    The cliffhanger in this Episode was one of the Best that 24 produced until now.

    The Best Part of this episode of course is Jack and and his infiltration inside of the eddie group. This created some tenses minutes that was nice.

    The problems that Palmer will have to face in his administration continues to be build.

    Kim Situation was a little funny, other than that, had no value.

    Kate family drama continue to be boring.moreless

    Mm.. Jack is back of being Jack.. Kim is Kim and finding every trouble she possibly could. Everything is back to normal, I would say. So, the story I think is not getting away too quickly and maybe little weaker than season 1 but still good. I most say when at the start of first season, I did not liked Kim's storyline that this year's one is much better.

    And Jack is in intriguing position too. I am not sure if I got it right what they are going to do but.. it anyway sounded really well. And the whole wedding and Kate storyline.. I think it looks little off first but soon we will find out more of it.moreless

    9:00 A.M.-9:04 A.M.: In the O.C., Lynne Kresge updates the President that the CIA is proceeding on its potential response to a nuclear threat. Because he
    fears mass hysteria, Palmer wants assurances that they will not leak the information. At the industrial complex, Marko and his crew load the completed
    bomb into a van. Gary finishes his call in Kimberly's room, while Megan is still crying. Kimberly motions to Megan, and the girls make a break for it while
    Gary is on the phone. As they run down the stairs, Carla hands Kimberly her car keys, and tells her to take Megan away. Kimberly loads Megan into Carla's
    car, and pulls out. Although Gary threatens Kimberly, she escapes. Gary then phones his security company to track the location of his vehicle.

    9:04 A.M.-9:09 A.M.: Jack is transported by helicopter to a waiting car. While enroute, Michelle briefs him with photos of Joseph Wald's crew. Jack recognizes
    one of the men as Eddie Grant, a guy that he befriended while undercover. Jack orders that no other agents get near his operation. The press begin to suspect
    something, because the President cut short his fishing trip. Although Eric Rayburn doesn't agree, Palmer wants to deal with the media immediately. As the
    helicopter touches down, Jack checks in with Mason about Kimberly. He learns that when an agent went to pick her up, she was gone. Jack calls Kimberly's
    cell phone, unaware that her phone is still sitting in the Matheson house. He leaves a message warning her to leave Los Angeles. At CTU, Tony assures the
    frightened Paula that the nuclear bomb may only be a false alarm. When Mason learns that forged Middle Eastern passports found in a car that was crossing
    the border matched those of the suspects, he sends the closest agent to investigate. Unfortunately, that agent is the one who is waiting for Kimberly at
    the Mathesons'.

    9:09 A.M.-9:12 A.M.: Jack goes into a salvage garage, and asks for Wald. He is met by Eddie Grant. Eddie knows him as Jack Roush. He accuses Jack of putting
    Wald in jail, but Jack tries to square himself by saying that he has news about Marshall Goren turning state's evidence to convict Wald. Jack gives Eddie
    his bag, and Goren's decapitated head rolls out. Jack tells Eddie that he doesn't have to worry about Goren testifying anymore. Eddie smiles, and brings
    him into the back room.

    9:16 A.M.-9:17 A.M.: Palmer conducts an informal press briefing outside his Presidential retreat. He brushes off their questions about his shortened fishing
    trip with a joke. Press secretary Jenny Dodge lets him know that a reporter named Ron Wieland still suspects something is wrong.moreless

  • Talk about Point A to Point B

    Nearly all the characters sit around without accomplishing a whole lot this hour. However, it being only the second episode of the season, I'll go easy. The developments in Jack's storyline are really what keep the episode afloat.
    Jack goes undercover with Eddie Grant, who's somehow involved with the nuke threat, but is certainly not the one behind it. That's another problem with this episode: no major villain presence. In the second hour of S1, Ira Gaines was introduced, and that served to keep the audience on their toes and engross them with the character. Here, we have only passing references to Syed Ali, who stays hidden for quite a while longer. Eddie and his goons just reek of that "disposable henchman" smell.
    Kate Warner, who was present in the last episode but whom I didn't mention 'cuz she didn't do anything, does some stuff here but it's not worth mentioning either. So why'd I bring it up? I dunno.
    I appreciate the writers' efforts to integrate Palmer's story into the actual threat this season, and the media angle provides some interesting political intrigue. But not much develops there until the end, when Palmer meets with a nosy reporter and decides to stop the guy from leaking anything.
    Overall, this hour is interesting, but it seems to be little more than a prelude to the next one.

    As its only the second episode, the plot hasn't advanced much yet. The scenes involving Jack when he meets Eddie and his goons is great and its a really tense moment when Dave checks up on his identity. But Jack completely owns Dave in this episode by breaking his ankle, that was a funny moment xD. One negative though is the fact that Jack seems to have recovered too quickly from the vunerable state he was in less than an hour ago. But the ending was a classic!! They are bombing up CTU!! Definitely the best ending so far this season.

    The Palmer storyline is quite interesting in how its being inplemented into the main plot involving the nuclear bomb. That Eric Rayburn is a bit of a prat though.

    The Kim storyline was hilarious when she was nearly getting hit by a car multiple times. The fight between her and Gary in the middle of the street was also quite funny. But it was extremely predictable when Megan was no longer behind the boxes.

    I don't really know what to make of the Warners yet as this is the first time a random family has got involved in the plot. Its obvious their storyline has some kind of relevance to the nuclear bomb plot though, unlike the Kim plot.
