Yes, he was Kenneth's backwoods cousin...and he was very good.

Good all-around episode. The "Kenneth rescues Tracy" story was all fun, especially Kenneth throwing himself down the stairs just to get an ambulance "escort." I also enjoyed the whole storyline involving Jack's heart problems. Nice to know that he's honestly proud of Liz...

But the best part was the hilarious joke about Jenna's scenes getting cut. I love it when shows poke fun at themselves...

I'm just got into this show but I really enjoyed this episode. I thought Jack's mom was histerical and I cracked up at "Tell him I love him, but not in a queer way". I thought the end scene between Jack and Liz was great, they have a lot of chemistry. It seems they are setting up the possibility of those two being a couple in this finale. Paralleling him not loving his fiance with her being happy of the idea of breaking up with her boyfriend was obviously intentional.  The writers are probably waiting to see what the fan reaction to that will be and go from there. Personally I don't know if that would work as it would sort of mess up the dynamic of the show but who knows.

Tracy was funny as always and I just love his friendship with Kenneth and how he really does consider him his best friend. Kenneth's falling down the stairs was great too. Overall an amazing finale in my opinion.

Don't tell me you missed the finale.

My favorite moment was when Spaceman walked in with the bloody white coat, then explained that he killed his friend's dog. My second favorite was probably when "Gordon" tried to hook up with a local.

Fantastic season finale. Favourite line: "Don't worry, I was at a costume party and the hosts dog attacked me. So I had to stab it." That floored me!

No cliffhanger, I was expecting something to come along to make you wonder about next season. But no, a nice ending to the season that doesn't leave me hanging (as I suppose a cliffhanger would do). Can't wait for next season though!

Yes, this was an excellent episode, and a great wrap-up for the season. Dr. Spacemen is a great B-character: hilariously, inept, if a bit one-note. "And I believe he has scurvy, because he keeps asking for Lemon."
I really love Kenneth. More of him would be great. And I'd completely forgotten that Cherie (is that her name?) was in this show until she popped up. Although all she really does is look incredibly cute. Did she ever get married?
And it did look like the writers are toying with putting Liz and Jack together. I actually don't have that big of an opinion on that, really.

Spaceman stole the episode with his hilarious lines. Other than the two previously mentioned there was the classic "They're giving away pretzels in the lobby!" as Jack was having another heart attack. Seriously, I love Parnell in that role. Made the entire show worth it to me. Hope to see more of him next season, if there is one...

There WILL be a next season. The show has already been renewed, despite low ratings. We're not real sure who will be back as part of the cast though...

I think the low ratings explain the lack of a major cliffhanger. The finale was likely shot before the show got renewed, so they probably didn't want to leave things really unresolved, just in case it turned out to be the series finale. But despite not having a major cliffhanger, there are still several questions to ponder as next season begins, both on and off screen. Will the sexual tension between Jack and Liz ever develop into anything? Will Liz officially give up on Floyd? Will Jane Krakowski and Alec Baldwin return? Will any of the minor characters get bumped up to regulars? Time will tell...

I LOVED this episode. And as a Jack/Liz shipper, I'm very pleased :-) Sean Hayes was hilarious! "I laughed so hard! I really riled up the wolfes!" Hehe. I LOVE Jack's mother and how dissapointed she looked when she saw Phoebe. Hehe, Jack's mom is a Jack/Liz shipper too, awww.

It didnt really feel like a finale because there was no cliffhanger, and no major storyline at all. However, it was nice that everyone basically got a moment on screen, even if they didnt have lines... Lutz, Jenna, Cerie, etc. (although I didnt really see Frank and Toofer.) I love Kenneth, and Jack's Mom is a hoot. I guess since they dont know exactly who's coming back next season, they couldnt do much of a cliffhanger. The "bye, see you after the summer" on the tv screen in the hospital room was a nice touch.

It was a short season, but it was a funny one. Now if only Studio 60 comes back....

I honestly don't see any possibility in a Jack/Liz relationship. True, they have great chemistry, but it's not sexual or loving. I see it as mentor/mentee chemistry. Friend/friend chemistry. Hell, even father/daughter chemistry. Not once did I ever think to myself "Oh, God, just kiss her!" They just don't go together like that.

I've said this many times, if 30 Rock ever puts Jack and Liz together, I'm calling MAJOR "jumping the shark."

With that said, a terrific season finale. I love NBC's Comedy Night Done Right, and I physically/mentally/emotionally/spiritually LOVE The Office and Scrubs... but 30 Rock continues to blow them out of the water (even though The Office had a great episode last night, and Scrubs was better than usual).

I have one problem with the show, though. I care a great deal for all of the characters on The Office and Scrubs. When bad/good/wierd things happen to those characters I feel for them. I don't feel yet for any of the characters on 30 Rock. Not even Liz (Liz would be the most though). I really think that is what is hurting 30 Rock so bad. I tune in for the jokes, not the show itself. We need some kind of emotional pull for this show and these characters.

So, there you go Tina Fey. Some summer homework. I expect an A+ come September.

Great things about this episode?: Emily Mortimer has BEEN great and had one of the funniest lines of the episode, "I can't, I have vertigo." Kenneth was terrific in this episode, and his "sacrifice" was so "dramatic" and perfect for 30 Rock. Tracy's constant "I have a lot on my plate right now" responses were great too.

Wow, this is one long ass post.

You donb't see any sexual tension AT ALL?? Wow... In fact even people on TWOP, who has neve rseen any vibes between them before, saw it in this week's episode.  They are clearly interested in eachother. Liz even looked a little pleased when Jack said he wouldn't marry Phoebe

Another Dr. Spaceman moment was his sex book, which featured him in all the pictures. I love that fact that all the positions guaranteed a MALE orgasm, and that he was proud of that.

Looking back at this episode, I don't think they played out the Liz-Floyd thing properly. Maybe if they'd made more of a big deal about it, it would've felt more complete. But then there was a lot to happen in this episode.

As a season, there wasn't a lot of Jenna, Josh, Frank, or Cerie in the last part of the season. They seemed to be in the background way too much.

I didn't miss the finale, I had the channel on and the volume up loud but my neighbors came over to complain about the "noise" level b/c of my dogs barking, so there were so many interuptions!!!! I would never MISS the entire ep.

Ladies and gentleman, may I present the last person on Earth that hasn't given up on S60SS.

But in all seriousness, for how much it cost and how many people are still watching, Studio 60 is done. Personally, they lost me after about the third episode.

This was an awesome way to end the season.  It was nice tying up story lines instead of leaving us hanging whether the Black crusaders had got Tracy, whether Jack was going to get married, etc.  You guys already mentioned all my favorites lines- the vertigo, Jack's mom's queer line, the MALE organism- fantastic!

On the Jack/Liz scene I thought it was more Jack showing he was proud of Liz's professional work in a mentor/mentee way rather than in a romantic way.  Is "proud" a term you'd use with someone you have romantic feelings for?  I did like that Jack's mom liked Liz rather than Pheobe though!  I want them to bring Phoebe back for an episode where her Long Island accent is revealed.

    oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh its over

but it was another amazing episode!! the great thing about 30 rock, unlike any other show on tv i don't actually think they have had a single bad episode!!! top quality tv for 21 episodes!! this show should win awards for years to come. its just 'aws'

    i love love love it!

...not sure about Jack and liz getting together though - it might be a bit weird. i think they have a really good working relationship and they definately have onscreen presence together when they share a scene. i think Jack is really sweet to Liz, and they obviously do like each other. but i can't really see them romantically linked. i mean Jack doesn't date women his age, or even her age, lol. Although it can't be a coincidence that Liz actually dated someone who was so much like Jack.

i liked Floyd, and i didn't really like the way they left it between those two. One minute they're talking about moving humidifiers into his apartment and stuff and the next she's not even fussed that they've broken up. what a whorl wind relationship!!

also they didn't tie up what Phoebe was about... is she really a Gold digger? does she really have avian bone syndrome and is she really english? (lol i loved that moment when Liz heard her slip of the tongue. i love when they allude to other shows/films)
