The aftermath of the bombseverything is so well done i miss this show greatkly, now adays they keep crappy shows like the Walk.. i mean the crawling dead on the air.
  • Jack deals with the terrorists from the CTU bombing.

    9.0
This was another good early episode in season 2 with Jack getting revenge on the terrorists behind the CTU bombing Jack spends most of the episode trying to get information from the leader of the group about who ordered the hit on CTU I was glad that Palmer realised that Jack made the call in enough time to save the lives of people at CTU and he did his best to try and save them In the end Jack's attempts to get Joe to give him information paid off when he tells Jack that Nina was involved.moreless
  • Jack still a Badass!!!!!

    8.0
After the Last Intense episode, it is normal that the level of intensity is lower.

Now Jack knows the leader Location, kill eddie and his gang and then go after Joe. In the Beginning the scenes were good between them, but later, the writers buy some time until the end of the episode to bring a good cliffhanger.

Even with is death sentence, mason is back to CTU to lead this crisis.

In this episode we discovered who is alive.

Palmer situation in his administration come to a brief resolution about Rayburn plot.

Kim situation gets worse wbut nothing beyond the usual.

  • Getting closer...

    8.8
CTU is bombed.. oh.. Tony is all right, thanks good but that cannot be said about Paula and she is the only one who can retrieve the data they have on bombs. And George comes back after yelling on Tony and makes a decision he could not make - they won't let Paula to be taken to hospital. She will try to give their the encryption key and then die. And the talk Tony had with the other agent about Paula.. it was sweet.. and shows there is a big different between George and Tony in charge. Jack does little shooting.. little more shooting and what he finds in the end.. wow.. Can we have Nina back? :D As I did like her char even thought what she did was cruel.moreless
  • Take that, PETA!

    8.0
While everyone's reeling from the events of the last hour, Jack gets right down to business and hunts down Joseph Wald, the mastermind of the CTU bombing (but not the nuke). This is the best part of the episode, but some of the events occurring on other fronts aren't anything that I'd ignore.

Mason returns to CTU despite his radiation poisoning, and Tony and Michelle try to revive Paula so they can retrieve critical intelligence on the nuke. Those are the remotely interesting plotlines, anyway. There's also Kim and the Warners, but……where am I going with this?

Plus, Palmer finds out about Rayburn's treachery and promptly dismisses him from the big underground headquarters of the OC. So, was Rayburn supposed to last longer on the show and did Timothy Carhart just have other commitments, or did the writers plan the "Rayburn out, Stanton in" thing from the beginning? Guess I'll never know.

Again, Jack's scenes are what make this episode. His screentime with Wald is great, and by hour's end, the suspense pays off with an unexpected twist that I won't spoil for you. Though if you really don't want to know, I would advise you not to read any more of my reviews. You could also, I dunno, watch the damn show.

  • TRIVIA (5)

    • After Jack was going after Wald from being attacked by his dog, the arms of his jacket were intact.

    • A bomb exploded inside CTU destroying pretty much everything, yet the "systems" including the phone lines are somehow still working.

    • In episode 2, Mason is seen typing in his password, which is 11 characters long. Yet in this episode when he's asked by Tony, he gives his password as Hendrix (most likely spelt like rock legend Jimi Hendrix), 7 characters long.

In the other hand, the password may have been "jimihendrix" and Mason just said "hendrix" over the phone for security, hoping that Tony would understand...that's why Tony asked for the "x".

    • There is no way that Jack could have driven from West L.A. to the middle of Simi Valley in 20 minutes at that time of day.

    • After the shootout with Eddie and Chris, the car Eddie is driving has all the windows shot out and is filthy. After Jack commandeers the car, he's seen driving it to Wald's, and all the windows are intact, rolled up, and the car is clean.
