Jack informs agent Walker, who is in the hospital with Dubaku, about a new attack that is going to be starting at 19:00. Meanwhile, Dubaku is being poisoned by a Juma operative posing as a hospital's staff member. Dubaku suffers a cardiac arrest and dies.

President Taylor is discussing the news from Sangala, the invasion is a success and minimal casualties are reported. This is in contrast with the word from Juma, who assures that his soldiers are fighting back and declares victory. U.S. soldiers are not able to find Juma yet.



Juma discuss with Dubaku's son the preparation for the attack. Ha asks about his father but even when Juma is the one responsible for his murder, he tells his son that he will join them soon.



Jack asks Chloe to erase Senator Mayer's Chief of Staff, Ryan Burnett, from the list so he will not be arrested. He plans to interrogate him personally, without lawyers and rights. Chloe informs jack that Burnett is at the White House for a meeting between the president and Senator Mayer.



Jack meets Tony Almeida at the White House and tells him that he will have to do this alone, without Tony's help or even Bill's, who is at the White House coordinating the arrests produced by Dubaku's list.



Kanin meets Senator Mayer just to tell him about the topic of the meeting; Jack Bauer's hearings. Mayer is willing to fight the president on this since it's been years preparing the case against him and his methods. Kanin informs Mayer that the president is willing to extend a pardon to Jack if he doesn't cooperate just looking the other way.



Jack enters the White House and meets Bill. He explains him that he has to interrogate Burnett to stop an imminent attack but he has to do it alone and using his special skills. Threatening him with a gun he knocks Bill out and runs for Burnett.



Walker informs Moss about her recent discoveries at the hospital; there was a ninth member of the ICU team when Dubaku flat lined and nobody seems to know him. She is given a picture of the suspect going into the garage and taking his car to leave the building. Walker decides to follow him.



Janis discovers that a name is missing from the list she gave the operatives to make the arrests, she offers herself to run a recovery program but Chloe asks her not to do it since she wants to do it herself, Janis doesn't like the way Chloe answered. Chloe informs Jack about Janis and ask him to hurry since she doesn't know how much longer will it be until she realizes what really happened.



Jacks just gets to Burnett, meanwhile, Janis informs Moss about the complot between Jack and Chloe she learned when she unscrambled a phone call in which Chloe is directed by Bauer to delete Burnett's name form the list. Chloe is arrested and Moss alerts the White House.



The president is asking Senator Mayer to back off Bauer's case when she receives a call from Moss telling her about Bauer being in the next room torturing Burnett.



Bauer is using a teaser to get the information about the next attack from Burnett, and just when he is going to get the location the president stops him blowing out the door of the look in which he locked himself up. Bauer is arrested and Burnett is put in custody.



President Taylor offers Burnett a full pardon but he is not willing to cooperate, he asks for counsel.



Walker followed the suspect from the hospital to the basement of a warehouse at the pier where she can see an African military unit heavily armed and ready for an attack. She informs Moss about it and tells him that Juma is actually the one calling the shots in person. Moss takes a chopper to get to her location and starts sending back up.



Bill regains consciousness and calls Almeida to know the source of the intel he got. He says that his intel is dead and the fall plan is offer Burnett a pardon, since he refused it there is no way to stop it.



At the FBI, Janis is trying to triangulate Walker's position but she dropped her phone on the water so now is useless. Meanwhile, Walker got to be hidden on a boat that is taking Juma and his men to the White House, they discuss the plans of the attack while Walker is secretly listening to all of it.
