  • Jack discovers a dreadful secret about Elisa

Its good to see 30 Rock picking up on some good stuff toward the end this season. We had an unusual mix of crazy, boring, and racist storylines. Barring the few scenes involving Jenna, this episode was right about perfect.

Liz screaming out Puerto Rican every time she sees Elisa was a bit racist, nevertheless funny. I loved the usual crazy stuff like Tracy's diamond studded jacket saying hot b***h, the gay lion tangier, and the blue cloak. They also had the usual fun stuff making Liz look like Jack's bro, and not to forget the rib tickling opener. I agree the messing around with Lutz concept has been a lot overused, and the writers should focus more on Pete or Frank.

    Good episode.

    30 Rock,

The Ones, - In this episode Jack and Liz go out to buys Jack's ring for Elisa who he is now going to marry. Elisa shows up and tells Liz she cant marry Jack and wants her to tell Jack she cant. Telling Liz it's because of a dangerous secret. Which Liz thinks she is the girl who gave Jacko his children. Elisa comes back however and goes to Jack to say they cant get married just as Liz was going to tell him the show is off. However Liz blabs about the secret after a maid sees a picture of her. Elisa tells Jack her secret it that she killed her husband because he cheated. They plan to get married anyway. Yet Jack worries if he might cheat during the marriage. So Tracy him to a club were he might get taken off. Tracy's wife at this point wants him to get a tattoo of her on his chest. He wont because it will have problems with his women. Tracy tells Jack he has never cheated on Angie. Jack then knows he will never cheat on Elisa and he is okay to get married. In the end they dont get married. - At this point Lutz is hurt and the EMT come to help him although everyone only care about a tv that could have been broken. Jenna talks with a EMT that she likes, but she has to go talk to her lawyer before she can get his name or number. Although the guy gives Lutz his number to give to Jenna but he eats it instead. Jenna then talks to Pete who says to her, they can come back if some one gets hurt. So she starts to poison kenneth a number of times just so the guy can come back. In the end he does and they go on a date but she dumps him because his has a son. Overall i liked this episode but it sorta reminded me of a past episode from this season, in which Tracy freaks out the city because stocks go down.

30 Rock has always been a laugh a minute show, and that is why many, myself included, hold it in the same strater as Seinfeld, Arrested Development and programs of that nature. But such was not the case here tonight as I found my laughs being more split out, and the number of clever pop-culture references in shortage. When I did chuckle, however, it was genuine because there were quite a few good quotes in this episode, especially Jack's two lines about how nobody would dispute Liz Lemon lacking knowledge of the male.

I think that is what hurt my appreciation because honestly this was a well-crafted story, with good sub-plots and Pete showing the world that he is not dead. I just do not know why they keep shoving Lutz down our throats. Even if it just to mock him, cut his scenes and give more time to Kenneth or Frank or someone who deserves it.
