9:00 P.M.-9:09 P.M.: With the nuclear bomb still in play, Jack demands the man who was to fly the decoy plane to divulge the bomb's true location. He doesn't respond. George orders a translator.
Back at CTU, George pulls some of his hair out, a sign that he is getting sicker. Jack asks George to look back at time lapse satellite photos to find out where the plane was loaded first. It takes George a minute to respond. Jack tells him that if he can't function that he should step aside and let Tony run things. Before hanging up, George tells Jack that one of the commandos who was originally tracking the bomb is still alive and is possibly the individual that killed the six members of the team. Kate calls her father and speaks briefly before Jack asks her to translate for him.
Back at the Presidential compound, Palmer begins talking to Sherry. He tells her the bomb is in the open, and confronts her with the knowledge that she has been working with Roger Stanton. Sherry tells him that Roger Stanton's office called her months ago trying to recruit her to find out if she's weak.
9:09 P.M.-9:10 P.M.: Kate is speaking with the pilot in Arabic. She asks him to tell her whether or not he knows about a second bomb. She tells Jack that he doesn't. Moments later the translator arrives and relieves Kate. She is taken back to the secured area.
9:10 P.M.-9:11 P.M.: Kate watches as her sister, now a brunette, sneak in to line with a group of people passing through security to leave the airport.
9:15 P.M.-9:17 P.M.: A very depressed Kim sits with her survivalist host in his shelter. He tells her he's going to try and pick something up on the short-wave radio. He is able to hear fine, but he messes with the antenna wire so that the transmission goes dead. He tells Kim that he hears nothing.
9:17 P.M.-9:23 P.M.: An ailing Mason greets the new Systems Operation analyst sent in from Division. He tells her she should report to Michelle and to Tony. She tells him that she knows Michelle from Division, where she was her boss. Moments later he collapses.
Back at the airport, Kate is hot on the trail of her sister, who is trying to elude the authorities. She turns a corner to find Marie holding a gun to her head demanding her CTU name badge. The two begin arguing over her reasons for turning alliances to Syed Ali. She puts a silencer on the gun and threatens to shoot Kate. Before she can proceed, Jack takes her down, and they take her into custody.
9:27 P.M.-9:31 P.M.: Marie is handcuffed to a chair in the hanger, screaming in pain. Kate asks Jack to give her something to mask it. Jack tells her he will, as soon as Marie tells him where the bomb is, and turns to demand its whereabouts. He tells her he will treat the pain as soon as she gives up the bomb's location.
9:31 P.M.-9:34 P.M.: Kim and Lonnie are still in the bunker. Kim goes to get some sugar for her coffee when she finds a TV and turns it on, without his knowledge. Shocked, she sees several live broadcasts from LA. She now knows he's been lying about the bomb's detonation.
Michelle finds the identification of the commando who is still alive. Carrie, the new analyst shows up and begins antagonizing Michelle.
9:34 P.M.-9:35 P.M.: George officially steps down, appointing Tony the new interim CTU director. The two exchange some bittersweet words and George walks out of CTU for the last time.
9:40 P.M.-9:41 P.M.: Tony takes his place at George's desk. He heads down the stairs informs the crew that he is the new CTU director.
9:41 P.M.-9:47 P.M.: Marie is starting to pass out from the pain. Jack orders some painkillers brought in, and asks Kate to speak to her. She refuses to tell Kate anything. The painkillers begin to wear off, Jack orders her to tell him where the bomb is. The pain starts to overwhelm her, so she finally tells him that it is in a suitcase in a green van downtown. Jack knows she's lying and deduces the bomb is still on-site and that she is trying to send them on a wild goose chase.
9:51 P.M.-9:55 P.M.: Palmer sets up a video call to the CIA and speaks with an officer there who confirms Sherry's story. He tells her he doesn't have time to figure out if she's telling the truth.
9:55 P.M.-9:58 P.M.: Lonnie begins making up a bed for himself on the floor. Kim tricks him and them hits him over the head. She grabs a knife and tries to get him to let her out. He grabs the knife from her and the two calm down a moment to discuss what had occurred. He opens a case and removes a gun, checks it for rounds before handing it to Kim for protection. He lets Kim out.
9:58 P.M.-10:00 P.M.: Jack races towards a van where gunfire is taking place. Two agents and one hostile go down. They open the back of the van, and find the bomb, ticking away.
