  • Season 4 Episode 24: Day 4: 6:00 A.M. - 7:00 A.M.

  • In the previous five episodes Palmer had no markings at all on his hand, now all of a sudden he has a red mark right where the scaring was in the previous season.

  • Just after the telecom from the Chinese Consulate, there is a brief view of a TV with a FOX News Alert stating "Air Force One Crashes in Desert."

  • When Marwan lets go of Jack and falls to his death, he falls backwards, but when the camera angles on a view of his body, he is lying flat on his face.

  • Near the end, you can see where they've stuck tape on the road to mark where Carlos Bernard should stop the car in front of the camera.

  • During that commercial at the end of the episode, the first line is "on the first day, he saved the President." But he didn't. The first season was about how Jack was assigned to protect Senator Palmer. He wasn't elected President until the second season (a year later).

  • Not exactly a goof - maybe it's for morale purposes for the female staffers. But the locker room where Jack and Tony change clothes has a glass wall and glass doors. (Watch when Jack comes.) Who builds a locker room like that?

  • Marwan has his helicopter at "Global Center." Despite its pretentious name, it becomes clear as Jack and Curtis chase him through the levels that it's simply a multi-floor parking garage. Who calls a parking lot "Global Center"?

  • Season 4 Episode 23: Day 4: 5:00 A.M. - 6:00 A.M.

  • In the scene where Jack discovers Tony and Mandy are still alive it is dark and rainy outside, yet when they cut to Mandy looking out the window of her apartment, sunlight is streaming through the window.

  • Mandy and Gary's apartment number was 202. Shari, Joz, and Ian's apartment number is 205. Mandy and Tony hide out in apartment 208. The numbering of the units indicates that the apartments are in close proximity of each other, which means that the forensic team searching Gary and Mandy's apartment should have probably noticed her going back and forth between the apartments.

  • The timestamp on the photo that Mandy sends Michelle on her cell phone reads 01_02_00_0237 which indicates that the photo was taken at 2:37am instead of 5:08am. The date, depending on the day-month-year order, indicates that the photo was either taken on January 2, 2000 or February 1, 2000.

  • When Jack is going back over the audio tape of the car blowing up... he should have also noticed that he couldn't hear the car door shut on her side of the phone call.

  • While Mandy is negotiating for Tony's life, we see the gag in Tony's mouth with blood spots on it, under his right nostril and covering his mouth. After an angle change, Mandy's silhouette briefly covers the screen, and when it moves out of the way, the blood spots on the gag are now over Tony's cheek.

  • Season 4 Episode 21: Day 4: 3:00 A.M. - 4:00 A.M.

  • William Devane (Heller) does not appear in this episode.

  • As Jack's team prepares to storm the warehouse, the time is 03:56:14. Marwan then orders the launch sequence initiated for the missile about 10 seconds later, and it is set to fire in four minutes. It goes airborne at 03:59:57, which is three minutes and 33 seconds.

  • In the last episode, it took Jack, in an emergency situation, 25 minutes to get from the Chinese consulate to CTU headquarters. In this episode, the chief of security gets from the consulate to CTU in no longer than 8 minutes (the time between his last scene at the consulate to when he shows up at CTU) and possibly as short as 2 minutes (the time between Michelle being notified the chief is visiting to when he shows up).

  • Season 4 Episode 20: Day 4: 2:00 A.M. - 3:00 A.M.

  • William Devane (Heller) does not appear in this episode.

  • At around 2:45 AM, when Jack is in the truck with Lee Jong, he receives a call from the president in which he says, "Jack, Buchanan told me that you had Lee Jong in custody and that he was wounded." Buchanan had no idea that that operation had even taken place at that time and certainly not of known that Lee Jong was wounded.

  • Despite the fact Jack tells Tony not to let anyone know about his China mission, Tony brings up the map of the Chinese consultate on a big overhead monitor and talks to Jack over the com system in a normal voice with people walking by all around him.

  • When Jack drives from CTU to the Chinese Consulate, it only takes 11 minutes of on-screen time. But when they're driving back with the wounded Lee in an emergency situation, Jack says it's going to take them 25 minutes to get him back to CTU for medical help.

This is corrected in the Region 2 DVD release with Bauer saying they are 15 minutes away off camera.

  • Season 4 Episode 19: Day 4: 1:00 A.M. - 2:00 A.M.

  • William Devane (Heller) does not appear in this episode.
