While i've always enjoyed this show and admired it's clever dialogue 'Secrets and Lies' had me laughing out loud on several occasions, especially during the final scene.

When Jack confesses at his executive lunch his relationship with Democratic Congressperson C.C this triggers a whole bunch of similar confessions from his peers.

    'My children attend public schools'

    'I'm gay'

'I'm black' (this from an African American man!!)

and finally, and this closes the episode.......

    'I murdered my wife'

C.C also confesses to voting for Ronald Reagan in 1984.

My fave quote and the one that had me laughing uncontrollably.......'she'll tax us to death and make it legal for a man to marry his own dog.' Delivered completely dead pan by Alec Baldwin.

In short,a wonderful episode that may convince the Seven Network here in Australia to screen '30 Rock' earlier than 11.30 p.m!!moreless

    30 Rock,
    Secret and Lies,
So this is my second time writing this. Strangley it didnt come out o well. So in this episode CC wonts to come out with the relationship between her and Jack. Jack doesnt wont to do it because he is afraid that it might damage his work. In the end he does it infront of his peirs. With funny results...OTHER...Jenna gets mad with Liz for all the attention that Liz gives more attention to Tracy. So she decideds to act like Tracy. Which in the end Liz confronts her and problem solved...OTHER...Another part in the show is a fight between to coworkers which wasnt funny.moreless

This show is becoming my new "Scrubs" out of nowhere jokes that crack me up while having me say "WHAAA"

bros before hoes policy, jack can't let the world know about CC and him, but he eventually does the right thing.

Liz needs to get herself together, too much stuff bad stuff goin on for her. a bra held with tape? really. hilariously sad. she does too much for those people, we haven't seen her happy for more than half an episode ever. it's just sad, she like the coyote that u want to catch the road runner and be happy for once. • How to wrangle Divas & carry on a forbidden romance!

This was such a funny episode (as always).

The storyline involving Jenna & Tracy being needy diva-actors was hilarious. Jenna's random gay entourage, and Tracy's fake award acceptance speech was enough to make a good episode right there. Liz' demeanor during the fake award show was priceless.

Jack's forbidden love affair came to a climax as he "came out" to his colleagues. I think that scene was so brilliant. It satirized society and showed us no matter where we are "affiliated", no two people are alike and no two people have the same thoughts about the world. So everyone got acceptance for breaking down their particular stereotypes!

Liz taping her bra, also classic. And I really admire the closing scene where all the writers were picking on Josh. Beyond that, you could sense genuine joy and camraderie in that room, as must be true of most TV writer's rooms. Overall, an excellent episode---cajun style!moreless
