Larry King,

- In this episode Liz and Pete make Tracy appear on Larry King to promote the show. Instead Tracy does not promote the show and instead goes on another rampage of what to do when the economy fails. Which it does during the episode. Tracy's words and actions cause the city, the state, the country, the world to go into a panic. While Jack's workplace is going into disaster. But he must think if staying with Elisa is best idea. In the end he goes with Elsia but Elisa leaves him. Liz looses her cell phone and taxi driver is mean. Tracy hides his money on kenneth and that's it. Overall i did not like this episode. The only good part is when the cast and crew searches the studio for Tracy's money.

So much happened it such a short time, it was is hard to put into words. Liz looses her cell phone and a cab driver has it. He finds an adult picture of her on the phone and holds it hostage for $2000. Tracy is giving an interview to Larry King throughout the episode. During the interview there is a news flash that the Asian stock market is crashing and Larry King asks Tracy for his opinion. What happens when Tracy gives his opinion turns New York City upside down. Tracy talks about how he has hidden money all over the place including at work. All of the guys at work are tearing the place apart looking for the money. In the meantime Jack is trying to move things to the next level with Elisa and in the aftermath of that some corporate flunkies come into his apartment and show him how much money NBC is going to loose and the Guise cannot be found anywhere. He leaves to go back to the office making Elise angry telling Jack she is going back to Puerto Rico. Jack finds Elise waiting for a cab to go to the airport but the cab cost $500 thanks to Tracy on Larry King Live. Jack apologizes to her and asks her to marry him and she agrees. Liz is looking for someone to go with her to get her cell phone from the taxi driver but everyone at the office is to busy looking for Tracy's money. Kenneth agrees to go with her but they part ways when Kenneth finds out Liz was using him and lied to him. Liz finally meets up with the taxi driver and she doesn't have the money and he is threatening to send the picture to everyone in her address book on the cell phone. All of the sudden Kenneth appears and says he is her friend. Kenneth realizes from Tracy's clue that the money everyone at the office is looking for is hidden on him. He finds the money and pays the man to get Liz's cell phone back.



The next morning, the US markets are not affected by the Asian market drop or what Tracy Jordan had said on Larry King. Jack gets a recoding from Elisa that she has gone back to Puerto Rico to sort things out.



This was one whacked out episode; Tracy Jordon on Larry King Live responding too a financial crisis on another continent causing mayhem in New York City. Great Episode!!

Liz and Jack had their own separate adventures and what a pleasure it was to watch! I thought the writing could not have been better. Kenneth had a great turn in this episode. It was actually a surprising move when he abandoned Liz in the shady neighborhood, but I can understand why he left. Besides NBC, friendships are the most important thing to Kenneth. When Liz said they weren't friends, that had to hurt Kenneth a great deal. He proved what a good person he is by showing up to defend Liz from the cab driver. Another example of why he's my favorite character on the show. Larry King playing himself was a treat. I'm glad he appeared in more than one scene. I loved how he bought into all of Tracey's market crash advice and his misidentification of callers. What I didn't like was his co-workers blatantly trying to steal from him back at 30 Rock. Though the money was sort of stolen by Kenneth, at least it went to a better cause.

Well, I wouldn't say this was a painfully boring episode to watch, but however - a few good one-liners here and there made the installment pretty watchable.



Tracy goes on Larry King live and creates ripples amongst the NYC crowd, by proclaiming the end of the world when the Asian markets take a nose dive. Liz's cellphone winds up with a cab driver, and he demands 2 grand for it, or he'll send a compromising picture of her to everyone in the address book. Jack proposes to Eliza to prevent her from going to Puerto Rico, but she still does go nevertheless. Pete, Frank, and Tupper ransack Tracy's room after he reveals on Larry King that he has hidden his cash in his room.



Multiple storylines, unrelated in the beginning but somehow related in the end. We've seen such a formula about a million times. I would still say that the initial stuff of a show within a show will represent what 30 rock really is. Such weirdo storylines are not required.

Just when I was losing faith in the prospect of 30 Rock completing the trifecta and winning a third consecutive Emmy for Outstanding comedy series they bang out an episode like this.



Larry King was clueless, but that was part of what made it funny and Tracy Jordan was just ridiculous claiming that Jackie Chan, not Chris Tucker replaced him in Rush Hour.



There was an absurd amount of pop-culture references dropped here, but we should know by now to expect that from 30 Rock. Luckily the show makes up for it with some of the best acting, and the very best writing on TV.



Not much else can be said other than this truly was a great episode of TV.
