That climactic "twist" about Audrey is still exploited to the max, so there's one thing I can enjoy. Yes, she finally undergoes what many a viewer have been waiting to see her undergo for far too long: an "aggressive approach"; a "medical interrogation"; a TORTURE SESSION! I think the sight of Jack choking her was satisfaction enough, but whatever works. Mwahaha!
There's that, and there's Bierko about to execute his plan to kill the Los Angeles civilian population via a natural gas distribution center. Call me dense, but this is something else that I didn't really see coming this season. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't figure out how releasing all the remaining Sentox in one place would cause much damage, and watching this episode, I almost smacked myself.
Meanwhile, Wayne and Pierce are chased through the woods by Henderson's men. The reason? We won't find out until the next one. Good to see the writers actually planning ahead somewhat.
But the hour proves to be quite productive indeed, with Jack getting Collette to reveal Bierko's location (so someone gets their immunity revoked, for once? Neat-o!), and still leaving about ten minutes to cram in a nice, explosive action scene at the gas plant. They could have left the plant raid for the next episode, but I guess they just wanted to end the Sentox threat quickly and devote the next hour to the new threat… Wait, that's called "getting ahead of oneself." The final act of this episode is quite something to see, though nobody bought into the so-called cliffhanger, and who's to blame them?

    Hourly Highlight:
Now you know, folks: Jack Bauer can outrun FIRRRE!!!!!!!

  • Dude, wheres my show?

Inferior to the previous episode, the handling of the cliffhanger from the previous episode is very mismanaged and fairly sloppily done. The writing of the episode has plenty of poor/nails on a chalkboard moments, with its only saving grace being the action sequence at the end of the episode. The episode also has one of the most obvious and worst continuity errors in 24 history. The scenes between Sutherland and Raver in the episode are very awkwardly played out. The episode's only rewatchable moments is the action sequence near the end of the episode and Julian Sands finally giving the Bierko character some appeal and range, to bad the audience doesn't see this side of the character again when his character resurfaces later in the season. The cliffhanger for the episode is simple, yet brilliantly done, and is one of the best ones thus far this season.

NOTE: This is just my opinion and mine only. The review wasn't made to insult or anger anyone, its just my opinion and nothing else.
  • This simple episode for me was one of the Best, just simply handled with no deaths and a storyline with a beginning and a end, and the filler scenes very well mixed with the relevant material.

What I liked -» Audrey interrogation and the end or what it seems for the nerve gas plot.

    What I Didn´t Liked -» Hard to say what I didn´t liked

Action - » (9/10). Aaron and Wayne and Jack part is where you have action.

Drama - » (10/10). The drama played here was great, can you feel sorry for Audrey?

Suspense/Tension - » (9/10). The tension played in CTU during the interrogations was great. Aaron and Wayne one scene did that too. The explosion too.

Surprises/Shocks - » (10/10). I really didn´t expected that Bierko could be caught and the verve gas plot would be over in this episode.

Time and Scene Management - » (9/10). Hard to notice any scene that was filler, but you can think that Chloe scene with this new girl can be filler.

Plot Details/Holes- » (10/10). Could notice plot holes, but even the unreal details doesn´t make a scratch.

    Beginning - » (8/10). We started well.

Complication Phase - » (10/10). Could Jack be wrong, like in the past with Nina? Also how CTU could locate Bierko and prevent the attack? You have two complication very well tied.

Climax - » (10/10). Gun fights was the climax for this episode.

    Ending - » (9/10). The classic ending.

This simple episode for me was one of the Best, just simply handled with no deaths and a storyline with a beginning and a end, and the filler scenes very well mixed with the relevant material.

So, time is running out and we know the gas is going to be disturbed and we know where and how but CTU has to figure it out too. Chloe gets new assistance who has some weird background but comes handy and later seems to be even weirder..

Anyway, Jack gets to the gas plant.. and they manage to attack but the main man gets away with a remote control and gas gets free and only way to stop deaths is to blow everything up.. and ofcourse Jack gets some heroic outrun the fire.. much explosion, stylish scenes.. Worth every second..
  • Can Jack Bauer get any cooler?

After finding out that Audrey may have connections to the terrorist Jack interrogates her. He eventually finds out that the only connection she has is that she once slept Walt at a hotel when she thought Jack was dead. Jack believe that Collette was given Audrey's name in case of emergency to frame her, and keep him occupied. Collette's immunity is called off when Chloe finds out she lied about some details with Henderson. Jack gets information out of her which leads to him finding the terrorists at a natural gas distribution center where they plan to release the syntax into the pipelines. The plan is stopped when Jack detonates the pipe and the gas. Meanwhile, Wayne and Pierce have fight for their lives after they are ordered to be killed. I really enjoyed this episode. When Jack was interrogating Audrey you could tell that he didn't want to push her too far. Fortunately for us Audrey wasn't another version of Nina. My favorite part of this episode has to be when Jack was running out of the explosion. It felt very James Bondish. As for the Wayne and Pierce storyline, it had a lot of cool action, but it just wasn't as cool as watching Jack.

This episode was awesome. Jacks interigation of Audrey was great every second. The kiss that concluded it all was even better. The scene where Jack blew up all the gas was great too. The ation seqenece there was pulse pounding until the conclusions, which is what I like to see.

For once Martha and President Logan were left out of the episode, so it has to be good right? Aarons rescue of Wayne Palmer was also good in this episode.

I see no reason this episode wouldnt be one of the best of season 5. It had action and a little romance...perfect
  • great episode.

Jack tries to get answers from Audrey after evidence links her to the terrorists. Wayne and Aaron runs away from a death squad with orders from Henderson to eliminate them. Bierko gets access to a natural gas plant. This is another fast paced episode. Chloe gets to zero in on a natural gas plant that's being used by Bierko to unleash the centox nerve gas. This is a really cool episode, the intrigue keeps on coming, surprises are waiting at every turn. the writers did another good job with this episode, this episode wasn't boring, it was very very exciting.
  • This episode kept me at the edge of my seat!

Wow... This was a really good episode! We were kept at the edge of our seat throughout larger parts of the episode, it was fast paced and thrilling yet had its moments of comedy as well.

That look on Chloe\'s face as she realises Shari thinks everything is sexual harrassment was pure gold. Mary Lynn Rajskub is brilliant as Chloe, talk about hitting the jackpot with this actress.

I\'m glad they\'re keeping the bond between Chloe and Edgar alive on the show, that they didn\'t just dump the character alltogether like they seem to have done with Tony...

I do admit I was a bit worried about Jack there for a while... There are rumors that he will be killed in this season, which I haven\'t given much credit, but you never know... It was like a scene from \"Backdraft\" there for a while, it worked really well!

Audrey is having a bad day... I feel a bit bad for her. What a horrible situation to be in, knowing that someoen will torture you for information you don\'t have. At least we think she doesn\'t have it. You never really know on this show...

    I hope Wayne Palmer survives!

Now that the gas is seemingly taken care of, I wonder what will be going on during the remaining 10 episodes. Exposing the people behind the attack I assume. I still vote that the president is guilty!

Best line of the episode - Jack: Now... I\'m upset.

Actually that might just be the best line of the whole season!

  • The best episode to date that I have seen in this Season [five].

Season 5 - 9pm to 10pm, I live in England so am a bit behind in the episode list. I enjoyed this hour because it had everything in it, Jack at his hero best, saving Audrey and finding the nerve gas then right at the end saving lives. All round entertainment. I noticed an absence from the President and staff in this episode as all the action centered around Jack. The scene where Jack interogates Audrey was particularly good and the acting by both of them very good. Audrey brought tears to my eyes.
  • WOW, just wow one of the best episodes 24 has ever had...

    "Perfect"
WOW, this episode just aired in the UK and it completely blew me away, Im still buzzing now with excitment. Just everything about this episode was perfect. The interigation scene with audry which had just about everything you could ask of 24; furniture moving, jack screaming dammit, a nice close up against the wall, it was just perfect. Then when i thought it couldnt get any better the ending was spectacular, the whole sequence had me on the end of my seat bouncing, it was litterally a rollercoaster ride. This is exactly why i watch 24, people who say it has gone down hill since the first season, have you been watching it?
  • The gas may be done, but it ain\'t over yet.

    "Great"
While this episode finishes the nerve gas threat, it is still a transitional episode, since the American conspiracy is what will drive the story for the rest of the season. It\'s doubtful that there are any more tricks up the Russian\'s sleeves, so now it is up to Jack to disarm a major conspiracy while maneuvering around a back up plan set to distract him.

Since Collette claims she can identify Audrey, why doesn\'t Jack have Chloe, Shari or even Karen pose as Audrey and trick her into identifying the wrong woman? Sure, that type of trick is cliché, but it is a classic for a reason. However, if that happened, we wouldn\'t have the opportunity to vilify Homeland Security for torturing Audrey.

Things between Jack and Audrey were going to be tough after Collette\'s bombshell, but things are worsened when Chloe informs him that Audrey shared a hotel room with Walt. This intimate connection shakes Jack, and likely makes him less sympathetic to her. However, Jack quickly figures that she was embarrassed over her affair and not complicit. There\'s no reason for him to be mad at her: she wasn\'t aware of Walt\'s duplicity when they were involved (Jack can relate to that), and she believed Jack was dead when the affair happened. Although they resolve their problem by the end of the episode, their complicated relationship goes through several phases in the course of an hour. However, the lingering issue over their heads is Jack\'s Chinese involvement. Would Audrey be willing to go into hiding with him? Initial reports indicate yes, but that could change as there are still 9 episodes left.

Despite Jack believing that Audrey is innocent, Karen sees it as Jack letting his sympathy get the best of him. The writer wisely calls back to how Jack was misled by Nina back in season one and this could be a similar instance. While this is a reasonable point, it seems that to be a high ranking CTU official, you must doubt Jack\'s instinct to determine whether someone is guilty no matter how many times you\'re proven wrong.

Jack becomes aware that Audrey\'s implication is a major distraction, and realizes that they need to get information out of Collette, despite her having immunity. Considering how easily they find that Collette was in contact with Henderson, you wonder why Karen didn\'t sign off on it (or Jack thought of it) earlier. The actual interrogation is good, but the real treat was when Jack took the guard\'s gun and handed it back to Buchanan afterward, saying he\'ll be looking for it.

It\'s worth noting in this episode shows just how powerful Henderson really is. The higher ranking members of the conspiracy are the generals, and Henderson is the highest ranking soldier, allowing the \"generals\" to claim ignorance if he\'s caught. Henderson has interacted with Collette (thinking out how this works would ruin the fun) and is in charge of the soldiers looking for Wayne, who were obviously allowed in by those higher up. The evidence is damning for Vice President Gardner, who knew about Wayne\'s arrival shortly before the attack.

I had one problem with Aaron\'s storyline this episode, besides the lack of screen time. Since it didn\'t take him long to find Wayne, why didn\'t they just go back to the compound instead of lurking through the woods back to the black ops van, where several trained soldiers were waiting with a variety of weapons? They would\'ve been toast if they didn\'t leave the keys in the ignition. While it doesn\'t look good for Wayne, he survived the initial ambush for a reason. We don\'t know exactly what information he has, but that is likely what will ensure his survival (I usually don\'t like it when they bring someone back just to kill them off).

One thing that worries me is the new Shari. Granted, Kate Mara is easy on the eyes (I remember her playing a naïve lesbian on Nip/Tuck), but her crying sexual harassment over an innocuous gesture seems uncomfortably close to the melodramatic subplots that have bogged down 24 before. Thankfully, there haven\'t been any stories like that this season, and even those that came close were tied to the main threat quickly. The immediate implication of Shari\'s instability is that it undermines Chloe\'s position with Miles when she stood up for her, although that was a highlight.

Bierko\'s plan would amass 200,000 casualties, but the writers never explained how they could do it at a time when many people would be at home instead of a crowded area. Now it\'s clear that was the point, as it would be released through a plant that pumps natural gas to the homes. And because of some gas science, they need time to depressurize so the nerve gas can travel through the system, giving our heroes time to find out while the terrorists force a patsy to make the gas movement happen.

The final action sequence is a lot of fun, reminiscent of the climax of Return of the Jedi. 24 always does well with these action sequences, like the Saunders apprehension and Heller and Audrey\'s rescue, but it is more related to a major piece of pyrotechnics than several minutes of stunt work. We know Jack would be OK, but having the explosion chasing him, only for Jack to run back to get Bierko makes for a riveting end.

Jack is clearly safe, but what about Bierko? His proximity to Jack makes him a likely candidate for survival, but what would his purpose be, now that the Russian side of the conspiracy has ended? He would likely want some payback from those responsible for tricking him and his men, but how could they play that out?

Although the nerve gas crisis is over, this episode also wanted to continue to show that there is a lot more to the American conspiracy, as popularly assumed. Henderson is poised to be the big bad, but he is protecting people far more powerful than he is. So who are they?
  • End of the nerve gas threat

    9.0
    "Superb"
What a good instalment as Audrey is tortured for information on Henderson revealing an embrassing secert about her and Walt Cummings. Audrey is then saved as Collette had lied to Jack and reveals Bierko's next target at a gas plant in which the gas could kill nearly a quarter a million people.

Jack and Curtis track him leading to the best explosion on 24 yet with Jack running away from the flames (a good film with main man running from fire).

What a cliffhanger Jack and Bierko in a police car with the main explosion and debris on the car with the clock to end the hour.

Onee of the best of Season 5 apart from 7am-8am, 6pm-7pm & 7pm-8pm.

So they're gonna BURN the nerve gas. Um, here's a question:

What does natural gas do at consumers' homes and businesses? It um, kinda burns. That's the whole idea. So why does Jack need to blow up the gas facility? Okay, so maybe a few people would die from contaminated gas leaks, but they could very well die from an uncontaminated gas leak. Hmm. If the gas would be neutralized by fire, how freakin' stupid is Bierko? Or the writers, for that matter? What was Bierko's plan? Go around the city blowing-out pilot lights?

Otherwise, it's a good episode. I'm taking a couple of points off for silliness, though.

I love this show. I really do. But it's been getting sloppier as the seasons pass.
  • The best epsidoe this season!

This episode seems to go on forever, and as the viewer, you don't want it to stop. Jack doesn't mess around in this episode. He believes Colette-Stenger and forces Shari Rothenberg to forcibly interrogate Audrey. With a little emotion in this episode, Jack seems to trust Audrey, forgives her for her past one-nighter with Walt Cummings, and saves her from a painful interrogation from that other H/Security guy. They even kiss in last episode. Go Jack!

Wayne Palmer and Aaron Pierce was the best part of the first 30 minutes. That action could have carried the episode, but it didn't compare with Jack taking out the nerve gas.

In this episode, the adventure continued with equally distributed 1st rate acting, fighting scenes, more conflicts, and Jack saving the day. Of course, CTU will no doubt have a new problem in the next episode and Jack will also track down Christopher Henderson, but that's for another review.
  • Loved this, but...

I loved this episode like the others. Although some scenes were non-sense: like that power plant explosion that didnt kill jack or bierko, or that scene with palmer's bro with the m4. Why didnt he use the m4 when the bad guys came chasing him? Why didnt he shot them with the gun and ran? Other then this, i got no comlaints. The acting was very solid as expected.
  • Killing time in 24-land

Killing time in 24-land again. Looks like I spoke to soon about a lull. This is the second straight episode where really nothing big happens. I’m all for catching my breath but I did that halfway thru last week’s episode. One more like this one and it’s officially a lull.

This time we get to watch Jack torture Audrey (actually, intimidate is a better word) when she is revealed to be the one who sold the plans for the next target to Bierko. I thought the show kind of wussed out on this one. How were they able to piece together and alibi that quickly? I know, this is 24 we’re talking about but really. Now that Kim Raver appears unlikely to come back to the show after she signed on to another show, why wouldn’t they just either turn her bad or kill her off? Of all the options the show runners could’ve picked, this was the safest one. And it’s a shame. How great would it have been if during the big “I knew you would come back” scene if Audrey would’ve slammed Jack in the head and tried to escape? I kinda wanted Homeland Creepy Woman to be right when she said that “she had broken him”.

Nice to see Aaron back in action again. Let’s hope that he survives the day. And if this doesn’t have something to do with linking the VP to Henderson, then it just won’t be that good of a secret.

Otherwise, it’s just business as usual. I really didn’t like the whole sexual harassment thing (but I did like Chloe’s reaction to the “He shouldn’t have done that” line). Let’s hope that tidbit is a one and done plotline. But we’re building for something. Let’s just hope we get there soon.

And if anyone thinks that Jack is dead…you must be new to this show.

    Bauer threat of the week:

(to Collette Stenger) If you were lying to me, I'm gonna make this the worst day of your life

I can't believe this season can keep on coming up with the goods like it is doing.

The attrition rate at CTU this year is shocking, not a good place to work ;-)

    Loved the ep. Again.

I wonder now, exactly what does Palmer know that's so dangerous? And how many moles can there be in the US government!

Ok so maybe Audrey got it pretty easy compared to some poor saps over the years but for such a girly girl like Audrey this was a big deal. It was no surprise to find out she was innocent however.

I like the way this show won't wait until the final episode to show us how Jack will thwart the terrorist menace - no, episode 15 will do thank you very much. Truth is that I have no idea where this is all going but I love it all the same.

Any veteran 24 watchers like myself of course know this was all a ruse to distract CTU from the real attack. What is it to be though? I'm still praying Los Angeles does actually get hit this time, pretty sick I know but it's the most preposterous tv show on at present. The most unexpected thing that could happen would be for Jack to fail - but could the writers possibly allow this to happen? We'll find out over the next few months.
  • Audrey Raines : CTU Inside Mole? NO! She is interrogated and is innocent...SHE DIDN'T DO IT! Terrorists give no mercy at a plant...Jack's car blows up...many Nerve Gas released...AHHHHH

  • A good episode that pushed the story forward with some disappointing aspects.

    9.3
    "Superb"
I have to say that this episode got kind of disappointing. I mean come on Jack, attacking CTU security to protect Audrey from interrogation just because you don't want to believe she could be a traitor. I did enjoy how they once again acknowledged the past when referring to Nina. Yes Nina did betray Jack and yes, he probably does not like to acknowledge the fact but it is possible that it could happen again. He was fooled once he could be fooled once more. The fact that he was so convinced that she was innocent that he would attack the security guards shows how much Audrey has him wrapped around her finger. Jack has once again risked national security to do whatever he thinks is right. At some point the law has to apply to Jack Bauer as well.

It was nice to see them finally find the other canisters and Bierko though. Should be interesting to see what is going to come up to take us through the rest of the season. Though we all know that Jack's alive. Without him there isn't really a show. Once again they throw in the suspense for five minutes just to keep us guessing like they did in season two and four.

It has been disappointing to see the massive clean out of old characters this season. I have to say that I have not been a fan of the replacements either. This episode they brought in another one. I'm sorry I don't care about Prudy McPrude who thinks a hand graze on the back is sexual harrassment. Give me back my Michelle
  • Another Brilliant Episode..

    9.5
    "Superb"
It's all coming together - but just one question - where did Wayne Palmer get his assault rifle from ?? Did I miss something.. Also is Jack getting soft ?? He only knocked out 3 good guys and killed about 4 bad guys this episode - way off quota - he'll be missing his monthly bonus at this rate. Nice tender moment with Audrey too, plus some excellent Cloe-ism - we need to get her weilding another gun at some bad guys - the best moment from 4 imho. And why didn't Jack give Collette a punch or a slap or something - the old Jack would have shot her in the kneecaps without even thinking.
  • Overall, this episode was another transitional piece, though it ends with a nice chunk of plot progression. Getting to that point, however, gives the writers a bit too much room for subplots that could and should have been avoided.

    6.0
    "Fair"
Illness and the lack of an official summary on the FOX site (thanks, slackers!) prevents a long analysis of this particular episode. Then again, given the fact that this continues to cover the transitional period required to trigger the next big plot twist (coming, as usual, within the next couple episodes), there’s not a lot to talk about. Most of the plots proceed as one would expect, with the only surprise being the confrontation at the natural gas facility, which took place a bit earlier than one might have predicted.

The big moment in this episode is the interrogation of Audrey by Jack, which was staged in a way that suggested something massive and meaningful. The interrogation itself had its intense moments, especially when the line between objectivity and subjectivity became a lot less defined, but too much emphasis was placed on Jack’s apparent reaction to Audrey’s fling with Walt Cummings.

It was also a bit too obvious that Audrey was being framed. To the writers’ credit, they ensured that Jack and Bill both found the notion absurd, given her activities to preserve the investigation throughout the day, but it was also used as a justification for Karen’s pre-emption of Bill’s authority. Karen definitely dislikes Jack and his approach to things, which only adds to the tension.

That said, Karen and Miles both bring up some interesting points about Jack’s past and the fact that his judgment is clouded when personal emotions get in the way. Karen could have given Jack a much longer laundry list of reasons why his involvement in the interrogation was a bad idea. Of course, that doesn’t automatically mean that Karen’s decision to torture Audrey was particularly justified, since as Jack pointed out, being wrong could have some harsh consequences.

It might be possible that Karen’s decision to torture Audrey could lead to leverage for CTU’s return of operational control. Assuming that Secretary of Defense Heller is not implicated in the conspiracy (and that’s still an open question), Jack and Bill could easily present a case based on their success and Karen’s unwarranted heavy-handed approach. The writers will obviously place Jack in a position to go “rogue” for a few hours until something happens to put CTU back in the saddle, but there’s no reason to think that it would be permanently under DHS control.

This being a transitional episode for the most part, there are the usual annoying subplots. Agent Pierce deserves more face time, and Wayne Palmer could use a plot thread to redeem his character in the eyes of many, but why cut corners and make things look ridiculous in the process? It doesn’t make sense for Wayne to arm himself by presumably taking out one of the assassins on his tail, and no one believes that he was hurt so badly that he won’t achieve something of value in the next episode.

Henderson’s involvement in the hit on Wayne is interesting, especially in conjunction with the fact that Vice President Hal was alerted to Wayne’s presence at the checkpoint in the previous episode. The writers either think they are being clever and subtle with the connections here, or things are not as clear-cut as they appear. Still, it seems a bit odd that Henderson would have such authority and ability to act without someone very high in the chain of command.

Far more annoying, however, was the subplot involving the tech with severe psychological issues. (Frankly, her name didn’t stick, but it really isn’t necessary!) As clever as it might be to build on the audience’s hatred of Miles by painting him as a sexual harasser, only to turn it around by making Little Miss Psycho the one with the problem, it’s about as annoying and needless a subplot as the plot thread with Chloe and Chase’s baby in the third season. (Though, it must be said, Chloe’s dressing-down of Miles was the highlight of the episode!)

The final act was a nice action set piece, designed to eliminate the nerve gas threat just in time for the “complication” phase of the season to end in the next episode. There’s little doubt that Jack will survive, but there’s every reason to believe that Bierko will as well. After all, he and Henderson need to point Jack and his allies in the right direction towards the real threat within the government. Henderson could do that alone, but Julian Sands is just too much fun to lose at this point.

  • Loved It! One of the best episodes of the season!

Up until a few weeks ago, I thought this season wasnt living up to the first four. Boy was I ever wrong!! Since then, weve had 4 really intense episodes! With the Syntox gas in CTU, Edgars death, Tony\'s death, and this week\'s cliffhanger....I can\'t wait till monday!

    Till then!

OK, not all my wishful predictions were correct. But the bonus - Audrey is innocent after all. And what a way to tug at the audients' hearts - Jack sanctioning Audrey's arrest, confronted with Audrey's affair with Cummings, interrogating her and almost choking her ... later proving she is innocent, the tender moments oh luv it! The build up has been gradual - way back in 5x5 through to 5x12 the little moments they spoke, touched hands, Audrey asking Jack if he was ok after Kim\'s rejection ... the writers have managed to endear Audrey to this audience at least. She was firy when necessary as when she stood up to Lynn, persuaded Curtis to invoke Section 12(?) . You got to admit that this is one strong lady Jack deserves to be at his side.

Plot wise, ok, Henderson is rearing his villaineous head - now we have one villain we can hate. Bieko has been somewhat limited in scope - just one bad guy who is angry with and lashing out at USA because he was played out by the President. But with Henderson, there seems to be a greater evil agenda, conspiracy that is worthy of a hero of Jack status.

Great episode! Remind me not to try to outguess the writer in the future!
  • This episode got back on track and had it all...but where's it going??

This was an outstanding episode, and had a bit of everything. You saw Jack at his best...ready to shoot Collette, firm yet sensitive with Audrey, and reckless as ever! I laughed out loud when he told Collette he was a getting a little upset. This episode did a good job of making the transition from the tragic losses of Edgar and Tony to focusing on the terrorist plot at hand. What was with the new CTU girl though?? I went from feeling bad to hating her in seconds...at least she\'s pretty!

The ending is making me a bit nervous...surely, they can\'t be offing Jack...right??? However, this is the third season I\'ve seen, and I don\'t ever remember seeing the main terrorist plot foiled so early in the season. That tells me that there is more to come with the plot, but I don\'t see where it\'s coming from yet. I do hope it doesn\'t involve the loss of Jack...but I\'ve been surprised all season, so who knows. By the way is it just me, or is the music during the most tense scenes (i.e., the invasion of the plant scene) simply outstanding in the last few episodes...I'm trying to find it on ITunes.

    God, I love this show!!
  • we haven't seen an episode this good in a while!

This was an excellent episode, through it you first beleive un audrey's inocence, then you are not so sure, after that you might think she's guilty, then again it appears she's been set up; until of course, jack solves the case. I can't wait to see Secretary of Defense going to CTU and shout the crap out of homeland chic. Henderson reappears which is good (I thought maybe when he killed tony, that was that).

On the other hand, the episode lacks that last minute Oh my God! we are used to. I mean, jack gets caught in the middle of an explotion, but OBVIOUSLY he survives, so there's no surprise there.

I liked the suspense. It made me really neveous. I like shows that can do that. I thought the Edgar replacement girl was really weird (even if her weirdness is understandable) and that face Chloe made when she said that thing about Bill was priceless!

    I love this show tons!

This is one the best episode of this season !!!

I think that the terrorists aren´t too good, but the people that take the command of situation (president and others) make the threat more dangerous that could be.
