  • Kate volunteers to help CTU identify Sayed Ali. The President is forced to resort to torture to crack Stanton. Kim's struggles continue.

This particular episode has many high points. It is very compelling as well as exciting. There are a number of scenes that are very well written and the viewer's interests are held from start to finish. Sarah Wynter is fantastic in this episode. I like seeing her take initiative and volunteer to go undercover into the mosque. She also is able to match words and wits with Jack which adds to this episode's entertainment value. One thing I did not care for was the unnecessary diversion from the main story of the episode for a "Days of Our Lives" moment between Tony and Michelle. I did not buy that. I have no problem with them having romantic feelings for one another, but I would just think that two professionals like Tony and Michelle would put the the task at hand before their personal matters. As far as Kim's troubles, it is what it is. It gets even more goofy here. Still the episode as a whole is a good one. See you at the next chapter.moreless
  • Its a brutal world

24 again shows us how all sides can be so brutal. And another great twist in this one.
  • Finding Syed.

The last episode left a lot to look forward to this episode The episode mostly revolved around Kate helping Jack to find Syed but after so much planning they are yet to catch him after he makes a clever escape at the end I think that Tony and Jack was as shocked as I was when they identified Marie as the shooter of Reza and to stop them finding her she is now using a disguise to do what Syed has planned for her The episode ends as the sun goes down and it looks like it's going to be a long night for Jack.moreless
  • Party at Allah's!

Back in S1, I complimented the fifth episode, "4am - 5am," for creating great suspense without actually advancing the plot much. "Day Two: 6pm - 7pm" achieves something similar to that.Well, aside from the Palmer subplot, which advances the plot at least mediumly. Roger Stanton is arrested and tortured for information on the nuke. Via defibrillators to the head. How shocking. Don't really know why the writers had to focus on Palmer bringing in and having a heart-to-heart with that Secret Service agent/torture specialist before starting the procedure, so that's kinda weird.Next up, Marie's just been revealed as evil, so she's gotta do some other evil thing this hour, which she accomplishes by picking up the trigger for the nuke. And she gives head before doing so. Perked up pretty quickly just now, didn't you?But as for Jack, he and Kate team up to look for Syed Ali at a mosque, and by hour's end…they're still looking for Syed Ali at a mosque. See, it's slow, but not too slow. And it's these kinds of developments that, say, the latter half of S4 desperately needed, but that's for another review. So why the 6? Don't ask me; ask the cougar.Hourly Highlight:Uh, the defibrillators to Stanton's head, I guess.moreless
  • A filler Episode!!!!!

It make all the sense that this episode is more weaker than the previous one with nothing really happening.

Syed Ali is a fine example and how they didn´t caught him yet.

Roger was arrested and of course, he doesn´t reveal anything yet.

Jack s now trusting Kate, even with what her sister has made. Kate too helped CTU to find Syed Ali.

We have another nice scene between Tony and Michelle.

Overral, my note for this episode ends to be fair.

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Palmer: I don't know Roger, it almost seems as if you want this bomb to go off today. But I'll tell you this: if people die Roger, you'll be executed, and even if we find the bomb in time, you'll still get life without the possibility of parole. But all I want to do is find the bomb in time.

    • Palmer: You're not a member of my staff, you're not a government employee and you're not my wife.
Sherry: That was your decision, not mine!
Palmer: Sherry, listen to me. Whatever role you're playing here today, is on my terms; my timetable. Continue doing what you're doing. I'll speak to you soon.
Sherry: But... (Palmer hangs up phone on her)

    • Jack: What you did for us in the mosque, I thought it was really courageous. Thank you.
Kate: You're kidding me. I'm still shaking!
      Jack: You did great.

    • Kate: It would make me feel a lot better if I knew what was going on.
Jack: I'm sorry, I'm not at liberty to say.
Kate: Your people took the liberty of arresting my father. Syed Ali took the liberty of kidnapping me and killing Paul Koplin right in front of me. I think I've earned the right to know what's going on.

  • NOTES (2)

    • Elisha Cuthbert was bitten on the hand by the cougar that appeared in this episode. She was hospitalized for a short time, but was able to film her scenes.

    • Carmen Mormino appeared in last season's 2:00 A.M.-3:00 A.M. episode, playing a different character.
