Everyone is celebrating Christmas at TGS. Liz's parents and brother are coming to New York to visit her. Jack is pleased that his mother won't be able to make the trip to visit him. It turns out that she does indeed show up.
Tracy misses his court date and as punishment, the judge makes him wear an ankle monitor for 30 days. This means that Tracy cannot have alcohol at "Ludachristmas," the TGS Christmas party. Liz bans Tracy from the party to ensure that he does not slip on drinking.
Liz is stoked to see her family at work. Mitch, her brother, had suffered from a ski accident in 1985 and now he has a disorder where he cannot remember things that happened after the incident. Jenna tells the crew that even though Mitch is stuck in 1985, he has grown a lot sexually. This fact grosses out Liz.
Jack is amazed at how normal and tight-knit Liz's family is. Jack attempts to get into the holiday spirit by inviting his mother to spend time with him for Christmas.
Jack gets invited to go ice-skating by Liz's parents and he is very much eager to get away from his judgmental mother. Liz tries to get Jack to confess that he wishes he were a 'Lemon'. Then Jack's mother shows up and she accepts an invitation to the Lemon family dinner.
Kenneth is upset and offended by how the crew is treating the meaning of Christmas. He gets a reverend to come in, hoping that the staff will realize the true significance of the holiday. Tracy admits that he was drinking alcohol before the party started.
Jack's mother tries to make the point that the Lemons are just as messed up and imperfect as any other family. Liz lets it slip during dinner that Mitch is really 40 and turmoil ensues. The Lemons start to loudly fight and Jack's mom feels great knowing that she just proved her point to Jack.
Jenna sings Christmas carols to everyone at the holiday party. Jack feels much closer to his mother and the two of them bond while watching the Lemons fight.
