided to finish her initial storyline. When she arrives at the compound, Ira Gaines gives her a briefcase filled with money and offers her another job. She doesn't want a part of it, preferring to lay low for a while. Perhaps had she been kept around, we would've learned more about why. It seems like she may have felt guilty about her actions. If that's so, then they probably made a good decision to remove it.

Jack asks Nina for the clearance code for the office building Walsh is in. Since the line isn't secure, Tony is able to hear the whole thing. This action doubles as both a follow up on his suspicions about Nina's lie and a possible way to draw suspicion on him regarding the mole's identity. At this point on the show, we don't know a whole lot about Tony's character aside from not liking Jack and not trusting Nina when they're working together. His suspicions make him the most obvious choice, which obviously means that it isn't him.

On the rooftop, actually the top floor of a parking garage, Jack finds Walsh. They go together to Jack's car. This is a great idea for suspense. They're in a dark, mysterious building with an unknown number of men sent to kill them. As they finish descending the stairwell, Jack makes a tourniquet for Walsh's arm. Walsh blames himself for setting up the meeting wrong and apologizes to Jack for getting him involved. Jack insists that he has no reason to apologize, adding that he owes Walsh his life. Why isn't clear. It feels pointless to throw something like this in when Walsh is killed off at the end. However, his early demise meant that the writers needed to establish Walsh and Jack's relationship quickly. Maybe they thought such a major connection would make Walsh's death resonate more.

They navigate to an office area where they spot one of the gunmen. Working together, they find some desks they can hide in and from there they kill other men. Here's where it gets a little shocking. Jack goes to one of the bodies, checks to see if he's still alive, then brutally lops off the gunman's thumb. At first you may wonder why he would do this, but in the next episode, it's clear why, aside from the hell of it.

Mandy tells Gaines that the ID will be delivered shortly. The biker, a woman named Brigit, arrives at Gaines' compound, but doesn't have the ID. Instead, she hands him a Polaroid. He threatens to kill her, but relents since she is the only person who knows where the ID is located. Unbeknownst to Mandy, Brigit has decided to hold out on the ID for more money. Brigit must've been new to the life of a mercenary and clueless as to when you should negotiate for more money.

At Palmer's hotel room, the Senator plays down the call he received last hour and jokes around with his wife one more time before things become serious. His kids come home from a political rally excited. However, his aide Carl calls him regarding Maureen's call. Palmer leaves to meet him in person, avoiding the secret service agents (first appearance of Agent Pierce) who have been called up to increase security. It's surprising they didn't do this earlier considering when they found out about this threat. But the writers had to get Palmer out somehow.

Teri can't find Jack, so with Nina's reluctant help, she finds the number of the owner of the store. While they clean up the kids' mess, Teri reveals to Alan that she was separated and has been trying to revive her marriage. The frustration Teri has towards Jack is now opening herself up to Alan and their position together certainly leads to some dramatic tension for those who don't know how the rest of the season will play out.

Walsh and Jack manage to get out of the building, but as they climb over the railing, Walsh is shot. Jack tries, but can't get the shooter. In his last action, he gives the keycard to Jack, instructing him to give it to Jamey. As he throws it to Jack, the gunman fires at him again. Jack manages to escape, but is reeling from the murder of his friend. It's shocking that after only two episodes they would kill off someone we expected to be a major player. Michael O'Neill is a recognizable character actor, so we assume he'll be around. Such a bold move was to make this early. Now we know to make no assumptions and that no one is safe.

In an ominous empty parking lot, Dan pulls over and throws out Kim. He tells her to call her mom to make her believe she's OK. Kim defiantly remains quiet. Rick keeps Dan from seriously hurting Kim, saying that Gaines doesn't want her hurt. While Rick may be Dan's friend only because it makes Dan feel better about himself, Rick helps keep the worst of his sadistic side down. Still, Dan whips out a crowbar and breaks Janet's arm to get Kim to call. Trying unsuccessfully to quell her hysteria, she tells her mom that she's at a party and Dan quickly cuts off the conversation. Since Kim said "I love you", a phrase she never uses, Teri's worry appears to be justified.

Still upset, Jack calls Jamey about the keycard. She gets him to send the data via his remote magnetic scanner. From this information, she'll be able to find whose computer was used to burn the information on the card. Surprisingly, it is Nina. It makes Tony's suspicions about her ability to lie much more grounded.

Meanwhile, a naked Mandy meets Jonathan. This scene cements her status as a cult icon among 24 fans. Anyway, Jonathan is a sniper who has had his face altered to resemble Martin Belkin. Assuming the photographer's identity, he will kill Palmer later that day. He spends some time practicing on eggs, a rather explosive way to end the episode.

The story capitalized on the pilot's question. We learned just how bad the mole situation is. Walsh's death is certainly unexpected. This twist eventually led to far too many "Walsh isn't dead and is actually the mole" speculation, but it's a small price to pay for a suspenseful episode. It is one of season one's highlights.
  • One of the most mysterious episodes in 24's history, "Day 1: 1:00 a.m.-2:00 a.m," was a Season 1 classic.

    "Superb"
I remember vividly watching this episode back in 2001. I had already grown attached to Richard Walsh in the pilot episode and was very glad that he was given such a pivotal role in this episode.

In many ways, this episode was a departure from the series of 24 as a whole. This episode was less about fighting terrorism as it was a straight-up espionage episode. It had great editing, especially when Walsh calls Jack for help. A shot rings out, Walsh's split screen is cut to black, and Jack calls out his name. Great stuff.

    Highlights:

    -Scott Baylor's scene with Walsh

-Jack and Walsh meeting on the rooftop

-Seeing Jack use a gun for the first time

-Jack and Walsh teaming up to take down the minions

-Jack chopping off the minion's finger

    -Walsh's sacrifice

-Another cool and unexpected cliffhanger ending
