Episode Recap

The New York Post runs a story about Jack, including a very negative quote from one of the TGS writers calling him a "Class-A Moron" and also saying that he can "eat their poo." Liz goes to Jack's office feeling bad about the story that was printed but it turns out that Jack is happy because his show, MILF Island, has become very popular on NBC.

Before she leaves his office, he tells her that he saw The New York Post article which is bad timing given where he is in his career. He tells Liz to take action to find out who is to blame.

Kenneth helps her eliminate the possible writer that could have ran their mouth to the Post. Suddenly, Kenneth realizes that he heard Liz say that line when she was venting about Jack to a New York Post gossip reporter the previous week.

Kenneth tells Liz that she should admit what happened to Jack and tell him how it was a mistake. She goes into Jack's office, about to do it, but it turns out that Jack is ready to make a confession of his own. He tells her about being made fun of in the past because he had a stuttering problem and that his school called him a "A Moron." Liz feels horrible about everything and she does not have the heart to tell Jack that it was her quote.

Jack traps all the writers in his lobby and as a resort to get someone to confess, he turns the heat way up. Jack asks to hear Kenneth's list of usual suspects and Kenneth does not name Liz.

The writers start blaming each other for the New York Post article after they all go crazy while being trapped in the lobby. Soon total mayhem takes place.

Kenneth can no longer take the intense heat and he takes the blame. After Kenneth's pseudo confession, Jack tells him that he let the company down and Kenneth's actions have personally hurt him. He excuses Kenneth from the office.

Liz goes to her office later and finds Jack there. Jack does not think that Kenneth is the real person to blame for the article because his story just does not make sense. Liz gives in and confesses. It turns out that Jack knew it was her the whole time, due to the phrase "eat my poo." In hopes of making Liz feel guilty about what she had done, he had made up the childhood story. She owes him and therefore agrees to write the proposed talk show for the winner of MILF Island.
