  • Teri and Kim on the run.

    9.0
This episode shows Teri and Kim will never be safe until the attack is stopped They find themselves in danger when the man from the hospital kills the guards ad chases Teri and Kim which leads them to a dangerous path The next episode will be interesting with Jack setting up a plan to get information off Alexis now that Elizabeth has found out who he is.

  • Even more eye of the storm

    6.0
From the start, the whole Elizabeth Nash situation just seemed "there"; placed conveniently for the writers to exploit in a later episode when Jack had nothing to do. Well, this is that episode. In a little deus ex machina of sorts, Elizabeth realizes that her lover is really an assassin planning to take out Palmer by midnight, and decides to help CTU stop him. Eh…kinda iffy on all the disjointedness if you ask me.

Meanwhile, Alberta Green finally takes a hike, and our old friend George Mason returns to head CTU. There's one redemption.

The Palmer storyline also takes another turn when Keith meets with Carl and finds out what the deal is with Ferragamo and the blackmail and all that jazz. Turns out Keith was recording the whole conversation. Nice.

Finally, Teri and Kim are once again put in danger when Andre's hitmen break into the safe house and hunt them down. They manage to escape, but unintentionally get separated. And Teri develops amnesia by the end. I'm no fan of the amnesia plotline, but not because it seems implausible; given what Teri went through earlier, I could buy this. No, the amnesia plot sucks because it adds some more character development for Teri. I know the last hour featured some of that too, but this time it's just unnecessary and BORING.

There are a couple of pluses, but this episode gets me quite restless. One little car chase is not enough to win over my praise.

    Hourly Highlight:

Jovan Myovic killing Breeher with that completely gratuitous mini-harpoon.moreless
  • A Good One!!!!!

    7.5
Things are starting to become a little better.

Kim and Teri aren´t safe, but the overral scenes was very good and the fact are the highlight of this episode. But things gets worse, when you think that Kim is Dead, very good. Then we discovered that Kim is alive, but teri lost her memory due to thinking that she has lost her daughter.

Now they are separeted, we will have two weak storylines.

The best higlight of this episode is when Keith records the conversation he has with Carl. It was very clever, iand now Palmer will have a chance to end this.

Everyone could predicted that when Elizabeth discovered that Alexis is the assassin, she would help CTU to capture him. What is good about this, is she can die, because she is only a temporary character, so this can be interesting.moreless
  • Keith sets out to clare his name, teri and kim are discovered and attacked again.

    7.5
This was a good episode, mainly developing story lines of minor characters and this time showing keith in a mature light. I agree with poeple who seem to see that some plot lines have the sense of something bad is going to happen like with Nash, she is a minor character and it just seems like she just being set up to be killed then remembered as a hero of some sort.

The Teri Kim car plot however was in my own opinion forced, i couldn't understand what would compel a mother with her child on board being chased by an assassin, having been kidnaped, raped and almost killed earlier, to stop a car and check if you had lost the guy. Why would she do that, if she had lost him wouldnt she just drive on to some were safe than stop in the middle of nowhere to just check if they had lost thier chaser, and what if they hadnt lost him, getting out of the car ment giving him time to catch up, which if he does you are out of the car so u become an easy target and even if u run back to the car by the time you get to the car start it and drive off he would have catch up and probably drive you off the cliff. It seemed to me that this plot was just forced so that they could seperate Kim and Teri to just add dramamoreless
  • Not so safe...

    8.6
This episode goes under irony I think. First it was Nina as she leaves the safe house and goes back to CTU and tells Jack that she is sure the family is safe and there is nothing to worry in the same time the family, in fact, is in terrible danger. On the other hand, I do understand why Nina wanted to get out if the house and back where she feels safer and less weird.

Jack has little to do than he usually has and now mostly Palmer is in focus as it comes out that one of his staff knows one of the assassins. Also Palmer's son first time does something worth watching or knowing as he records conversation with the man who blackmails him and his father. So, in the end, they might even have some trumps on their hand.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • After Agent Paulson escorts Teri and Kimberly into the bedroom and tells them to lock the door and wait there, the closed captioning reads, "Mom, I don't
feel safe in here." The line doesn't remain on the soundtrack and was presumably cut pre-filming since Kimberly's lips aren't moving when it pops up.

  • QUOTES (2)

    • Nina: Maybe we should take another break.
Teri: Maybe you should do your job, Nina. Don't you have a job to do?
Nina: I wish it were that simple.
Teri: Things tend to get complicated when you screw your boss.

    • Nicole: The last time you tried to protect me, someone died!

  • NOTES (5)

    • This is the only episode in the first 3 seasons where Carlos Bernard does not make an appearance.

    • Music:
"Who's That Kat?" by The Salads

    • The actor playing Daniels is uncredited.

    • Wade Andrew Williams appears as an extra, and isn't credited. When Matthew Carey, Karina Arroyave and Jacqui Maxwell appeared as extras (after their characters were rendered dead and/or unconscious), they were credited.

    • New recap monologue: "Right now, terrorists are plotting to assassinate a presidential candidate, my wife and daughter have been targeted, and people that I work with may be involved in both. I'm Federal Agent Jack Bauer, and today is the longest day of my life."
