  • So long, Chandler Plaza! Hellooo, character-altering twist!

Okay, we'll actually see the hotel again in a few hours, but that's beside the point.Jane cooperates and gives Jack a chance to capture her father. Via a phone call that lasts too long, CTU finally gets Saunders' location and goes to arrest him. Unfortunately, the slippery Bigbad has a pretty big ace up his sleeve…This is implied rather early on, but only to throw the viewers off. Are Saunders' people keeping an eye on Jane and Kim, waiting for the right moment to take them hostage? Hey, I'm not one for seeing yet another Kim kidnapping. And huzzah: no Kim kidnapping! Instead, the kidnappee has an emotional connection to Tony Almeida. He must go through what Jack went through during S1's Gaines arc, as Michelle finally leaves the damn hotel and lands herself in another mess. Not as messy a mess as the mess inside the hotel, but still, not a lot of people would want to be in her messy shoes right now. Mess, mess, mess.It almost feels sorta cheap how the writers build up the red herring only to focus on a completely different sleeve-hidden ace entirely. Almost. Sorta. But I'll take it, because as I've said in previous reviews, this IS "24", and one of the greatest shows in the history of the universe must be allowed a break every now and then.Hourly Highlight:Saunders nonchalantly strolling down the street, with a bunch of CTU and LAPD units none the wiser.moreless

  • Hunting!!!

Logic/Details - So, this episode leads to Hunt Saunders. Was not difficult for the writers to managed this episode, since the Hotel Plaza plot is finally over for now. This lead to another focus which is the involvement of Saunders and Tony. Scenes like Kim and Saunders daughter were only to buy more time. Even some scenes with Palmer managed to do that. So, if this is about to buy time even Adam has his time on screen just because his sister was one of the infected.

Progress - Saunders daughter Helped and Jack hunt Saunders but since there is 4 episodes to end this season, this was not possible yet.

Emotions/Stimulation/Highlights - Knowing about Michelle results make you feel relief, Tony action here was understandable Ending - Good build up for the next episode.

Overall - This episode continues to structure the many way that Jack and CTU try to find Saunders, but in every way, the leads fails and they have to restart again and go after another lead. In My opinion, 6 continues to fit this episodes well.moreless

So, now when Jack has Saunder's daugther and he is free to use it against him. They even find a way as even if the girl denies everything first, Jack does find a way and when she makes a call to his father, they are able to get his location. Hunt for Saunder is on.

But things get even more exciting as Saunder is not planning to leave the place he is in and seems not even a bit worried. We all have to ask why and when he mentions something about taking her in phonecall I think we all are sure this is Kim.

On the other storyline Michelle finally gets her test results and she is clean. She has amazingly moving phonecall with Tony and it just leads to the end of the episode - the have taken Michelle and Tony has to do what he is asked in order to not to lose it. Wow.. that was something..moreless

Another episode with a great surpring twist at the end of it. Without Palmer at his disposal to give into his needs, Saunders pulls a sting operation to capture Michelle Dessler and opts to use Tony Almedia to allow him to safely walk into the unknown. I thought this was great writing and should provide with the final confrontation between Jack and Saunders within the next two or three episodes. I dont know whats going to happen once Jack finds out about Tonys involvement in letting Saunders go, but I can assume that Jack and David will not be happy of the devolopment in light of what is going on. Since Jack Bauer still has Jane Sauners, I can assume a trade will be set up so that Michelle can be traded for Jane. This episode was pretty action actions throughout, with no more boring storylines clogging up the episodes. Sherry Palmer is out of the scenerios and there is no more Alan Milikin mess. Kim is on her way back to CTU where she will regain her normal duties. Overall, a very well written episode.moreless

Jack detains Saunders' daughter and she is brought to CTU. President David Palmer finds himself underfire from the press. Tony becomes a liability to CTU when his personal life is compromised. This episode pulls surprises that will keep the suspense from faltering. The action in this episode is really good. The suspense is really riveting, the writers came up with a good way to emphasize the action and the dramatic scenes. This is a really great episode, I had so much fun watching it. The action was exciting, it didn't look like it was slow. The suspense just kept on coming.moreless
