12:02 A.M.-12:08 AM: Tony reminds Michelle of how important it is for them to get the virus. Michelle already knows and Tony says he doesn't want any more mistakes to happen. They glare at each other as Chloe eavesdrops.

Hector lies gasping in a pool of blood. Ramon tells him that he won't let anyone interfere with their deal. Hector's men want to take him to a hospital, but Ramon says no, because the authorities would ask questions. He then finishes Hector off with another bullet as Jack and Nina both gape in shock. He tells Hector's men that when the deal is over, he wants Hector to have a proper burial. Nina tells Ramon that he should have listened to Hector, because Jack still works for CTU. Ramon glares at her and tells her never to mention his brother's name again.

Sherry finds Palmer after a meeting and tells him that she's leaving. He presses her for more details, but she isn't forthcoming. She also refuses a Secret Service escort, claiming that her source would scare if she doesn't come alone.

Chappelle briefs the CTU staff on the plan for the exchange. Everyone looks nervous as Chloe announces that she'll be working with the audio feed.

Chase sets up at his vantage point near the meeting place and activates a mic.

12:08 A.M.-12:12 A.M.: Jack and the Ramon arrive at the exchange site, and Ramon tells his men to stay out of sight so that Amador won't become suspicious. Nina again tries to convince Ramon that Jack is working with CTU. She says she knows how they operate, since she worked with them for seven years. She tells him that they would have a man stationed either 90 degrees West of the tree line or on the high ground. Ramon sends two men to investigate as Jack listens.

Adam finds Kim taking care of the baby. He asks her about it and Kim says the baby is Chloe's. Adam informs Kim that Chloe doesn't have a baby. He knows this because he was the one who ran the background check on her when she was hired.

Jack goes into the mineshaft alone and pulls a board off a window and studies the area with his night vision glasses. Ramon radios his men to ask if they found anyone. Philipe answers and says he found no one, but Pablo doesn't respond. Nina tells Ramon that they got to him. Ramon is about ready to believe her when Pablo suddenly radios in. Ramon asks if Pablo found anything and Pablo says he didn't. Pablo hangs up and we see that Chase is holding a knife to Pablo's throat. Chase knocks him out and continues to watch. Ramon calls Nina a liar and tells her to go ahead with the meeting as planned. He warns her that if she tries to escape, his guard will kill her. He also tells her there are three snipers in the hills who will insure she doesn't get away.

12:16 A.M.-12:18 A.M.: Kim confronts Chloe about the fact that the baby isn't hers. Chloe explains that the baby belongs to a friend Named Eric and that his ex-wife has a new boyfriend who abuses the baby. Kim asks why Chloe hasn't called Child Protective Services. Chloe says she has called but a worker can't come until the next morning, so she's keeping it for the night. Kim reminds Chloe that she's kidnapping, but Chloe says if Kim calls the police and the baby is harmed, it's on her head. Michelle interrupts to tell Chloe that she's needed on the floor.

12:18 A.M.-12:23 A.M. Sherry arrives at a trailer park and visits a run-down looking man named Mr. Kelly, who is guzzling a glass of liquor. He's nervous but she assures him that she does represent the president and they appreciate his information. Kelly tells Sherry that he witnessed Milliken run his daughter down with his car 12 years ago. Sherry presses him and finally shows him a bank statement. Kelly admits that he took hush money and kept quiet about the fact that it was Milliken who was driving the car. Kelly agrees to come forward and tell the whole story to the public, but he wants the president to free his son from a life term in prison he is serving for murder. Once he does that, Kelly will tell all.

Nina tells Jack that she knows he's still working for CTU. Jack tells her that if she keeps shooting her mouth off, she'll get killed. Nina tells him that it doesn't matter, because Ramon will kill them both once he has the virus. Ramon comes in and uncuffs Nina. He tells his guard to kill Nina first if anything goes wrong.

Chase reports to CTU that the meeting is about to take place. Tony tells Michelle to get the Delta team ready.

12:27 A.M.-12:35 A.M.: Kim calls Tony and tells him that she needs to talk to him about Chloe's baby. Tony wants to wait, but Kim says it's important.

Sherry calls Palmer and tells him about Kelly and his proposition. Palmer says he'll think it over and hangs up. Wayne tells Palmer that he can't abuse the power of his office by pardoning a murderer. He should let Wayne resign and cut Sherry lose. Palmer reminds him that he was willing to pay blackmail money earlier in the day to protect him, but Wayne says he only has his best interests at heart, while Sherry does not.

Tony meets with Kim and Kim tells him about Chloe's baby. Kim says she called Child Protective Services, but there was no abuse complaint filed. She fears Chloe is delusional and that they should call the police. Tony isn't happy about the situation, but says that they need Chloe for their operation. He tells Kim to hold off notifying the police until later.

Sherry goes back to find Kelly, only to discover that he has disappeared. His trailer has been trashed and she finds blood on the wall. She hurries outside to her car and franticly searches in her purse for her keys. Suddenly, headlights turn on and a car moves toward her. Sherry panics, but it turns out that its only an elderly couple who drive on past. Sherry finds her keys and leaves.

Chase reports that Amador has arrived at the mine. He tells Tony that the Delta team are 90 seconds away and will only come in after they confirm that Nina has the virus. Amador enters and finds Nina. Nina tells Amador that she'll transfer the funds to his account once she confirms that he's given her the actual virus. Amador hands her the glowing cylinder with the virus. Nina places it inside a device and tells him that it will take five minutes to verify that the virus is real.

12:39 A.M.-12:46 A.M.: Tony gets a call from Wayne Palmer, who tells him that the Pentagon is angry about not being kept in the loop. Palmer reminds Tony that he, Gael and Jack will take the consequences once the operation is over. Tony tells Wayne that he needs to focus on the operation, but Wayne wants to be briefed on what's happening. Tony explains how the exchange will work, but Wayne is apprehensive about the outcome. Meanwhile, Chase reports that the virus has been verified and Michelle orders the Delta team to go in.

Nina confirms that the signatures match and starts to take the virus, but Amador tells her he can't give it to her until she gives him the money. He takes the cylinder back from her and turns his back. Nina calls her bank and transfers the funds to him. Amador hands her a case and leaves. Nina follows soon after, carrying the case. Michelle orders a Delta team to pick up Amador.

Chase continues to report on the exchange, but suddenly his audio gets fuzzy. Chloe starts modulating the frequency and finally brings the audio back, after a brief panic by staff.

Nina brings the case to Ramon and Jack. Ramon takes the case and looks inside to make sure the cylinder is there. Jack tells Ramon they should leave, but Ramon pulls a gun on Jack and tells him he doesn't need him anymore, accusing him for the death of his brother. Chase sees that Ramon is about to kill Jack. Knowing that the Delta team won't get there in time, he takes a shot and hits Ramon in the shoulder. Ramon's men open fire as the Delta team arrive and returns fire. Nina runs off into the woods as Jack grabs a gun and shoots at Salazar's men. Ramon is still holding the case and takes off into the woods. Jack sees him run and takes off in pursuit.

12:51 A.M.-1:00 A.M.: Julia Milliken gets a call from Sherry. She tells Julia that she knows what she's going through, but that she can help Julia keep everything she has while breaking free of Alan. Sherry tells Julia to meet her somewhere, but Julia can't leave without making Alan suspicious. Sherry says she'll come over and hangs up before Julia can object.

Jack is still tracking Ramon when he is intercepted by Chase and the Delta team. Jack tells Chase that their priority is the virus and not Ramon. The men split up and Jack and Chase catch up with Ramon, who is tending to his wound. Jack orders Ramon to drop the virus as a helicopter spotlight beam pins him. Ramon holds up the cylinder and tells Jack to back off. Ramon says he won't go back to jail and Jack says he'll cut him a deal, since all they want is the virus. Ramon starts to give in, but suddenly a high-pitched squeal emits from the cylinder and it explodes in Ramon's face, throwing Jack and Chase to the ground.

Jack and Chase get up and Jack calls Tony, telling him that they don't have the virus and that the cylinder was rigged with a bomb. Tony asks if Nina pulled a fast one, but Jack knows that Amador ripped them off because the bomb was meant for Nina.

The Delta team catches up with Amador's jeep and forces him to stop. The Delta commander orders Amador out of the jeep. Amador glances over at some trees and three men blast down the Delta team with machine guns. Amador drops his sat phone and stomps on it, gets into his jeep and drives away.

Michelle tells Tony that the Delta team was just ambushed. Adam reports that they just lost Amador's signal and there's no other way to trace him. Tony relays the information to Jack and he tells Chase that they have to find Nina.

Amador takes the real virus cylinder out of his jacket and glances at it before placing it in its case.
