This 30 for 30 film focused on Vlade Divac and Drazen Petrovic, two basketball players from Croatia who had a troubled relationship.
Petrovic may have been the second best player to play for the New Jersey Nets behind Dr. J, but his potential was never realized when he died at an early age. It was a sad story, one wonders what could have happened should his career continued for another 5-7 years like it could have been, and what he could have done.
Vlade Divac was not the most charismatic guy, but he told an honest depiction of the whole thing and really translated what the issue meant to him. This was not the most exciting backstory in 30 for 30, but it is one of the more troubling ones and in the end we have to embrace the ideology that we still have basketball I suppose.
