Jack tells C.C. in the office that no one will catch them having sex because it is too early for "creative types." He had also sent his assistant to a fake bakery in the Bronx so they should be good. Liz ends up walking in right as they are getting really heated and Jack introduces C.C. as a business associate named Leticia Gutierrez Arafat. Liz gets out of there fast.

The feud between Frank and Toofer reaches a high point when Frank starts dressing very Harvard-like and says that he graduated from Toofer's alma mater. Jack comes clean to Liz about his involvement with C.C. Liz is surprised that Jack would consider dating a liberal congresswoman who is suing the corporation. Jack tells her that it is getting serious and he tells Liz to go to dinner with all of them so that she could meet C.C.

Jenna wins an award for "Best Actress in a Movie Based on a Musical Based on a Movie" and Tracy goes crazy and exits the set since he has never actually won an award. Liz tells Tracy that he won an award for the Pacific Rim Emmys to make him go back to work. Tracy is excited with the news.

Frank makes Toofer mad by wearing Toofer's exclusive Harvard pin on his crotch. Tracy asks Liz about the date of the Pacific Rim Emmy Awards so he can fly out to receive the award in person. Liz makes up a lie and says that it happens tonight and that it does not air until 4 a.m. Tracy says he will still accept it by live telecast, and Liz agrees to set it up.

Liz goes to the dinner, and realizes that Kenneth is the only other guest. Jack apologizes about it and says that he does not want anyone to find out just yet so he could only invite someone with "no influence or connections," meaning Liz. He had invited Kenneth so she could talk to someone.

Liz sets up the staged award ceremony for Tracy. Tracy does not thank Jenna in his speech and he also pulls down her top since he believes he is on broadcast television. Jenna tells Liz she is sick of the way Tracy can get away with being childish and says she will act in the same way.

C.C. tells Liz that she wants to go public with her relationship with Jack and she does not want to have to sneak around any longer just to be with him. Liz assures CC that Jack is in love with her.

Toofer starts to dress up like Frank in slob chic apparel. They continue to insult each other and neither of them stop bickering or take off the costumes. C.C. approaches Jack and says that she settled the lawsuit so that they can go public with their love for each other. Jack thinks that she is doing it so that she can get publicity for her career and C.C. hints that she never should have taken Liz's advice.

Jenna refuses to work. Meanwhile, Jack gets mad at Liz for giving C.C. the idea to go public. Jack meets with James Carville about being in a relationship with someone in the enemy political arena and Carville advises him to get ahead of the news "Cajun-".

Later, Toofer and Frank realize that they do not seriously care about the feud they are having, they just don't want to back down for fear of looking like idiots in front of the staff. James Carville overhears this and offers advice, telling them to change the dialogue, Swift Boat- He tells them to go after Josh's haircut to shift the heat away from them.

Jenna agrees to stop her semi-strike and go back to work after being called out by Liz. Right when the writers are about to turn on Toofer and Frank for giving up on their pseudo fight, they point out Josh's "frohawk" and all the attention is suddenly taken off of them.

C.C. joins Jack in the executive dining room for lunch so that he can admit his love for her to all of the fellow GE executives. His confession starts a chain effect of confessions from the conservative executives in the room, including having children attending public schools and even being black. C.C. also admits that she voted for Ronald Reagan in 1984, and the room breaks out into applause. The plan to go public was successful.
