  • 30 Rock "Governor Dunston" Review: Going for It

It appears that in its last season, 30 Rock is trying to fit in all of the storylines that are too good not to get made.

It was a good character played by Bryan Cranston here, but the show is just reaching for straws, or really anything, for laughs these days. There was no direction here, no logical explanation for any of it, and just really lazing writing. The show basically said, "Jack says something about Republicans, Jenna dismisses people, this is hilarious!" But it's not.
