Jack brings Liz with him to a dinner at Gavin Volure's Connecticut home. Gavin is one of his very wealthy business idols. He is also agoraphobic. Gavin is attracted to Liz. After dinner that night, Gavin tells Jack that he is forming another company and that he will let Jack be part of it.



Gavin surprises Liz by calling her at work. He invites her back to his house to spend the weekend. Liz worries that Gavin is only interested in a "booty call" type of relationship but he reassures her that he just wants to see her.



Tracy gets nervous now that his sons want to spend so much time with him. He sees a special about the Menendez brothers, who were famous for killing their parents. Tracy is convinced that his sons are plotting a scheme to kill him.



Liz ends up going to Gavin's and she asks him how he makes relationships work since he doesn't ever go outside. He says they just sit around, watch television, read gossip websites, eat, and nap. Gavin also discloses that due to his phobias, he cannot be intimate with women. Liz starts to think that maybe a relationship with Gavin could work.



As Liz gets ready to leave after a wonderful weekend with Gavin, he tells her that he is not really agoraphobic. It's actually a cover because he is under house arrest for arson and fraud. This news shocks Liz. Because of this, Jack feels bad for investing Kenneth's money with Gavin so he hires Kenneth as an emergency marshal to make up for it.



Tracy buys a life-Japanese sex doll that looks like him to use as a decoy for his sons. Tracy offers to buy Liz a similar sex doll if she would like. Later, Tracy realizes that he overreacted with his sons but he does warn them that they will face jail time if he ends up dying.



Gavin escapes out of house arrest and shows up at Liz's work. He tells her he was on his way to the Canadian border but he came back to be with her. She accuses him of being a scammer and he denies it. He asks Liz to join him in Canada.



Jack accuses Gavin of trying to take advantage of Liz. Gavin says he will not be taken back to confinement and climbs to the top of the set and threatens to jump. As his job as the new floor emergency marshal, Kenneth, arrives on the scene to help.



Jack tries to talk Gavin out of committing suicide while Tracy tackles Gavin, bringing him down. Gavin had thought that Tracy was with Jack the whole time, but it turns out it was actually the life-like Japanese sex doll!
