When Jack asks Teri if Janet is out of surgery yet she replies "yea, the police are here". Then he says "call me when she gets out". Two things: one she is clearly not out of surgery, and two how does he know that if Teri said she was?

When the fake Alan disconnected the monitor, it should have rung an alarm in the ICU nurse's station. If, for some bizarre reason, not then, then definitely when Janet's heart rate started to fluctuate -- after all, she had nearly died recently. In the aftermath of a near-fatal incident such as hers, real ICU nurses would have been monitoring her very closely.
