Paula: I didn't know how you liked intel presented impromptu, whether you sorta liked it chronologically or with an alphabetical key. Or just separate folders with access tabs?
Tony: (overwhelmed) Uhm...I don't really care...
Paula: It doesn't matter, I did it both ways, so you can choose.
-
Mason: That was great, Almeida. Now what?
Tony: Back off, George. I did the best I could.
Mason: I guess your best isn't very good then, is it?
-
Palmer: What do you want to do tonight?
Keith: I don't know, get a movie?
Palmer: You came out all this way to watch a video?
-
Palmer: If a bomb goes off today it will hurt us, but it will destroy you.
-
Tony: We can get to Kim. We can get her out of the city. We can keep her safe. I promise you. The best thing you can do for her is help find that bomb.
Jack: I trusted everybody here at CTU to protect my wife, and I lost her. Tony, I'm not gonna lose my daughter. I'm sorry
-
Mason: Jack, look at you. You look like a bum off the street, you're not talking to me, I just confiscated a witness outside of my authority, based on your call. Are you going to tell me what you are doing?
Jack: (flatly) No.
-
Jack: That's the problem with people like you, George. You want results, but you never want to get your hands dirty. I'd start rolling up your sleeves.
-
Palmer: Today is going to be a very long day.
-
Mason: I know this isn't very pleasant, but this is our job. This is what we do.
-
Palmer: Jack, you saved my life. I trust you as much as I trust anyone and now I need you help.
-
Palmer: What I am saying is not meant to be a threat, but simply a statement of fact. If a bomb goes off on US soil today, I will have no choice but retaliate with immediate and decisive force against your government.
-
Palmer: What's this about, Eric?
Rayburn: We have a 'domestic terrorist' alert.
Palmer: How serious?
Rayburn: Very.
-
Mason: Tell ya what, Tony. If I'm still working here this time next year, take me out to the woodshed and shoot me. I should be in DC by now, not chasing little old ladies who make metal detectors go off because they're carrying sewing needles.
Tony: How about the morning of the 15th?
Mason: That'll work.
-
Jack: I'm gonna need a hacksaw.
