Did anyone here besides me notice the blatantly obvious product placement of 'Cisco'.  Cisco must be paying '24' alot of money because i've been seeing Cisco alot lately in '24'.  I first noticed Cisco shown in the season 5 finale when Audrey was viewing a compuer (powered by Cisco) as she was talking to Jack on the submarine.  A couple of weeks ago, Cisco appeared on '24' again.  Then in last night's episode, Cisco appears not once but twice in such a pathetic obvious way that makes you wonder whether the  '24' writers care more about the plot or about Product Placement to please their sponsors.   Then of course, when the show went to commercial, a Cisco commercial appeared on TV. It's bad enuogh that this season has been really weak, but i never thought that '24' would sell out by focusing so much on a product placement.

They also use Cisco VOIP phones in CTU. Also they drove Ford trucks and SUVs in pretty much every season. But every since season 5, Toyota has seen a lot of screen time. Lastly, Sprint PCS has also been shown on 24 once in a while.

Using sponsors products is one thing, but those huge screens with the CISCO logo on it before the communication with the Russians is like a punch in the face.  It just goes way overboard. Things like that should be limited to commercials.

I still have to laugh about that brand new shiny Toyota in the prequel

yeah, seeing that huge Cisco logo everytime before the connection is made is somewhat annoying.

Can 24 go any lower! Of course it can. However will we see Jack drinking a bud after another successful day. I am really starting to dislike the show and this does not help.

Product placement is here to stay. Cisco tried with Vanished, let's hope it wasn't them that caused it to be cancelled.
