Is president Wayne Palmer confirmed dead from the 11th episode of Season 6? I didnt get the last words said by the person which saw President Palmer and everyone else that was in the room on the floor. Did he say get the medics in here or what?

He did say get the medics in here (but they would have said that dead or alive).  I'm pretty sure that he's alive because it looked like he was outside of the blast radius and Assad appeared to warn everyone in time.

I think he is alive.

There are several indications in previews, program guides and other posts on this forum that President Wayne Palmer has survived, but is likely severely incapacitated or in a coma, and probably out of action for several episodes, if not the rest of the season. Assad, we're not sure about.

By the way, Wayne Palmer is one of my least favorite characters. It doesn't bother me a bit that he has moved away from center stage for a while. But I hope Assad is still alive, and will be back in action soon. He had an interesting story arc.

I hope that he comes back.  If Daniels stays in power for too long, everyone will be arrested and sent to Guantanamo.

I think he is alive but will be in a coma for a few hours, just like Tony was in season 5.

Alive and in a coma seems the most likely and popular result.

The character isn't great but killing him would be to much.

you see some of waynes staff talking to the VC, saying how he is badly wounded, with shrapnel lodged in his chest & neck. they say its a miracle that he's even alive at all.

bill calls jack while he's with logan & tells him about the attempt on waynes life. he says that assad is the prime suspect & they believe he smuggled in a bomb. jack argues that it can't be true, bill says its a moot point, since assad is dead.

Palmer is alive, but since he is injured and cant run office, the VP will take over for a while
