Goodbye my friend,

- In this episode Liz and Pete go to a donut show to get food after the broadcast. A teen who is going to have a baby wants to give it up for adoption. Liz jumps on this and wants to have it, trying to make the girl feel nice. In the end the guy comes back and Liz gets no kid. Jenna's b-day is coming and yet Kenneth wants to make Tracy feel good because he never had a birthday. Jenna gets up set and problem solved. Jack goes out with the guys after the show to get his mind of Elisa. He winds up getting Frank to quit the show and go back to law school. In the end it didnt work. Overall i didnt like this one, it was a rehapsed idea and boring.moreless

I have to compliment how well-written this episode was. The Harry and the Hendersons tie in to the overall plot was well-done and everything came together in the end like an episode of Seinfeld.

Yet as smart as this was, there was still the general nuttiness that we all love from 30 Rock. From Tracy Morgan being born inside Yankee Stadium, to Jack mocking the writers' profession and of course the random appearance by John Lithgow.

The beginning of Season 3, when it took the Will and Grace approach of having big name stars every week was sub-par but this show has really become great again over the past few episodes.moreless

Funny, funny, funny episode! Jack decides to bond with the guys of the show to keep his mind of Elise and to not be tempted by other women. He especially bonds with Frank, because they both had their fathers walk out on them at a young age. They are watching "Harry at the Henderson's" starring "John Lithgow" analyzing the father/son symbolism of the movie. Jack wanting to help Frank sets him up with a full scholarship at Columbia University Law School. Franks mom invites Jack over for dinner and smacks him upside the head. She explains that Franks father, his father's farther and so on were all lawyers for the Mob and all end up relocated or dead and that he has to take away the scholarship.

Liz is buying donuts and there is a pregnant teenager named Becca there and her scheming wheels start turning. The girl is trying to get in touch with her boyfriend but can't. Liz decides to stay with her and try to find out if she is going to put the baby up for adoption. The next day Liz brings Becca in as a youth consultant. Liz is subtly doing everything she can to let her adopt the baby. Finally the boyfriend shows up and Liz is doing everything she can to get him to leave until the presence of John Lithgow in a Harry at the Henderson's reference. She makes the right choice and takes Tim to Becca so they can be together and convinces them to have and take care of their baby.

It is Jenna's birthday party and she doesn't want to be upstaged, but Kenneth realizes Tracy has never had a birthday part and suggests to Jenna they share. Jenna being the self-centered person she is reluctantly agrees. She also shows a dress to Kenneth that she is going to where and tells him to not let anyone else wear it. When the party comes Jenna is in waiting to make a big entrance. Tracy blows out his candles and everyone make a big to do about it. When Jenna is about to step out, Cerie Xerox steps in front of her wearing the same dress saying her father got everyone tickets to see the Yankees. Jenna puts on back support trying to get attention, but gets none. Later on Kenneth, Griss, and Dottcom are trying to figure out what Tracy wished for and Jenna comes around the corner in wheelchair. Kenneth asks her to help and she gets angry and out of the wheelchair complaining that she cannot get any attention. As she is pulling of the back support Tracy comes around the corner and says "I got my wish, Jenna has been healed"; Jenna is happy and her ego is back in check.

Funny episode with multiple plots to follow.moreless

This was a good episode in the sense, the storyline was good and it sure did have some funny moments. What we witnessed here were three different plots out of which one was a standalone plot and the other two seemed to connect at the end.

Liz tries to pamper a pregnant teenager in a dysfunctional relationship, so that she would give Liz her baby. A drunk Frank reveals to Jack about his stint at Columbia law school, and what prompted him to drop out. Jack tries to send him back to school by using his connections. Kenneth, Dotcom, and Griz plan to celebrate a combined birthday party for Jenna and Tracy, and end up neglecting Jenna. The story was well weaved and had some funny moments like Dotcom and Kenneth making Tracy's birthday wish list that would include a painting elephant, a robo-cop replica, and something else I forgot in a fit of laughter. Not something like the good old times, but definitely a worthy watch.moreless

Very nice episode, that included Laws of Life into it was well as comedy. I liked it when it Jack went to bars and got drunk with Frank. They revealed a lot of secrets to one another and Jack decided to put him back to law school as it was his dream. When Jack goes to meet Frank's mom, she tells him that if he becomes a lawyer, he is going to work for the mafia and be killed.. so in the end Jack forces him back into the writing room by mimicking Harry and the Hendersons. Kenneth throw Tracy his first birthday party and shares it with Jenna, who is trying all she can to get everyone's attention. Lemon tries to adopt a teenage mother's baby, but the father comes before Lemon gets it.moreless
