The fact that Jack has taken the job with the government for Homeland Security, Extreme Weather Preparedness and the War on the Poor, amazes Liz. Jack tells Liz that he does not plan on returning to GE.



Kenneth is trying to apply for a job as a page for the summer Olympics in Beijing and Donnie Lawson, his rival page at NBS, is doing his best to try to keep Kenneth from applying before the deadline.



Meanwhile, Jenna and Grizz decide to lend their voices for the porno video game that Tracy is working on. Grizz is doing an excellent job, while on the other hand, Jenna's acting is unbelievable. She tries to improve by really getting into the part which leaves all the guys aroused.



Jack meets Cooter Burger, who works in his new office. Jack is shocked when he finds out that employees do not receive supplies of pens. Jack makes a stand for change and says that it all starts with the pens.



Kenneth is struggling to complete his job application before the deadline. He tells Jenna that he is having a hard time because he does not know how to talk about himself in a bragging way. Out of frustration, he throws the application away and Jenna tells herself that she is going to help aid Kenneth.



Jack receives a call from his old assistant who tells him that Don Geiss said two words while being comatose. He said, "Jackie Boy." Jack takes this as a sign that he should go back to his job at GE. When he tries to quit his current job, Cooter tells him that he cannot resign.



Liz finds out that she is pregnant when her test comes back positive. She starts worrying but Jenna assures her that Floyd is not that bad. Liz discloses to Jenna that the last person she actually had sex with was Dennis. She starts thinking about what a great single mom she would make.



Cooter tells Jack that he cannot resign because Cooter himself has been trying to quit for the past two years but the government would not let him. Cooter reveals that his actual name is James Reilly and that he received his nickname from the president. Cooter tells Jack that he wants to leave with him and since resigning is not tolerable, they devise a plan to get fired together.



Dennis shows up at Liz's apartment and tells her that he knows that she is pregnant. He is excited to raise the baby with Liz and even has picked out the baby's name.



Jenna creates a DVD with Kenneth's good deeds on it for Kenneth's Summer Olympic application. Kenneth has just a few minutes to make the deadline and he rushes his application to the 27th floor and barely turns it in before time runs out.



Jack and Cooter decide to get CC, Jack's ex, to help them get fired. She agrees to help by making it appear that the men are incompetent at performing their jobs. When Jack has some time for himself, he goes through his voicemails and hears Liz say that she found out that she is not actually pregnant.



Jack visits Liz and finds out that she had been told by her doctor that her large consumption of cheese curls had caused the false pregnancy test results. This whole situation makes Liz realize that she really does want to be a mother before time runs out. Jack tells Liz that he will help her adopt a baby.
