The slowness even seeps into the second episode of S3, and I am just bored here. Jack and Chase head to a drug den after they pick up on a lead, but is it great "24"? I don't think so.Over at the prison, Ramon gets his screentime when District Attorney Luis Annicon grills him about the pen murder. Instead of giving a formal answer, Ramon decides to threaten Annicon's family, and ends up getting choked. Kind of a funny scene.Palmer and his clique are so dull.Jack finds out that Chase and Kim are dating. You know, Kim's subplot in S2 was garbage, and some of the odor of that garbage is clearly wafting unwantedly into S3 here. In other words, this storyline sucks. There's a virus threat going on, and Kim and Michelle have some "relationship talk." What kind of crap is this? But there is one startling development here: it is revealed that one of Hector's henchmen is actually a mole working for CTU. Now that was a good one.Despite a nice chase scene, this episode has a real "been there, done that" feel to it. The writers are clearly struggling, but faith should not be lost. S3 pays off eventually. Hang tough.Hourly Highlight:"Shut up, stupid!"moreless

We have some proguess but things continue to be slower.

So slow motion, that Kim managed to be in various scenes. This episode continue to build details to be able to bring great pay off and everyone can notice this.

There are the same plot as we already saw. Biological Threat substitute the Nuclear Threat, Palmer adminstration plot continues, but are more weaker this time, and of course, we have a new mole, that is unexpected, but is incredible how CTU can have some many moles.

So.. we have the idea from last episode what is going to happen and now all little leads lead to that direction on slow motion. We learn why Jack is having his problems and there seems to be interesting story behind that. Is that what affected his relationship with Kate? Kim and Jack's partner's storyline seems to be interesting too. All those personal loses Jack has to take for his work and now Kim... all he said was so right.

And if we think CTU is safe place, we are wrong. We learn at the end that the man behind the curtain works in CTU. they will get hurt..

Plamer storyline is not exciting but there seems to be much coming.moreless

  • Hmmm...

This season is pretty blah so far, and has a lot of things that have been done already. e.g. biological threat to L.A instead of nuclear; moles here and there; people plotting behind Palmer's back.

I didn't see it coming that Hector's friend was working in CTU!! But it is a little weird that he could get away with this without someone noticing. And how did he get a secret room? I'm quite intrigued to see what is in that book about Palmer's girlfriend though. Could she be another Sherry?

I agreed with Jack's opinion on the Kim and Chase relationship, but I didn't agree with how he binned Chase because of him going out with her. Overall, this episode had far too much Kim in it for my liking. I really hope she doesn't get kidnapped again...

Quote of the hour! Wayne Palmer: David, I'm not talking about pulling a Sherry and stealing it.moreless

    8.9
    "Great"
In this second episode... the story continiues... now one hour later... We can see all good and bad things that happened to Jack and that are related to the virus. The president gets to know that his girlfriend Anne may be against him... He gets to read that part, after his brother finaly turns him to.
Kyle is still trying to get the drugs and get cash, but Jack finds out about him and chases him...
Also Kim tells Jack that she's going out with Chase for several months and that their relationship is getting serious.
A great episode with all new things happeningmoreless

    • Palmer: Hey Wayne, you spoke earlier about an opportunity. Wayne: Yeah...yeah. I'm not really sure that's something we need to discuss right now. Palmer: Which means, whatever it is fell through, or you know I'm not going to like it so you're proceeding without me. Wayne: No, that's not it, I just think that because of this threat, I don't want to divert your attention. Palmer: I can walk and chew gum at the same time, what is it? Edit
    • Luis: What is your slimeball brother trying to do? Salazar: Hector? Have you heard from him? How is he? His birthday is coming up next week. I don't even know what to get him. Edit
    • Jack: What the hell do you know? My wife died because of this job. I almost lost Kim too. I'm not going to let that happen again. I will do everything I have to, to protect her. Do you understand me? Everything! Damn it Chase, you can not have a normal life and do this job at the same time. Chase: Are you saying I shouldn't have a relationship with anyone? Jack: That's exactly what I'm saying... and especially with my daughter. Edit
