This was easily a perfect example of an episode jumping the shark in every possible way. So, what did happen. One, we saw Tracy acting like a normal human being. For heavens sake, that dude is coked up all the time even in real life. Since when did Tina Fey resort to slapstick humor. Honestly, I didn't find the whole water can thing or strip club part even remotely funny. And that's not all, Jenna becomes buddies with an ape, and the last scene- gross!. Jack was totally disconnected from the main plot. I can't even recall what he did this episode. Except for the fact that we get to see Steve Buscemi making a cameo along with him - how cool was that?

Disappointing episode from an Emmy hoarding comedy series.moreless

    30 Rock,
    The Natural Order,
    - In this episode, Tracy once again is late for a rehersal of the show, which angers Liz. Tracy arrives and is angry because he does know what time it actually is. Because everybody keeps changing it around him on purpose. Tracy gives Liz a race card and storms off the stage. Replacing himself with a gibbon to prove a point. The gibbon is left alone so Jenna invites to let it live in her dressing room. Tracy and Liz each agree to give up preferential treatment they receive at work. With Liz havivng much trouble at point water on the tap thing. In the end the both agree to make things go back to the way it was in the start after Tracy had to go through skits and Liz going to a club. - Jack's mother Colleen visits and he is less then happy to see she brought a friend with her. Jack gets his investgator to look into his history which he uses against the guy. TWIST Colleen already knows, and TWIST again when Jack finds out his father that he thought was really his father wasnt. DUH DUH DOOH. All in all it was a very TWIST type of episode. Overall a little bit of a let down but i still got laughs out of the TWISTs. And Jenna gets attacks by that monkey thingmoreless

This was an odd episode of 30 Rock. For one, we have never seen Jack's father before, so why should we care that he has a new one? This reminded me of That 70's Show where they revealed Hyde's father in Season 1 and then for some random reason in Season 7 brought in a completely new guy claiming he was his real father. I did like the return of Steve Buscemi and a few odd lines here or there, but Jenna randomly playing with a monkey, the fart scenes, the awkward moment with the water....there were just way too many things that did not belong on a primetime TV show here.moreless
