3 Acts of Murder

Show Summary

Based upon a true story - 1920's Crime writer Arthur Upfield (Robert Menzies) was searching for the perfect plot for his new novel, The Sands of Windee. However, when his close friend Snowy Rowles (Luke Ford), uses the ideas in the ploy to murder three men, Upfield is forced to address his role in their deaths. Set in the of the Great Depression, this is the story of Upfield and Rowles, whose chance friendship takes their lives in very different directions - one as a murderer, and the other embroiled in publicity surrounding his controversial novel. Written by Ian David (Blue Murder), and directed by Rowan Woods (The Boys), 3 Acts of Murder explores the guilt and anxiety that exists when a work of harmless fiction turns far deadlier.
