This week, Liz is excited about her vacation week. She comes in excited and asks where the crew is going for vacation. However, the crew doesn't get next week off. She continues walking with one tan hand – which is tested the spray tan on for her vacation. When Kenneth walks in sick – Liz explains she cannot get sick because of her upcoming trip. The place she goes to has soft serve ice cream and private beaches. And, she can wear dark socks at the beach. She is very insistent on going year after year.

Liz goes to Dr. Spaceman who is giving out flu shots. She finds out that the shots are given to a select few employees. Jack asks Liz to tell him the most important staff that should receive flu shots. She doesn't agree that he should ration out health care. Liz decides not to receive the shot to stand in solidarity with the others. Jack considers giving sick Kenneth one of the remaining shots. Kenneth refuses and says he can die as a page doing his job. He will have the traditional burial, wrapped in the confederate flag, fried and fed to dogs. Jack asks Liz again and again she refuses. This time, she displays her solidarity in front of the crew who show her their appreciation. They will "fight the powers that be."

However, as the day goes by, she sees that everyone around her is getting sick. Everyone looks sick and diseased – they morph into zombies. Even Pete is sick and turns into a zombie. She panics and wants to get the shot because of her special vacation. Liz finally gives in, takes back everything she said and gets the flu shot.

Meanwhile, Jenna and Tracy decide they want to help the sick crew. They think about getting the crew soup but are too lazy to actually do it themselves. They usually get Kenneth to get their soup but he's too sick to do it. Then Jenna gets the idea to give them the best medicine: laughter. They put on a very unsuccessful show where they end up pie-ing Liz in the face. The crew stands up for Liz but sees the band aid on her arm where she received the shot.

Liz then confesses that she chose the vacation over the crew. She further explains that there is a gentleman involved. She wants to take on him as her island lover. In the end, she sucks pie off her shirt.
