I enjoyed this episode all the way through from start to finish. The writing is top notch this season as it has been for the previous four seasons. Peter Weller is excellent as the evil Christopher Henderson, Mary Lynn Rajskub is just as excellent as Chloe O'Brian and of course, Kiefer Sutherland continues to shine as Jack. The suspense just never let up and I guarantee that after watching this episode you won't be able to wait for the next one.moreless

What I liked - The tension in this episode, the gun fight, that Audrey and Chloe were clever. Vice " President attitude.

What I Didnt Liked - Miles.

Action - (8/10). Another gun fight, more weaker than the last episode, but it was nice anyway.

Drama - (8/10). The Man of the Bank, poor guy, why the writes decided to kill him? Also what happened to Evelyn?

Suspense/Tension - (9/10). Audrey running, Chloe helping her and Jack in another difficult situation, the tension was very good in this episode.

    Surprises/Shocks - Dont expect anything.

Time and Scene Management - (9/10). In this episode it is hard to notice any scene that was there to buy time.

Plot Details/Holes- (9/10). President Logan action is more explained during in his conversation with Henderson.

Beginning - (9/10). The usual beginning of 24.

Complication Phase - (8/10). Things are complicated in every side: Chloe, Audrey and Jack.

Climax - (8/10). The gun fight was great.

Ending - (7/10). The usual ending that leads to the next mini plot.moreless

So this is how the writers are gonna fill out the rest of the season? Tight!
With the whole President Evil angle, Jack doesn't waste time rallying as many allies as he can at CTU. Which is Audrey and Chloe. In other words, he doesn't make any new friends this hour, except for Carl Mossman, but that doesn't last long, and it was a "Nelson and Martin in Shelbyville" kind of friendship anyway.
Jack goes rogue like nobody's business as we follow his and Wayne's mission to break into a bank and retrieve a recording that can bring Logan to justice, while Henderson and Logan himself take measures to stop them. So the next few hours of the season will revolve around a piece of digital evidence that must be sent to the right people through the constant grab attempts of the bad guys. That's not a plot rehash at all!
But as I have said, no season-to-season comparison here. Keeping in mind the big twist we just had, this episode is hunky-dory. And after Jack saved that little girl at the Sunrise Hills Mall, Henderson's actions are quite an atonement (even if we don't get to see them). And the weirdo 007-esque musicit's weirdo 007-esque music! You don't hate that!

    Hourly Highlight:
I bet Miles WOULD like to know what Chloe was doingmoreless

So, it is on - they are after the president and it does not go easy when your opponent has all the possible ways to get to you - Chloe and Audrey have to get Homeland security off Audrey's tail.. and Chloe almost gets to the problem with it but walks away saftly.. Jack has to use some extreme measures to get to the bank and it costs one man's life but it all ends up that leaving a little girl alone with her mom who is wounded is not a good idea.

And the end.. oh.. it was promising. I have my hopes high for next one..moreless

This was a pretty good episode, from all 3 sidestorys. President Logans involvment all along is coming along a little better then I expetced. He never meant to harm the country and it doesnt sound like he really wanted President Palmer to be killed. I liked his role in this episode. The CTU cover up of Audrey and Chole went well as well. Choles sarcastic "Do you want me to write a report about it" coming out the restroom was briallant.

Jacks scenes are always good and the infultraion of the bank owners house was great. It was kind of dissapointing that the bank owner died randomly, he could have lived and I would have been a little happier with the episode. All in all, Season 5 is shaping up to be the best on yetmoreless
