  • Rachael Ray is an awesome Food Network host in "30 Minute Meals"

I think that this is one of the best shows on the Food Network channel. Rachael Ray is my favorite Food Network host and she shows us how she makes the most tastiest food. I don't watch this show a lot. I usually watch this show when I'm in the mood to look at food. Weird, huh?. Anyways, I say that I only watch this show maybe 4-5 times every month. This is one of the shows that my mom and I watch together though and we both love to see what Rachael Ray is making. My mom has used some of Rachael Ray's recipes and the recipe is absolutely delicious. I love how Rachel Ray is always so specific on what ingredients to use in order to make that food. For example, she made the stuffed zucchini and pasta and it was just a tasty recipe. There are other recipes that I remember watching Rachael Ray teaching how to make such Balsamic Grilled Plums With Vanilla Cream, Butter Nut Sundaes, Mini Italian Mud Pies, Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms, Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies with Ice Cream, and many more food that I have seen Rachael Ray make. I used to watch this show a lot when I was 8 years old but now I don't watch it as much I used to. I still enjoy this show and I tune into this show at least maybe 4-5 times every month. Overall, this one of the best shows on Food Network and Rachael Ray is an awesome Food Network host. 10/10

My husband and I are both big RR fans; I like her streamlined style of cooking, my husband thinks she's cute!

I've been cooking for over 30 years... I've cooked my weight in Saltimbocca and Osso Bucco and Risottos, I've cooked for vegetarians, for vegans, for picky eaters and for gourmands. Towards the end of my dad's days, the only time he would eat like he had an appetite was when I'd go over and cook short ribs or hawaiian chicken or Cajun red beans and ham. So I've *cooked*. And I've found that, much as I *can*, I no longer *want* to spend all day in the kitchen making something scrumptious; RR is a terrific alternative for us. I've found that, by using my food processor for recipes with a lot of chopping involved, most of her recipes I can get done in... yes, 30 minutes or less. At the end of it, we have a delicious, easy, satisfying meal with minimal clean-up and a gold star for eating our veggies... What's not to like?

Rachel Ray is well known for her shows at Food Network. This show 30 Minute meals is in my opinion the best one. IN 30 minute meal. Rachel Ray makes a whole meal for 2 for 4 for 6 people in just under 30 minutes. She makes excellent burgers. and steaks. Her Stoup are great and her secrets to fast cooking is awesome. This is one of my favorite past time and although i dont cook like she does i try. She could make you a steak dinner for a cheaper price than going out. or fix your whole family a thanksgiving dinner in an hour, it one of her special shows. She does everything from soup to stew to burgers to salads to pizza to steak to pasta to ice cream and many more.

30 Minute Meals what can i say?

well Rachael Ray she is so annoying her voice, just plain annoying, the way she repeats her words over and over again and what she makes is just ok not the best, I'm not trying to bash her or the show or anything because then again she makes food that isn't hard for people to make and it only takes 30 minutes to make it

how many shows does she need? not as many as she has been given lol ha i guess i have to give her and the show some credit so i will give her and it a 4.1
  • One of my favorite cooking shows.

Everytime I watch the Food Network this is the show I want to watch. A good concept of a cooking show. A whole meal in the time it takes you watch it. Rachael Ray is very entertaining, but she talks way too much and she gets a little annoying. That's why people like her. I watch this show nearly every day and watched this show so many times I memorized the introduction. "I'm Rachael Ray and I make 30 minute meals. Now that means in the time it takes you to watch this program, I'd have a delicious and healthy from start to finish." Most of what she makes looks good. There is only one flaw in the show though. She is pretty to look at, but is really flat. It's not her fault, but I think she has the money to get implants. Other than that, its one of my favorite Food Network shows.

Rachael Ray's "30 Minute Meals" is hands down one of the best shows that the enormously popular and highly reputable "Food Network" has ever done! I truly enjoy her down-to-earth personality first off as it is always pleasant to one's eyes and ears, and better yet I appreciate her culinary creativity in that she always comes up with a fresh, pretty easy-to-fix and ultimately healthy dinner idea in real time (i.e. thirty minutes). And in today's age of revolting drive-up-style "McDonald's" dinners, and subsequently high obesity rate (particularly here in the U.S.), it's amazing to me that she still manages somehow to cut through it all to find a way to make meals that are not just tasty but darn good for the body as well! Oh and on a personal note here, I should know as both myself and a number of other family members have tried out her recipes just to make sure. Anyhow, I really like her show and encourage everyone I know to give it a shot, even if you find her personality a tad grating on the nerves. Personally, I don't know what the hell people (or rather some of the previous reviewers to be specific here) have against her personality, as I find her to be intelligent, sweet and all-around a delight to watch. To each his own I guess, but I find it a little sad and immature that so many people at this site are so put-off by her overly-pleasant demeanor that they'll forgo watching this helpful little cooking show because of it.
  • one of the best cooking shows...

Racheal Ray hosts 30 Minute Meals and it happens to be one of my favorite cooking shows. She always does good recipes fast which is what people need at this day and age. She is also funny and interesting and has great stories to occupy the time. I love Racheal's words like: EVOO and Yummo. She's just an interesting cook. Another thing, it's great to make amazing food like the other chefs, but the thing about 30 Minute Meals is that they are good meals, maybe not amazing, but they are made fast and generally cheaper. Overall, great food show.
  • Cook Rachael Ray makes recipes in 30 minutes! Dishes of all countries are ruined and spoiled as Rachael Ray hosts 30 Minute Disasters.

    "Abysmal"
The worst cooking show invented. Unoriginal in every way and does not take 30 minutes to create a dish that can please somebody. The food is unappetizing, the decoration of the food is awful, and can somebody tell me why some things look like things out of sewers? A no-class, rude, pigsty women should not have their own TV show!! REAL chefs worked their life trying to get their own TV show, and they get canceled, while this type of evil individual gets sky-rocket ratings? I call this bullcrap. Food Network, please take this no-brainer off of TV before the world ends.
  • I like Rachael Ray she is awesome to watch. I like when she makes her meals. I wish I could make them, I try to at least. They look good on tv. I would love to eat them right off the tv. They look that good.

I have some books of her's I try making some of the food in them. It looks so good to me. I like watching her show as well. She is a really awesome person. She really knows how to cook really well. I wish I could cook as good as her, but I know I can't. I like all the food she makes, they look pretty good to eat. I can cook a little bit, not a lot. I wish I could meet her in person. I would like that a lot and I would love to cook with her as well.
  • Cooking for real people.

    8.5
    "Great"
I enjoy watching cooking shows as entertainment, but this is one that I can really use. The recipes use "real world" ingredients and equipment that don't cost an entire paycheck to buy. Rachael Ray describes every step and gives lots of helpful hints. In addition, she provides alternatives for ingredients so you can personalize to your own taste. A lot of "comfort foods" and recipes that can be used for one person or a crowd are included. The set resembles many standard kitchens - no fancy ovens or stovetops - and never seems to change, but that allows you to concentrate on the food. Every recipe is shown from refrigerator and cupboard to serving plate.
  • You either love her or hate her, but Rachael Ray does give us some great ideas for short-cuts in the kitchen.

    8.5
    "Great"
Rachael Ray has really become a phenemenon. She's everywhere, but 30 Minute Meals is where is all began and if you ask me, it is still where her best work is done. She is able to combine fresh ingredients and in her words, "a little help from the store", using prepared and canned ingredients to make pretty "delish" looking meals. There are few classic Rachael moves in each episode, such as carrying all her ingredients in one trip, which she states her mother would not like and there are many Rachaelisms, such as EVOO, which we all know means extra virgin olive oil. I really enjoy this show and its lovable host, however I would throw her talk show in the garbage bowl.
  • Rachael Ray is very pretty and she seems to be smart. I like the way she talks about her family and explains the way she does with food. She's very good at cooking. She's really fast at cooking like less than 30 minutes.

    10
    "Perfect"
This show is fun to watch and it's really interensting. I like watching people cook, it gives more ideas. It's hard to believe that Rachael could carry all those cooking items in her arms, she's really at it that, and she's good at cooking. I watch her cook like everyday.
  • I cannot stand Rachel Ray. I cannot stand any of her shows. I\'d give her a zero for my score but the page won\'t accept it for some dumb reason, even having hit submit a dozen times.

This woman is like nails on a chalkboard with her annoying voice, her annoying stupid \'giggle\' and I\'d like to slap her in the EVOO. I love how everyone is ranting and raving about her ratings on her newest show - well shoot, they interupted a presidential UN address to broadcast it (and no, I am NOT a Bush fan). I\'m sure the ratings were through the roof - DUH!

Her recipes are BORING. She does nothing that isn\'t in Betty Crocker or the Joy of Cooking. And thirty minutes? ARE YOU HIGH!? Did she magically blink those groceries into her kitchen? Ever try getting in and out of the grocery store in Northern Virginia traffic in 30 minutes??? HA! I guess she also has a staff of people to clean up after her as well. You want a 30 minute meal - go to 7/11 and get a frozen burrito and nuke it. She needs to GO! I\'d love Bobby Flay to throw her down - a FLIGHT OF STAIRS!
  • 30 minute meals is a nice and easy solution to cooking great meals fast.

    "Superb"
I have found this show to be helpful because sometimes life is busy. Cooking a meal fast is a requirement in this busy day and age. The meals made on this show are homey and excellent. It is nice to know that we do not have to eat meals from a box. When we need something fast this is it! She also gives helpful tips if you are really running short on time. Leftovers even create great dishes....they can be redone or re created. I have been able to find all of the ingredients used with ease. All of these things make this show very helpful.
  • great cooking show.

30 Minute Meals is a very good cooking show. This show shows you meals that can be made in just 30 minutes.Rachel Ray. I belive is the hosts. It is great to watch. First of all you learn ways how to prepear food. And in just 30 minutes. So that would be great for a party in just a short time
  • You go girl.

This girl can move it. I remember the first time I saw this show. I knew nothing about cooking or food, other than to eat it. I thought she was amazing. 30 minutes? Thats brillant! Especially one episode, there was a minute left in the show and she whipped up a dessert, just off the top of her head. I couldn't stand it. I just thought she was the coolest. After that, I watched the Food Network day in and day out. I just had to cook after that. I HAD to. I still do. This woman's show changed my life. It sounds sappy, but its the truth. I'm a cooking machine, and I've got no signs of stopping.
  • 30 minute meals is a very polar show. Due to the fact that it's host is one of those people you either love or hate.

30 minute meals is a very polar show. Due to the fact that it's host is one of those people you either love or hate. She is a very perky and upbeat person. But after viewing the show and giving her a chance you get to like it. She has a passion and enthusiam for food that comes through. She gives you a unique perspective on food and family. She can be abrasive. Once you give her a chance you will realy like the show. Also the food is good. You can really make this stuff. As opposed to someone like Emeril whose food is a little above the everyday home chef. On a final note as to weather you like or don't like her. At least she is not Guy!

  • Terrific host Rachel Ray shows the world how simple cooking can be and how fast it can become.

    "Perfect"
I watch this show all the time. I dont know why I havent reviewed until now, lol. It is the best cooking show in my opinion. I watch the Food network all the time and no other show comes close to this one. The host is amazing and the food is great.

First of all a good show needs a good host. Rachel Ray is beyond good and even great. SHe has such a strong charisma that you can help but get lost in the show. She has such a presence that is so enjoyable and it makes the funny that much more fun. Her personality is amazing and she knows how to talk to her viewers. Other hosts dont have so much personality they just cook and occasionally talk to whoever is watching. The viewers of 30 minute.. know so much about Rachel Ray. This definately adds to the success of the show. A great host makes a great show.

Second of all the food most of time looks great. Rachel Ray knows what the majority of viewers like to cook and like to know how to cook. Some shows only deal with high class foods but Rachel shows us how to cook some great food that people all across the board like. Most of the food looks great and is what I like. I say most because sometimes she switchs her style and will cook something i am not that interested in but I still watch it.

ANd last, the concept is so fresh. Cooking a whole meal in 30 minutes just sounds so crazy. And some of the stuff she cooks looks like it couldnt be done in 30 minutes. I am often surprised that she pulls it off. It is a great idea and so many people have busy lives that this show helps a lot of them.

A great cooking show and a great show make watching this very fun and enjoyable.

This show is so awsome. and rachel ray is an awsome host. She cooks amazing and delicious (I know i tried a few recipes of hers...and I have her books.) but her awsome meals are made in only half hour, she explains so clearly. And she cooks for the whole family. And most of all her recipes are easy to make. 100% for rachel and 30 minute meals.
  • Rachel Ray is the host of 30 minute meals. It is shown on food network. She makes everthing while your watching, no food has already been made.

    10
    "Perfect"
I like this show because Rachel Ray make all of the food, and nothing has been made beforehand. Her recipies are easy, they taste good, and they anly thake 30 minutes. She makes food for everybodys taste buds. I also like how when she is getting food and spices for the meal she stacks them in her arms, so she doesn't hane to make more than one trip. Remember if you want a good home cooked meal, but don't have much time watch 30 minute meals.
  • Good show but it could use some improvement

    8.1
    "Great"
I like 30 minute meals and the fact that it tends to use (most of the time) items which can be obtained from most gorumet type stores. However, a lot of what is featured is not easily available from your local piggly wiggly (not everyone has a gorumet type store in their backyard).

It is obvious over the years of watching this show that Rachael eats what she cooks & a lot of it (or she thinks she can wear Terri Hatcher's jeans).

My only real complaint to this show is the show is suppose to be geared toward families and I do like my children to watch it as it encourages them to get in the kitchen but the fact Rachael constantly has to feature an adult beverage bothers me as it is promoting the wrong message. It is time for Rachael to put a way the bottle and consider Jenny Craig...
  • Racheal Ray shares quick 30 minute meal recipes with you.

I love the recipes she gives on this but one of the main reasons I watch this show is because of Racheal, um . . . I can't think of the word I want to use but like her attitude maybe. She is always bubbley, really happy, or on cloud 9 all the time. I mean I don't belive I have sawher when she was not happy!

    Also [as metioned in the first sentence] I love the food. They are quick and very good.I love them! ok . . . . . . well . . . . . .
  • Rachel, This is not a review about any specific segement of your show. I love them all...so does my 10 year old grandson, Cole. Please read my review below. Keep on cookin!!!

I actually gave him one of your cook books for Christmas and he prepared the steak with the Chipolte pepper rub with the cilantro butter with lime. It was great! He wants to come and be on your show and show you how to make \"Cole\'s Pizza\" and \"Cole\'s Chicken Parmesean\". He loves to watch your show and stops whatever he is doing to watch. Can you help us out? Thanks! Janice

I feel so dumb watching the show cuase the food is good but she is so hot. BUT let me stress that she can be really anoying at times. But her food and so hotness wins out.

Now they are making me write 100 words or more to have this review count. Why? What if this is all I really need to or want to say about this show. Food is good. Host is Hot. What more is there to say. Great now I have to kill another twelve words to submit this. We need more shows like this one on the TV The End

Ok, I say that it's a guilty pleasure because I'm a man and I really like this show. It doesn't hold a candle to Good Eats with Alton Brown, but it's right there with it. I think that Rachael Ray is a very bright and friendly character that really shows her love for food through this show. She has numerous recipes that just flat out give you that "good ol home cooking" feeling. Great show, great host, and definetly worth the time!
