I do love double entendres, even those not of the sexual variety.
The suspenseful situation at the White House continues into this hour, but only for the first act. Jack's quick thinking allows for an explosive stop to Juma's assassination attempt. It's by far the best part of the episode, and I'm not sure how to feel about that. On one hand, HELL YEAH! On the other, the rest of the hour kinda suffers in trying to reinflate the tension.
Jack plans to go after Ryan Burnett to find out who Juma was working with. Thanks to a couple of behind-back goings, he gets this privilege, which gives our new villain Jonas Hodges a reason to frame Jack and set the authorities on him once again.
In other news, Taylor decides to let her daughter Olivia into her presidential inner circle. Yeah, that should work out just fine for both of them.
The episode's final act does also amp things back up a little, as Jack's interrogation of Burnett goes horribly wrong and Hodges' henchman gets away cleanly. But that bookending doesn't help the middle three acts much. They're just boring and forgettable, and their downtime feels almost completely disconnected from the rest of this season so far. Well…Renee's screentime helps…barely.

    Hourly Highlight:
Jack seeing Bill Buchanan's corpse. I mean…spoiler alert!

  • Shocking Ending and a New Plot Openning.

    10
    "Perfect"
After the terricfic last episode and its incredible ending, the last half of the day begins introducing what looks like the new plot of the season.

A new plot which links very well with the last and the main plot of the day.

But the day can´t begin a new threat whithout end the last.

So, this episode is also the shocking follow up from the White House attack.

    And what an ending!.

It takes place at the beginning of the episode and you won´t believe how it is planning and how it begins and ends.

I only can say one thing, apart from the excellent action secuence and the great visual style: Bill Buchanan will be missed so much!. His silent clock is one of the most painful silent clocks in 24 ever, and the moment in wich Jack is sitting beside him and crying is so hard to forget.

10/10, and at the same perfect level than the last episode!.
  • This episode give the White House attack plot a closure and as everyone can expect, the main emotion here is sadness, because one more character was sacrificed to give a episode a meaning.

Climax Phase - » (10/10)*3. Like season 5, episode 11 and 12 presented a very complicated problem which only was solved in episode 13. This season is no different the problem is solved in this episode when a new one is presented. The writers had created a excellent climax, however, Bill Buchanan dead is not something I did like, because the characters was one of the best, but since Jack can´t die so soon, Bill Is the sacrifice, also this type of big event, eventually end up with at least one dead and Bill was the better Choice, not Tony that returned this season or Chloe that is protected in the FBI building, they could choose Aaron, but Bill would create more impact.

Action - » (10/10). As everyone could expect, the action was excellent, and the bad guys deserved to die, they dead are more meaning because of Bill sacrifice.

Drama - » (10/10). Bill dead created the necessary drama for this episode, I think is dead is very sad, Jack reaction was great.

Surprises/Shocks/Twists - » (10/10). Again, Bill dead shocked me, is not a twist, is just shocking

Suspense/Tension - » (9/10). The gun fights provide great tension, this Hodges assassin´s seems very good, why I didn´t kill Jack?

Ending - » (8/10). Jack was framed, but we already saw that before, was not a bad ending, this can be interesting,

Time and Scene Management - » (9/10). It is hard to notice filler, but they were there, however this doesn´t affect this episode quality and some scenes was filled with some necessary details.

Plot Details/Holes- » (9/10). Jack plans was improvised by the writers, still, you can suspend you belief since it is nothing serious. Other details were nicely done.

What I liked -» Jack scenes was great. Bill dead was sad. Renee attitude´s.

What I Didn´t Liked -» Hard to say, but Olivia is annoying.

This episode give the White House attack plot a closure and as everyone can expect, the main emotion here is sadness, because one more character was sacrificed to give a episode a meaning.
  • Bill s death.

8pm and 9pm was an amazing followup of 7pm and 8pm. Benjamin jumba takes everyone in the white house hostage and starts to threaten the president to open the door or her daughter will die. After a few shouts the door is opened and the president is forced to make a speech to apolozise her actions to Sangala. Meanwhile, Jack says to BIll to get ready to save the president as he released some natural gas cannisters in the lockdown room, he was going to ignite the cannister to create a diversion and kill most of jumba s men. But before jack could move, Bill says to Jack that he heard JUmba talking to someone and believed JUmba was not the lead operative to this scheme. Bill asks JAck to find out who JUmba is working for then races off and triggers the explosion killing most of jumbas men. then jack fights off the remaning soldiers while Aaron PIerce tries to guard the president and Olivia. Few moments later the FBI and secret service breaks and cleans up all of Jumbas garbage. Jack sees Bill s dead body inside the lockdown room, and mourns next to him over his brave death... Jack then knowing this is not over goes over to interrogate with BUrnett... and Bill was right... it is not over.
  • good episode

    "Superb"
Well, they left us with a huge cliff hanger last week with the president being captured in her own white house and they ended things pretty quickly. In the first ten minutes, Jack unfoiled his plan by telling Bill of explosives he planted and that triggered the cops to come in from the outside. I was shocked with Bill went in and triggered the explosion... I just wasn't expecting it at all. Bill is one of my favorite characters... but at least he got a heroic death. I liked how it showed the emotional side of Jack, though it was short-lived. The whole story with Jack being framed was interesting and it's nice seeing someone who is as good as Jack (well, maybe not as good...). Overall, solid episode with plenty of action and twists and turns... I'll miss Bill!
  • Managing the letdown

    7.0
    "Good"
The previous episode was one of the best in quite some time, if only based on the pure adrenaline level related to a terrorist attack within the White House. It was hard to imagine how the writers would effectively follow up on that, and sure enough, this episode was a bit of a letdown in comparison.

The episode certainly starts out well, with Juma continuing with his lethal tactics. It might have made more sense for him to make an example out of, say, Jack, Bill, or Senator Mayer, but pulling a random victim out of the crowd has the intended psychological effect. The intensity of the situation is well-maintained, particularly during the tense arguments between the Vice President and Agent Moss.

Sadly, it all ends too quickly. While it helps to know that Jack convinced the President to let him rig a trap before surrendering, it seems a bit convenient. And it's quite unfortunate for long-suffering "24" fans to lose Bill Buchanan, one of the better additions to the cast over the years. At least his death was more meaningful than some others have been, and that it had a profound effect on Jack in the process.

The intensity of the episode falls off dramatically at this point, and quietly builds to one of the more annoying retreads imaginable. How many times is Jack going to be considered a "rogue" agent? It's easy to see why they went in the direction they did, but the situation had to be carefully constructed (and illogically so) to make it happen.

Agent Walker had to go behind Agent Moss' back to ensure that her status would be questionable moving forward (giving her the chance to pull off some "rogue" activity of her own, ala Jack). Moss had to get the orders from Ethan to make sure President Taylor was out of the loop, thus giving Olivia direct ammunition for blaming him for letting the situation get so out of control. Jack, of course, now has a personal reason to hunt down Jonas, which was somewhat unnecessary. Even within the plot, this is so; who would believe that Jack would slash the throat of a suspect in the midst of an interrogation? So many other, more plausible things could have been done to frame him!

At this point, all of "CTU" is dead or in serious trouble. Tony is wanted, Jack has been framed, and Chloe is under suspicion. Even Agent Walker is having a rather bad day. This makes sense, given the fact that it's the middle of the season and things should be getting more complicated for the heroes, but it's unfortunate that so much of the process of getting there has felt so baldly manufactured.
  • Major developments.

    9.2
    "Superb"
So.. this episode.. after all what happened last week.. I knew it was going to be major episode but I was not expecting it.. the whole thing in White House.. Bill.. I do not know..I was so surprised it happened. I never liked Bill when he first came but he really became so great part of this show.. and somehow.. I was expecting little different end for him.. Little more dramatic.. not that it wasn't but.. I think they could have done it better.

And the way this episode went.. with the storyline of Olivia and Bauer framed again.. It was full of major developments but still.. I think they could have done it better.. I expect to see some old faces more.. and there is still lot to come.
  • the day keeps twisting around itself. logical and believable reactions make the white house hostage thing alittle more reasonable.

    "Great"
what can i say, it's going great. Bill's death was pretty expected and was nowhere near other shocking deaths of the series. I'd love jack beat juma up and get him tied down then kill him, ý really really got disgusted of him so I'd love to see his face for a while knowing that he has failed.

I'd love to see some kind of reaction from president to jack. I loved her doughter's approach to things.

the ending was like another chapter opening in a computer game. I'm excited to see ahead and I am glad that jack called agent moss. ý was yelling to the tv "hey man are you mad? follow the guy but also call in" and he did. Hope agent moss doesnt keep being such an arse

going great. halfway through the day. But we are against the danger of it getting lame. cos already two big bosses died. and if the rest of the day is just a terorist attack to cities, it will be lame. if it is something that tops the white house attack, it will be silly. I don't know how will they pull it off, we have to wait and see.
  • Review - Slip Up?

    8.5
    "Great"
The first twelve minutes of the episode were 10 / 10 quality and it seemed to continue right where the last episode left off, which is what this show aims to do anyway. I was glad that they didn't draw out the President being held captive because I would have found it rather un-realistic to go over 90+ minutes with the president under seige and still have an assortment of men standing outside the white house not trying to help her. Larry Moss does not follow the rules when dealing with the take-over of the white house, which I found somewhat out of character but at the same time you have to look at all the time that he spent trying to get the ok before he went in. I suppose I can understand him going in after an hour or so of wanting to get inside the white house. Bill dies in the episode, something that I actually didn't see coming. I was feeling an undercover season eight that involved Bill, Renee, Moss, O'Brain, and Jack. However, that was not to be. Either way - Bill killing himself did make sense because he didn't want Jack to make the sacrifice - he wanted him to bring down the whole operation. Bill would have known that Jack would have sacrificed himself for his country, so Bill did what he had to do to keep Jack alive. Jack sitting next to the body clearly upset was a great scene - made even more perfect by Renee seeing him. Drew a great correlation to the conversation the two of them had in the hospital a while back.

After all that - the episode kind of went into cruise control mode, going 25 miles per hour. It got really boring there for a while with Jack in transit, Renee getting suspended, and the President covering a few odds and ends. I thought Jones did a really good job these past few episodes in the crisis situation, but I'm still not sold on her being the President of the United States. The daughter goes to try and get her some of Aaron Pierce and becomes a complete ***** when talking to Ethan. The end of the episode picked up where we all expected it too. Jack is running away from the FBI agian - on his own to do his own thing while Larry chases him. He warns Larry not to chase him, but I have a feeling that Larry will anyway.
  • While being held hostage Bill Buchanan and Jack devise a plan to save the president. Their plan ultimately works but the victory is a hollow one for Jack as Buchanan dies in the process. However it is soon learned that the danger has not yet passed

    "Great"
As is the case this season, this episode was well written and very exciting. The rescue scenes were brilliantly staged and acting was top notch as usual. I will admit I was somewhat saddened by the death of Bill Buchanan. Yes, I know it's "24" and nobody's life is assured, but Buchanan was one of the show's best characters and he will definitely be missed. The scenes of Jack in the hospital with Burnette were well done also. Burnette's dialouge seemed a bit contrived, but the scenes worked regardless. Season seven looks to be headed for a very exciting conclusion.
  • Juma reigns comes to an end

    8.5
    "Great"
Juma got exactly what he wanted the president. The President was forced to read a statement, the Vice President continued to refuse to authorize a rescue mission, and Jack & Bill fought back. Moss sent his team in disapproving the Vice-Presidents orders; Bill was the Hero as he sacrificed his own life to protect the President. The whole siege was soon over as Jack shot down Juma, before Bill died he told him that Someone is still out their planning something big as Bill believes that Juma was getting help on the outside. Moss didn't give 2 sh!ts about this as Jack was arrested, Renee took this to Ethan who authorized that Jack Interrogate Burnett once more. Renee who herself ended up getting suspended for disobeying orders. Hodges set up another master-stroke as he sent Quinn to infiltrate the hospital, kill an innocent old man as a distraction, and travel through the raised ceiling to get to Burnett's room. His plan setting up a video loop on the surveillance, dropping in a paralyzing gas and setting it up to look like Jack slashed Burnett's throat with a piece of glass was executed brilliantly. After Waking up Jack realized he had just been set-up, knowing that Moss wouldn't believe it. He made his way of the Hospital and hunt down whoever set him up.
  • Juma is dead, Juma is dead

    10
    "Perfect"
The first 10 minutes of this episode were the most action packed and intense of the season. Juma continues to terrorize the President and the hostages that are being held. But Jack has hatched a plan to get rid of them and it involves our favorite special effect; a big explosion, with Jack charging the safe room where natural gas is leaking, with hopes a stray bullet from one of Juma's men will spark and ignite the gas. It is a suicide mission for Jack and at the last moment Bill Buchanan charges the safe room, gunfire ignites the gas kill or injuring most of Juma's men. Sadly, in the process Bill Buchanan is killed. The FBI storms the White House and the rest of Juma's men are killed, with Juma being killed by Jack himself.

Before Bill Buchanan sacrifices himself he tells Jack that it is not over; he saw Juma taking orders from someone over a sat-phone. Jack relays the information to Renee Walker

Jack is left sitting next to Bill Buchanan's corpse in intense emotional distress.

As the chaos clears and order is restored, Renee Walker tells Larry Moss that it is not over and more attacks are imminent. Larry gaffs her off; what a putz. She goes around his back to Ethan Kanin who orders that Jack be allowed to further interrogate Ryan Burnett. While Jack is interrogating him the a new bad guy name Quinn infiltrates the hospital room, kills Burnett and frames Jack for it at the same time.

Our buddy Jonas Hodges is planning to use WMDs on a number of US Cities on the east coast.

This was an exciting episode with the plot twist of Juma getting killed and Jonas Hodges apparently being the one behind it all. Cant's wait for the next episode.
  • This certainly isn't a bad episode but it could have done with a little extra attention.

    7.0
    "Good"
Um. Really? Is that it? The siege on the White House is over within the first ten minutes of this slightly patchy episode, and it's all thanks to some magical canisters of mysterious gas that just so happen to be conveniently placed in the previously useless safe room. Well, you know, who needs communication with the outside world, weapons and food when you've got GAS? This is a fairly disappointing deux et machina that is really unnecessary when you think of the myriad other possibilities that the writers could've used to allow Jack and Bill to gain the upper hand. With Buchanan's noble suicide (a wonderfully executed scene, by the way, and the obligatory two minute mourn by Kiefer is just as effective), Tony Todd and his Band of Merry Cockroaches are vanquished to the annals of 24 villaindom as just another bunch of power-hungry, America-hating loons who serve as a front for the other, more deeply buried, conspiracy-type-thing that is going on behind the scenes. And sure enough, Jon Voight's admittedly excellent Jonas Hodges is planning something even bigger! It's not over yet! We're peeling the onion again! Seriously guys, this is the third volte face in half a season and while I am slowly falling in love with Voight's character, the stops and starts are starting to become a little tiresome. Sure, the dastardly Quinn seems like an admirable addition, given that he is at least given some weight as a competent threat, but the sequence in which he frames Jack for the murder of Ryan Burnett is just plain ridiculous. Oh look, some more mysterious gas... this time, it incapacitates you for precisely three minutes! Riiight. Surely it would've made more sense to have had him create a form of diversion so that the hospital has to be evacuated or something? Did we really need this credulity-stretching plot? Oh, but we have to have Bauer on the wrong side of the law again otherwise it just wouldn't be 24! Forgive me if I roll my eyes. This certainly isn't a bad episode, don't get me wrong, but it could have done with a little extra attention.

    "Perfect"
I enjoyed this episode. A lot. There was a death, which is evident by the image on the page, and it was extremely sad. However, this was an exciting episode and non-stop suspense. I haven't seen an episode of 24 like this in a long time. Season 7 was the best season yet, with the exception of perhaps season 1. This episode is a prime example of what makes this season so great. The writing and acting were flawless and I couldn't pry my eyes away from the television screen. Overall, this was a fantastic episode and one of my favorites. Great!
  • My favorite episode of the seventh season.

    10
    "Perfect"
My favorite episode of the seventh season... I'm going to mention only my favorite two scenes and not the whole episode; One of our very favorite characters in the history of 24 died in the most heroic way... the great Bill Buchanan (played by James Morrison) sacrificed himself for the greater good. His death gave the opportunity to Jack Bauer to unravel the thread... Jack killed Juma but he wanted to learn who helped him... so, almost in the end of the hour, he went to the hospital to interrogate the conpirator Ryan Burnett but then happened the unexpectable!!! Jonas Hodges' killer appeared from the roof, killed Burnett and framed Jack!!! Once again, Jack Bauer is wanted by the authorities. End of the episode.
  • The best episode so far of Day 7.

    9.0
    "Superb"
After the end of last week's double-bill (episodes 11 & 12 were shown together in the UK last Monday, like in the US the week before) I wondered what President Taylor's speech was going to be about (Juma said to her something like "this will be the last speech you will make" as the clock reached 9 pm (or 21:00 hours). The opening few minutes had tension caused by you wondering what was going to happen with President Taylor. How it all played out was well done.

The character who is really getting on my nerves is Larry Moss. He will either get his comeuppance somewhere down the line later this season, or he will redeem himself. Or maybe he might turn out to be another mole in the FBI. I hope not though. He's turning out so far to be the Ryan Chappelle character in Day 7.

Isn't it strange how Ethan left the White House to go to the Pentagon an episode or two ago? I'm sticking with my suspicion that he is/was on the payroll of General Juma or Colonel Dubaku. It will be interesting to see what happens with the President's daughter's search for the truth (I'm referring to the conversation between her and Ethan in the second half of this hour).

The conclusion to the siege at the White House was played out well. I enjoyed how it played out, but was sad when a much liked character left the show. It's a classic "24" story tool (is that the correct word?), someone making a sacrifice to save others.

When Jack was arrested and being taken to the helicopter, to be transported to the FBI's headquarters, and gave Larry that look, I thought Jack was going to somehow overpower the people escorting him, land the helicopter somewhere and make his escape. But then things changed when Larry was ordered by Ethan to go with Jack to the hospital and interrogate Burnett.

The Vice-President's conversation just before Larry and Renee left the FBI van as the explosion caused by the canisters Jack left opened were blown up....what is going to happen with that sub-plot? Is Larry going to get into as much trouble as Renee (for disobeying Larry's orders) and Jack (for escaping from the hospital and for being suspected as the person who killed Burnett in his room at the hospital)?

This hour was I felt a transistion from the plot which started in "24: Redemption" and continued from the start of Day 7. In the last hour Hodges and I'm guessing his right-hand man, were introduced. But the new main plot started in this hour and will I assume be the only main plot now till the end of Day 7. It was very intriguing, and the 8.30 pm - 9 pm part of this episode was great, building up to a classic last few minutes. Most of it felt fresh. I wasn't expecting the assassin Quinn (whose face rung a bell. I'm certain he was the same character who was helping the other assassin/agent to torture, kill and then bury Kris Lemche's character (the friend of President Taylor's son who worked in the bank) under the layer of concrete in "24: Redemption".

The closing shot was superb. I was clapping because of how super it was. I just hope now the next hour doesn't disappoint. It could in any number of different directions. I'm going to guess that Jack will head for the safehouse where Chloe is, or meet up with Tony somewhere else in Washington DC.
  • hurts so good !

I thought the "solution" to their predicament required some "suspension of disbelief", but I knew that they had plotted something before opening the door. The explosion seemed to effect those farther away from the blast equally to those close and miraculously blew the president clear. Nonetheless, it's still got my attention.

I hated to see you end Bill, but i am intrigued with the ongoing story. I was surprized thatthe president seemed to forget her savior Jack - not asking about him, once safe. I was grateful that we saw so little of Janis Garafalo - please tell me that she will fade further into the background !!!! I like Jon Voigt's new role - he has a great "sinister calm" about him! I hope the original team (sans Bill) can continue to operate "dark" as they pursue the ongoing evil. The assassin from the hospital was very cool and effective - Jack will have to face him at some time in the near future.
  • The conclusion to the White House hostage situation leads to the need for Jack's special interrogation techniques and than the lights go out.

    9.5
    "Superb"
You can stop the ticking clock for a second as a major character dies once again instead of Jack as of course we need him now more than ever to helm the rest of this action packed season.

The resolution was rather quick and sudden for the White House Hostage situation but than again, knowing how unstoppable Jack is he knew he had to finish it quick with the President and her daughter's life in the balance.

Actually for a while I thought this was just an OK episode but it didn't blow me away until the last 10 minutes or so. The show is so much more fun when Jack is an outsider. The less embraced he is by his own Government the better. That's when he can let loose and can really start acting all Grand theft Autoish. Where he starts beating up cops and mowing everything out of his way just to get the job done. Of course he does it for everyone's own good.

And you know Jack will definitely be going back to Renee who also happens to be an outsider all of the sudden. What a coincidence. Even though some of this starts to feel the same somehow they mix it up and it still comes out different. I'm not expecting their best season this year, but I do see a solid one in the future. Go Jack! Go!
  • Juma has the President right where he wants her as Jack has a plan to save her. The outside influence on Juma is exposed by Bill but at a cost.

    9.0
    "Superb"
The last ep left the viewers with a lot to hang out for, with the president taken by Juma, it was building up to a great next hour. Lets be thankful that that is just what the audience got, another top notch hour from the best action show on the tube.

All things considered the hostage situation was sorted out all a little too quick for my liking. But it had enough action to keep me gripped for that short period of time. Juma's men are taken down in a bang but at the cost of one of the show's favourites, a truely sombre moment where Jack finally shows some emotion for another human being.

Before the hostage situation is sorted Bill tells Jack that Juma was on a satellite phone getting live intel from the outside, proving that the threat on the president was far from over. The only way to find out who was on the other end of the phone Jack must interrogate Bennett to get the intel from him. All this fails though leading to Jack being framed for Bennett's murder so as to draw attention away from the threat on the President.

Not as action packed as previous eps but one can't deny that it was high quality TV. This dialogue driven episode makes sure that there are still plenty of twists and turns in the remaining 11 hours to keep us all glued to our TVs.

In really don't envy Jack. He is constantly being wringed. First, his actions in the past are being questioned. He learns that his old friend Tony almeida is alive and is now working with some terrorists. Then he convinces an FBI agent that they have a mole, when they were unable to capture him. then he learns that Tony has been working undercover. So he has betray the agent he convinced to trust him. And he is in the White House when some terrorists barge in trying to get the President. And in his attempt to save the President, he watch another old friend Bill Buchanan die. And to top it all off Jack's been framed for a crime he didn't commit and has to go on the run. Will he ever get a break?

    A round of Applause.

That is what I gave this show after it met it's dreaded 9:00 hour and it's anticipated 9:00 to 10:00 hour.

Breathtaking; another episode which kept me on the tip of my toes. 24 gives us different approaches to the same act and it always seems to be something new.

    SPOILER ALERT

I knew Jack could not just walk out of the safe room without a Plan B. I must admit, I felt for Bill, his death was heartbreaking, he was a cherished cast member for 24 and I'm sure he would always be remembered. They hadn't mentioned Karen Hayes this season and whether or not she was still married to Bill?

Agent Moss agent feels threatened by Jack's hold over Renee, when will he admit to himself that not everything is done 'by-the-book' and that is why Jack's methods work. Even though Jack is framed for murder, that scene was just brutal on every level, but well played.

The President's role played by Cherry Jones is a strong one and she pulls it off; she plays President Allison Taylor beautifully.

This show just knows how to give us a good deal and I usually am left thinking it couldn't get better, but is slapped in the face every week.

What a day we have ahead of us. I count down on the hours left hoping the day doesn't get any shorter on 24.

After the previous amazing episodes I hoped the streak of excitement would continue, but no.

Juma was by far one of the most intriguing villains of the show so far. It was clear that he was going on a suicide mission, but killing him off so soon, and in a way like this... huge mistake.

But even that, would be forgivable. BUT BILL?! Killing Bill Buchanan, one of the coolest characters on the show? Were the writers high? They already made this mistake many times; killing off good characters. Jesus christ, what for? The entire thing wasn't even dramatic; it just filled me with rage and anger.

The rest was just dull set up. I feel this episode was a huge mistake.
  • This was a gum biting episode, cant wait for the next one!

    "Perfect"
When they release the next one, it should have more action, as I have noticed, they will make it one week killer action the next is just to catch up on the story line. But 10/10 show. When they bring out the next episode it should lead to more temptation and drama like they always do. Some people will say that is bad, other will say that is good.. I only say that is a episode that you "have to See". No matter what 24 is by far the most well thought out TV show out on Free to air TV at the moment.
  • This episode was one of those classic precursor episodes. Not much in the way of action but it does set you up for what looks to be the season's final bow.

    "Superb"
Last week we were treated with probably the greatest two episodes of the season so far, with the second episode being one of those 24 "immortal" episodes that we have all come to know. This week, it was a little bit of a slowdown. Granted, a slowdown for 24 is still an adrenaline rush for everyone else, but there seemed to be a little b it missing from this one. I will say that the first, and last, ten minutes of this episode were very well done. We lost a dear friend in Bill Buchanan, a 24 staple since season 4. We also learned more of Jonas Hodges, the treacherous and cold blooded mastermind behind the days attacks. And some new questions arose. The most prominent being, who exactly can we trust? The Vice President? Ethan Kanin? Where does the treachery end? Nevertheless, the hospital sequence in this episode was extremely well done. Although I find it hard to believe that Moss wouldnt have stormed into the room when he realized that the glitch in the camera feed wasnt going away. Either way, it made for a tense sequence of events. So now Jack is on the run and the season takes off in an entirely new direction. How will this play out. Either the 24 writers have stuck to their guns and this second half will be as pulse pounding as the first. Or the second half will be a complete letdown, and what started off as one of the more promising 24 seasons will turn into another season 6. My money is on the first option. I think with these characters, and so many questions left unanswered, this season has alot more punch left.
