"Tracy Sr. ran out of here quick. He really did not like living here."

I have the same problem with my dog. But another great episode of 30 Rock. Fans got two of the best episodes of the season back to back here tonight. This was a brilliant take on the Conan and Jay Leno late night situation. "I want the tonight shift!" I thought Seth Meyers described it best months ago with his rant about wives, but 30 Rock topped that here.

The Tracy humor was as outlandish as ever and I think he secured yet another Emmy nomination with his work.

    Funny, funny stuff here.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Liz: You think when I was a kid I dreamed of someday paying $1,200 for a karaoke machine to impress a bunch of pasty losers?!?

    • Jack: Oh, my, I haven't seen your brow that furrowed since you saw that picture of Helen Mirren in a bikini.
Liz: How is it possible? Is she a wizard?

    • Tracy: This is bad! Because I can't change, I'm like a chameleon—always a lizard!

    • Tracy: Parties are like frisbees; if you throw them the wrong way, they'll veer off in a bad direction, and then your kid will fall into a quarry. Don't throw a party for vengeance; it'll turn on you, like your wife after your kid has fallen into a quarry.

  • NOTES (2)

    • The German episode title is "Das Hausmeister-Problem", meaning "The Janitor Problem".

    • International Airdates: Australia: May 23, 2010 on Channel 7; Latin America: June 3, 2010 on Sony Entertainment Television (a.k.a. Canal Sony); United Kingdom: June 14, 2010 on Comedy Central; Czech Republic: May 25, 2012 on Prima COOL

    • Liz sings "Ain't no party like a Liz Lemon party 'cause a Liz Lemon party is mandatory!" telling the staff they have to come to her engagement party for Cerie by playing off a lyric from Coolio's "1, 2, 3, 4 (Sumpin' New)", whose actual line is "ain't no party like a west coast party 'cause a west coast party don't stop".
