Jack tells Liz that there is lots of money to be made in real estate. Liz is surprised to hear that she is one of the few persons who has not joined this trend. Jenna owns property and Frank does as well. Jenna tells Liz about some popular property she could invest in.
Jack and C.C., despite the long distance, are adamant at making their relationship work. They agree that they need to meet halfway. Jack thinks she means this literally, and he arranges to meet C.C. in a town in Pennsylvania since it is precisely the halfway point from her office in Washington, DC to his office in New York.
Liz tells Jack that she will watch German DVDs so that she can help him prepare for his Northern European TV take-over but when she has to do an interview with the board for the property she wants to buy, she passes the duties to an excited Kenneth.
C.C. and Jack decide to dispose of their cell phones and focus on each other. Back in New York, the Germans arrive early to meet Jack for his take-over but he is nowhere to be found. Liz uses her German vocabulary and meets with the Germans.
Liz starts to get nervous when the co-op board has not called her back with an answer on the apartment she was looking into. After drinking more wine than necessary, she decides to continually call them while leaving drunken messages each time.
Liz totally ruins the German takeover and Jack has to choose between C.C and his job. He travels to Pennsylvania and is upset when he realizes that CC is in Washington. She calls him saying that her job is too important. They both agree to mutually break up and tell each other that they will get it right perhaps in another life.
Kenneth, addicted to coffee, wants to break the habit and decides to move back home to Georgia, but he misses the train. The cast starts singing yet they are interrupted when Gladys Knight complains, telling them that she is trying to nap.
