What I liked -» Aaron is ok, that is enough, for a season where the writers are killing every important character that you may like. Aaron and Logan conversation.

What I Didn´t Liked -» Bierko is free again. Almost the same for Henderson and is deal.

Action - » (7/10). Little action, but don’t expect anything great.

Drama - » Don’t expect anything Suspense/Tension - » (7/10). The writers tried to create the tension with Henderson, but overall, this wasn´t at least great.

Surprises/Shocks - » (6/10). Bierko escaped, nothing new here or surprising enough. Time and Scene Management - » (7/10). For a episode that is a filler plus setup, the management wasn´t bad. Can entertain you.

    Plot Details/Holes- » (8/10)................

Beginning - » (7/10). The usual beginning, following the consequences.

Complication Phase - » (7/10). Nothing different from the same formula â€" we don´t know where the terrorist his and where the attack will occur, so we make a deal with another terrorist to find a clue where the main terrorist his and what he will do.

Climax - » (7/10). When the action took place.

Ending - » (7/10). The usual ending, the bad guys are making their move.
  • One last try by the terrorists..

So.. Logan has succeeded on his plan and the threat is out, so he gets more breathing space and lets people around run him their own agendas.. Martha finds Aaron and saves him.. oh, that was good.. I do not know but somehow that storyline caught me from the start of this season and I have really kept my fingers crossed that they all come alive from that.

On CTU Jack has to makes a deal with Henderson and they have to let him on a house alone.. they are afraid that he will ruin it and storm it not realizing that he was having a plan.. Anyway, they got it is all about a submarine and try to worn it but it is too late.. terrorist got it..

Just two more episodes to go.. I do not know.. even thought all the good storylines, I was expecting something better..
  • Out of gas (not literally)

Ah, Formula. How I've missed you. NOT!

CTU is forced to forget about the Logan thing when Bierko escapes and plans another attack using (ta-da!) his last Sentox canister. Guess this is just the reason that the writers kept him alive instead of having him go down in flames. Yes, I'm kidding myself.

You all know the drill: Henderson works with CTU to track down a lead and find out what Bierko's up to. Henderson and Jack working together is a nice twist, but for the most part, I don't want to talk about the crap that happens there. Let's skip to what Bierko's up to: commandeering a Russian submarine to launch missiles around the West Coast. Hey, it still doesn't seem to me like the writers are trying to top themselves, so shut it.

I'll tell you what is consistent in quality here: the Logans and their mishaps. While dealing with Bierko, Logan reverts back to the wimpy version of pre-11:00 PM, but there's something more interesting going on: Pierce is back. And Martha saves him from certain death, then decides to bring her husband down! This story development starts the plot thread that leads us to the finale, so keep watching.

    Hourly Highlight:

"Is there anything else…Charles?" Pierce pwns the UNIVERSE!!!!!
  • A little garbled, but there's some good stuff heading into the finale.

    "Good"
While last episode had a more transitional feel, this one was more about setting stage for the grand finale (some may say that’s the same thing). The cat and mouse game between Logan and Jack was really great to watch, but unfortunately, they got to the point where it was completely illogical for Logan to be using his resources to track Jack openly. However, it seems like they may have put too much on the table with Bierko on the loose. With a show like 24, the writers must’ve felt they needed more action, even with the political conspiracies being rich with drama.

The episode starts with them addressing the tape being erased. Unfortunately for the format of 24, there’s little the writer of a new episode can do to work around the shortcomings of certain plot points. I’m not going to fault this episode for that, since the aftermath was quick and it gave us not one, but two Miles smackdowns. Jack throttling him was expected, but seeing Karen get a smack in wasn’t, making it rather satisfying.

Like they did with Nina back in season two, they had to come up with a way to get Jack and Henderson to work together to stop Bierko from striking. We don’t need to go over why Jack wants to kill Henderson, or why the lack of trust between the two would be problematic. But Henderson is a little naïve in his belief that Jack and the cavalry wouldn’t come rushing in as soon as he told Malina to destroy whatever evidence he had if they didn’t know he was putting it on a storage device. Obviously he’s not on anyone’s favorites list, but why not explain to someone who isn’t so personally invested in killing him what he’s about to do?

This gives us a little bit of character for Jack. He’s had to give immunity to someone who betrayed him and killed someone he cared about before, and he wasn’t willing to do it again. Karen wisely reminded Jack of Palmer, and how he would go through with it for the greater good. We saw an instance of that in the season four finale, as he granted Mandy her pardon (speaking of which, where is she?)

Henderson’s demand not only for immunity, but to disappear like Jack did so they won’t find him is a nice nod to his earlier use of the recording as insurance should the conspirators find him not useful anymore. Even if the tape only implicated Logan, there was enough weight on it to possibly topple everything. These conspirators have been proven to be very powerful, with people all over the government that could make Henderson have an accident or “commit suicide”.

Henderson even hints at that during Jack’s offer. Had he not said anything, CTU would’ve been completely clueless as to who appears to be the real masterminds behind the day’s attacks. It would be too risky to have President Logan himself actively getting into bed with the terrorists/conspirators and it wouldn’t fit his character. He needed people like Henderson and Graham doing the dirty work for him so they can deflect responsibility. One can hope that Graham and his co-horts don’t wind up like Max from season two, forgotten after a monster cliffhanger.

Pierce, after being absent a few episodes, comes back in a big way. His forgotten cell phone on the compound lawn was an indicator that something went wrong, but little was mentioned as to what since then. Pierce has been through a lot already, but now he has been beaten and held in an empty room in the stables. However, he is far from out.

While Pierce is known for being professional, respectful of orders and loyal, he is also a man of honor. There’s no way he would accept Logan’s smarmy offer to work anywhere but on his detail. That makes Pierce’s condemnation, capped with the perfect “Charles?”, a cheer inducing moment. This was improvised, but it fits the character. Glen Morshower as Pierce has had a juicy role this season, so he knows this character better than ever.

The botched hit on Pierce shakes Martha out of her heavily medicated complacency. She was willing to stay quiet for the sake of the country, added to her perception that what Logan was involved in seemed to be already done. But with someone she’s grown close to in the past 24 hours in immediate danger, she knew there was too much to ignore. There have been some sparks between Martha and Pierce all season, and this is probably the closest they’ll get to satisfying any shippers. It also finally gives Novick enough reason to side with the counter conspiracy.

At this point, Bierko’s attack on a Russian sub feels like an afterthought. There is evidence of the writers making it up on the fly because Bierko gave no hint that they decided to hold one of the canisters for a contingency plan. Last season, we had about the last quarter of the season devoted to Marwan obtaining a nuclear warhead and sending it flying straight toward LA. Bierko manages to get there in about an hour. As a result, it comes off as rushed, like in the ending where it only takes about ten seconds to contaminate the sub and kill its crew. This nitpick does take a backseat to the high stakes it raises for the two hour finale that would air the following week.

Despite some of the garbled nature of the narrative, this episode does a good job of setting up the players in interesting scenarios for the final act. It has been one of the most devastating days for 24, which has made it very entertaining, and there are still two hours left!

This episode was originally scripted to have Aaron Pierce killed by one of Logan's agents but, Actor Glenn Morshower recommended that his character remain alive- not because he wanted to keep his job but because he felt it helped the story for his character to remain alive. They rewrote the script having Aaron be saved by Martha Logan and Mike Novick. Im glad they opted not to kill Aaron in this episode. I think that his role in the remaining episodes helped them to be as good as they were. I think that this episode was a filler for the remaining two episodes, it was still good though.

bierko escapes, jack bauer gets help from agent pierce. mike novick helps out. miles shows his true colors, he's a conniving snake. he gets in a way of jack bauer's plan to bring down president logan. this is another great episode, so much drama and action goes in here. it keeps you guessing, it keeps you wanting for more. they made a really cool episode. the action was relentless, it's fast paced. jack's plan to go after the president brings emotion to the show, you keep wondering how his going to make it, but the writers always come up with good things.
  • Never thought I'll say it: this 24 episode was boring.

    4.3
    "Poor"
the main prob with some of the 24 eps is that the writers dont know how the season's gonna end at all when they start writing. they just surprise eachother with the new plans.

this is a fine example for the bad, unorganized writing. while this episode has some good action, its predictable, and, repetative. Bierko and his gas, well, they just cant get rid of eachother. hm well im glad that at least Henderson is off the picture, he was annoying AND repetative aswell.

all in all, this was an unnceccesery filler episode, which i, kinda hate, cuz it bored me.
  • The tape is gone, Bierko escapes, Jack is forced to team up with Henderson and The First Lady saves the day (part of it)

    8.8
    "Great"
After 5+ hours looking for the tape (an effort that included Evelyn and her daughter, a bank manager, Secretary Heller almost killing himself, a mid-air hijacking, and The US President ready to take his own life) out the blue Miles decides to help out crooked Logan... Geez i believe this whole storyline was just a set up for things to come...

With Bierko on the loose, Jack now has to team up with Henderson in order to catch him before is too late... Jack reluctance to go along with this plan is genuine but strikes me as odd that he fails to mention the most significant of Henderson's victims, Tony Almeida. Jack already took out Palmer's actual shooter and Heller apparently survived... So why would the writers left this out???

Aaron's whereabouts are revealed... he's been subject to torture at the hands of fellow secret service agent under Logan's orders. The exchange between Pierce and Logan is powerful and dramatic as Aaron proves is willing to die than let Logan get away with murder. Logan's reaction although muted reveals that Pierce is right. As Agent Pierce fate is sealed, enter Martha Logan and saves the day... Who knows what'll with those two... 2 hours and counting...

  • It's an okay episode, but the story is starting to drag a lot...

    7.9
    "Good"
I have to admit that I'm starting to get tired of this whole storyline with the tape and the nerve gas and all that... They should have written it so that they get the tape in the second last episode, expose the president in the last and then let the season end. It just felt too annoying that they decided to drag it out like this.

I'm glad to see that Aaron is still alive though. Let's hope he will survive the season. Let's not hope he gets together with Martha. Aaron already has a family and he does not strike me as the kind of guy who would walk out on them.

Oh my god. What a great episode!!!!

it was fantasic!!!from start to finish, it was 24 at a level i though it could never reach after tony died!!!it was a nearly perfect episode[9.9 folks] but tonys lack of presence made it not so perfect.

henderson was great.was he really helpin ctu with the computor files?i think not , abut only time will till[ or not, i could just be very cynical, which , you know, happens after 5 seasons of 24 where anyone except jack [ or tony in my opinion] can be a traitor]

Watch at your peril, its brillance could kill you.

But then again, if you dont, Mr bauer may..........
  • Great episode, sets us up perfectly for the series finale but the writers have taken their eye off the details that they made us pay so much attention to earlier in the series.

    "Superb"
I\'m a huge 24 fan and this episode has set us up perfectly for the 2 hour series finale. 24 is by far the greatest TV show ever to grace our screens but I\\\'m concerned that something which was stressed so often earlier in the series was ignored by the writers in this episode, showing they\\\'ve taken their eye of the ball so to speak.

In episode 4 when Erwich takes control of the cannisters there are clearly 20 there and this is confirmed on many occasions by CTU. 1 cannister was used at the mall, 1 in the hospital and 1 at CTU leaving 17 cannisters. In episode 15 at the Gas distribution centre when Bierko sets off the cannisters you can see on the screen there are 17 cannisters, so where the hell did this extra cannister come from that was used on the submarine?!?

I\\\'m delighted Agent Pierce is still alive and he and Mike Novick will be the key players now in bringing down Logan. I look forward to seeing how Jack and Henderson will operate together but I think it will be a little far fetched if all runs smoothly.

Still a great episode and I look forward to the finale. 24 hasn\\\'t lost it\\\'s touch for keeping you in suspense but it has at times shown that the writers don\\\'t plan too far ahead.
  • Jack continues to find evidence proving Logan is behind everything. The whereabouts of Aaron are revealed & Aaron confronts Logan. Bierko escapes & hijacks a sub.

This episode was excellent. The writing was awesome. The whole bit between Logan & Aaron is one of the best. My altime favorite line of 24, "Is there anything else...Charles?" Love it! It's about time someone put this guy in his place. I was like YESS!!!!!! For awhile I wanted to throw up everytime Logan would be on the screen, but then I realized the sooner or later they are going to stop him, once & for all.

Can't wait for the final 2 episodes. Logan is going down! And all I can say is, "About time."

This episode has been a trial on my nerves!

Amazing. I can't belive it's almost the end... it feels like it could go on for another 24 hours. Suddenly we're back with Bierko, Henderson, Bill back at CTU!! And the side story of Martha and Aaron - Loved it!!

Will Kim come back? I wish!!
  • With only two episodes left everything seems to be solved wait what happened the recording was erased. Oh no looks like the ending is just beginning!

Just when everyone though everything was perfect and that the next to episodes will show Logan getting impeached and Jack enjoying a cup of coffee we find out that the most and only piece of evidence against Logan has been erased! And just when nothing could get worse Berko escapes (well they didn't kill him before for something logically). And then when Henderson helps Jack, everything is ruined...by JAck? Finally not only has Berko escaped he had one more nerve canister (remeber thoses toxic things in the beggining of the season way back when) which he uses to kill a few people in a ship, which (logically) he takes hostage for its nulear weapons to take out a major target with.

Just when we though everything was over..the ending was just beginning...and we only got 2 hours for a conclusion. Jack the clock is ticking:

    2:00:00

    1:59:59

    1:59:58

    1:59:57
  • Only one more episode

With two hours and only one episode there is still much to be decided on 24. But then again we are used to that. How bad is the President going to get it, and how many others around him are going down also. I want to know and I want to know now. Jack working with Henderson was fun to watch. The president being worse and worse is fun to watch. Aaron and the first lady are fun to watch. I think this whole season is great and many more to come. Everyone should be watching.
  • Only 2 more episodes left! and another nerve gas canister to start it off with. the day keeps getting better!

Alright Valdimir Bierko is back in play! so far the 5th season of 24 was the best so far, with the death of palmer, michelle, tony. Man the thrills just keep on coming. jack only has 2 more hours to end this whole nightmare and he is bound to be named the aboslute "bad-ass" on tv! way to go. lets see where 5-6am takes us and then the big fianle!

but im still wondering whether or not if chase will be back and when the chinese find out jack is still alive.....

    only 2 left!!
  • Everything falls apart in this episode. Martha kills an SS agent after Aaron is about to get wacked and Bierko escapes.

    9.4
    "Superb"
This episode is obviously setting up for the last two hours of this season. I saw the Bierko escape coming, but another cannister. Hmmm... I never saw it coming. That sucks about the captain of the sub and all the men on board the submarine. When I saw what was happening, I thought these terrorists really know how to get past security and use their tools and resources to maximize their destructive capabilities.

Aaron was definitely not reassigned in the middle of the night. I hate Logan. He is despicable as a president. I don't understand how he thinks he is still doing the right thing.

Mike will come in the clutch no doubt by helping bring down Logan once he finds out. Also, where's the Vice President and why don't we know who Graham is yet.

I like how Henderson says that, "you can't touch these people, but they can touch you." It is truly a magnificent quote. I recently saw Peter Weller (Henderson) give his input in a history channel show and he was still evil sounding and serious looking. The scene where Henderson tries to get the information is frustrating to watch because you think he is going to betray Jack and then he makes it out that he was actually going to get the evidence on a CD to make everything easier. I think either way, Henderson would win because if the evidence was lost, Jack lost, but if he got the evidence, Jack would trust him more (and eventually help him disappear).

The next two hours are expected to be intense, but how will Jack get to the terrorists, especially if they dive; and knowing the terrorists, they can operate a sub.

Jack discovers to his horror that the recording implicating Logan has been erased. Damn it Cleo, how could you fail him so? Jack gives her a father’s head shake of disapproval and if Cleo wasn’t an emotionless automaton, she would have broken down in tears. Miles all but admits that he erased the tape and now plans to work directly for the President. Before you go Miles, Jack would like a word. Out of the way security guards or I’ll punch you in the throat. The guards stand back as Jack nonchalantly begins to choke Miles to death. Bauer, you may be violating every rule that CTU has, but damn it if you don’t get results.

When Jack learns that Bierko has manages to escape holding and now plans to commit another attack on the US, he must cut a deal with Henderson. Henderson is a pretty cool character because he knows Jack and can anticipate his every move. It’s like watching Obiwan and Darth Vader having Sunday brunch together; except with more manly grunts and less terribly written dialog. Henderson wants Jack to give him his word that he won’t kill him and then to help him disappear. In return he will provide Jack with one of Bierko’s contacts and help bring Bierko down. “You have to promise not to kill me Jack. Remember I’m in your head and I know you want to cross your fingers, but your sophisticated spy games won’t work on me!”

Henderson leads Jack to some random computer programmer and a gun fight ensues. Curtis is the only one that manages to get hit. Minus ten badass points for showing weakness in front of the Bauer. From the computer guy, Jack learns that Bierko planned to use his last remaining canister of gas to attack a Russian sub and then take control of its weapons systems.

Back at the Presidential compound Logan has finally tied up his loose ends. Agent Pierce is all that is left to implicate him to today’s events. He goes to meet with him and tries to cut a deal with him to remain silent. “I’m a patriot sir. I despise traitors like you Charles. Note that I said Charles instead of Mr. President. It donates that I don’t respect you anymore and plan on banging your wife behind your back **** Logan calls some goons to deal with Aaron, but Martha comes to the rescue and kills his would be assassin.

Logan is all proud of himself and brags to Graham when Mike interrupts him to tell him about the latest threat posed by Bierko. “The Russians again; you got to be **** kidding me. Can’t a man gloat in peace?

Parting Thought: Could that sub have had less security on it? Russians, always so lazy

I have suspended my demand for plot sense a couple of episodes back, but this one just absolutely push the incredibility quotient way up!

Come on, a submarine, surfaced and parked in a non military dockyard without security... and only if the Lieutenant stay put, locked in, nobody would have to go through - except the writers, they need a last minute, last ditch effort to pull back from a series that is basically disappointing. I am wondering just how far the fans' interest can be sustained by Jack's heroics alone!

This time they don't even stage Bierko's escape - what we have is just some intel, quick switch to the mayhem scene, and conviniently with one survivor to provide further leads.

More plot holes - Jack certainly breakin very easily into the bad guy's holed-up - from the roof, at least with all those high tech security measures, the bad guy is not so dumb as to not at least a CTV on the roof top!

So 5x22 just woosh along, hurried as the clock ticks towards the final hours, forget logic and drama, let's just bombard the audience with loadful of senseless sounds and sights!

There is quite a bad taste in the mouth for this. Not even Super Jack could save the lack of clever plot.

Tried as I may to concentrate on the action scenes, Jack's heroics, but one can only go as far. Without the drama, sensible plot lines, the series would just degenerate into some B-grade action movie - my fervant hope it doesn't come to that for my favorite series.

I hope they do better for 5x23 and 24! Jackishly and sincerely!

Despite the (as yet unexplained) erasure of the evidence Jack has been chasing for the last 4 episodes the pace doesn't relent. One minute Logan had convinced me he had won the battle and then we find out Bierko escapes. I can't really imagine it but here goes anyway, if I was a pissed off terrorist who had just taken control of a non-nuclear sub and knew the location of my enemy - what would I do?. Hmmm. Perhaps if we are really lucky, Miles will have arrived just as the missiles start to rain down on the Presidential retreat.

Aaron Pierce makes a welcome return to action in this episdode, we see him battered and bloodied as 'Charles' proposes a deal. The offer is rejected out of hand by the patriotic agent, foolhardy perhaps, but there is no doubt now that this man has balls of steel and luck to match. Martha Logan, the First Lady, frags her first combatant whilst saving Agent Pierce. That now puts her equal with ex-marine Wayne Palmer, unbelievable, I bet she does the President next.

I have only one more thing to say: Christopher Henderson - don't believe his lies.
  • Building up to next weeks finale! This episode presents us with a last minute threat and contains some strong character development.

    "Superb"
This episode was excellent, perhaps not as strong as previous episodes this season but was on par with the standard of it.

The high points were Logan confronting Pierce, that weasel Miles getting almost what he deserves, the mention of \"telling Mike Novick everything\" which makes me look forward to a brilliant Novick/President confrontation scene next week.

Low points, in my opinion were that the whole \"Henderson situation\" is similar to the \"Nina situation\" in season 2

Can\'t wait for the 2 part finale, things that are to happen that we know of that I can\'t wait for are as follows:

Palmers body will be loaded onto a plane for 7am (as mentioned in previous episodes)

Novick will find out about Logan

Henderson - will he live to the end of the day?
  • The writers are did a great job keeping everything new and exciting.

I was very pleased to see that Aaron Pierce is still alive. But I am even more pleased to see that he didn't give in to Logan and he stood his ground. Having the First Lady come in and save him worked out well. Now it is time for him and Jack to take down Logan in the finale next week.

I loved the whole Navy/ submarine part. It is great to see that 24 is still new and is trying different things. I can't wait to see Jack storm the sub and prevent Bierko from launching the missiles. Great season.
  • I will sit through 20 minutes of boring real presidental politics to watch 60 "fake" minutes of 24 any day!

was it just me or did the Bierko escape/ attack seem a little deus ex maachina? I missed a little bit of last weeks episode so i may be wrong.

that being said, I LOVE this show. I was SO delighted to see jack chocking the **** out of Miles. he's such a weasly little turd. "I work for the White Ho......urk" (jack chokes out punk)

Jean smart kills a dude, and Aaron returns! hooray!

Evil president Nixo...er Logan is now back in the good graces of the evil illuminati.

Evil Russians are taking over a sub? okay....hard to believe they are settling after controlling both a Mall and an airport.

oh well, good times as usual in 24-land.

I can't wait for the finale, over 119 minuts of fun.

When I started this episode, I was excited (having missed last week's plane crash episode), but I was a little disappointed. not so much that I didn't thoroughly enjoy the show, I just was a little miffed. As soon as Logan declared that Jack could go free, red flags should have gone off in Mike's head about Logan's actions. And a Secret Service member would never have called the first lady (especially one as professional as Aaron) by her first name, but she did finally get to shoot someone instead of standing around looking pitiful... so we get to Bierko - who's been where for the last 6 hours? I would have thought that they would have interrogated him about Logan's involvement, but that's me.

Other than the little things that make me go, "huh?", this was a great episode setting up for the finale. Hopefully, someone shoots Logan. Preferably Logan himself.
  • The First Lady guns down a rogue Secret Service Agent! It doesn\'t get much better than that!

Where do I start??? Aaron is alive and ready to help the First Lady hide a body. Jack has to work with a man who tried to kill him just a few hours ago. Jack gets to almost choke the life out of Miles. Audrey is back in fighting form. Curtis gets shot..and takes it like a man. Aaron calls the president \"Charles\" in the most degrading (and deserved!) way.

24 is flat-out, hands-down, THE best show ever. When Martha shot the bad secret service agent I was cheering so loud I thought the neighbors might hear me... :)

So, just who are these people I like to call the Bluetooth Gang, and why cant Jack touch them, according to Henderson? Maybe they aren\'t oil execs after all (as was my previous theory) Maybe they\'re diplomats or UN officials with immunity??? If I were them, I wouldn\'t count on Jack honoring some measly \"diplomatic immunity\" agreement. Jack don\'t play that.
  • Recording lost, Bierko's last cannister of nerve gas (Spoilers)

    9.1

The episode before the two-hour finale always delivers and it didn't disappoint this week. The recording is tampered with and lost. The CTU crew (Jack, Chloe, Bill, even Karen)finds out that Miles was the only one with access to the room with the recording in the past few minutes of the recording being tampered with which sets up a great scene with Jack and Miles.

Jack confronts Miles, and takes care of a CTU guard in the process. We learn that Miles kiss-a$$ attitude has earned him a place in the White House and leaves immediately but not before he gets choked by Jack and slapped by Karen. They have no time to worry about the recording because Bierko has escaped about was overheard talking about another attack concerning the nerve gas.

This leads to Jack talking with his "old friend" Henderson again this time about putting an end to whatever Bierko has up his sleeve. Jack wants Henderson to give up some of Bierko's connects which is like taking candy from a tough baby. Also, Aaron Pierce resurfaces and it looks like he has been through a tough couple of hours. Logan orders Agent Adams to kill him and Martha Logan saves his life by being in the right palace at the right time.

Jack gets a name from Henderson and they check it out ultimately they are able to get the site of Bierko's next attack, they learn it's a submarine with missile access and that it could take out a whole city block potentially. Bierko arrives, drops the nerve gas and subsequentially takes control of the entire sub and the missiles as well. Jack is on his way... Can't wait for next week, which is both the best week of T.V and the worst. No 24 until January is a long wait, thank goodness summer is coming up.

    P.S. Bring back Wayne Palmer!!!
  • Just let Jack shoot the President in the face. Please!

The President talks about covering his tracks, his wife starts intervening. Bierko comes back, and 24 shifts back into terrorist-hunt mode. Jack makes a deal with Henderson and together they try and hunt Bierko.

I think 24 is straying away from the high point of the season, which would be of course the conspiracy. Bierko is more of a distraction/filler than anything else.

The season is lacking, but if they let Jack shoot the President in the head all will be forgiven. It would just be patriotic.
  • The tape was destroyed so the meeting with the Attorney General was called off. Bierko once again becomes a threat, so Jack has to take the help of an unexpected ally. Logan has to deal with other problems in the White House itself.

    "Good"
24 becomes repetitive at times. The same thing has been going on since the last 5 seasons. The last minute twists and turns. Now they don't excite me anymore. The same thing happened again. Why did they have to transport Bierko all of a sudden ? And a murder and a man being held in custody in the White House ! Is this some sort of a joke ? Where is everybody ? It seems White House is totally deserted. What happened to the Vice President ? Where has he disappeared all of a sudden ? Everything is just so cooked up. Atleast they should show something believable.
  • Bierko is back!!!!!

Wow! What an episode it turned out to be. It finally happened... Jack Bauer choked out Miles and then Miles gets slapped by Karen Hayes! Although, the punishment wasn't enough and that I wished it could have been more, it was quite amusing to watch it be done. And is Robocop the only one that could actually fool and confuse the living snots out of Jack Bauer? He seems to be able to do it numerous times. And oh yeah, the First Lady just saved Aaron Pierce's behind. In this episode, Robocop was a completely awesome trying to help out Jack Bauer and CTU, but he wasn't the only cool dude around. Bierko is back and he's out for revenge! Bierko = teh awsnss. And it looks like Bierko is about to do one of his worst plans yet by shooting numerous nuclear missiles out of a naval submarine! Next episode.... Jack Bauer's final confrontation with Bierko and he finally threatens the President of the United States of America!
  • Painful to watch but still very good!

When will someone cut poor Jack some slack? LOL! Sadly though I don't think Jack will have a vacation anytime soon!

He and his love/hate relationship with Henderson still is really an intriguing part of the show but also at least, he(Jack)showed Henderson what he thought of him.

Missles came at Jack as he tries to make sure there won't be another 9/11.
