Immediately upon watching this the viewer realizes the difference between HBO's 24/7 and Spike TV's UFC Countdown specials. UFC did produce a higher budget countdown series (UFC Primetime) earlier in the year, but even that failed to match the production values this did. The Countdown specials just reassert things the UFC audience already knows. 24/7 covers things boxing fans may not, no matter how die-hard a fan might be. The boxers are treated like super heroes, not just Dana White's employee of the month.
This definitely dragged a bit, but I am still really excited about this fight, and that was the goal of the program.
