Now that Sally's moved out and won't clean for them anymore, the male Solomons decide that it's time to get a maid. They hire Mary's cleaning woman, Cathy, an inscrutable woman who makes their place sparkle. Overwhelmed by the results, the Solomons begin thinking of Cathy less as help and more as a treasured family member -- despite the fact that Cathy gives them no encouragement to do so. Meanwhile, Sally, jealous of the guys' affection for Cathy, decides that she'll turn the tables -- if Cathy can "steal" Sally's family, Sally can steal Cathy's. Finally, Cathy, tired of the Solomons' intrusion into her private life, quits. Also, Tommy joins the staff of the school paper and is made editor, displaying a penchant for unearthing scandals both real and imagined. Busy with his new duties, Tommy assigns ex-girlfriend August to review Alissa in "My Fair Lady." August's review is unflattering but honest, and Tommy, true to his journalistic ideals, decides to run it. When confronted by a tearful Alissa, however, Tommy buckles, shifting blame to his "biased" ex-girlfriend's desire to destroy his happiness.moreless

      • When Nina drops the box of dishes on the floor you can see that the box drops straight down and all of the dishes are still in the box. The camera then goes to Mary walking in and then the shot goes quickly back to Dick. The box is now tipped over and the dishes are thrown all over the floor.

      • Sally: I am so psyched Cathy's gone. You know, it drove me NUTS thinking that someone could take my place here! Tommy: It drove August nuts to see Alissa took her place; she took out a full-page ad showing my head on the body of a jackass (opens newspaper to show) Sally: What does that MEAN?!? Tommy: Well it's obvious; she still loves me.

      • Dick: You know, maybe we're better off without Cathy Sally: Here, here! Harry: The place smells like us again. Tommy: Yeah...sauerkraut, old fruit, and wet dog. Harry: Stop, you're making me hungry!

      • (The Solomon men have 'stolen' Mary's housekeeper; she has come to confront Dick) Mary: You can't keep me away from her forever, Dick. I stole her away from Judith... and I'll steal her from you! (exits down staircase) Dick: Mary, don't get any crazy ideas! DO YOU HEAR ME?!?! Harry, get out here! Harry: What? Dick: Mary's up to something, we have to go to Cathy's house and intercept her. Harry: Nooooooo! This can't be happening! She means the world to us! I've never felt so close to anyone in my entire life. Dick: Me neither, Harry; where does Cathy live? (grabs phonebook) Harry: I don't know Dick: Well, what's her last name? Harry: Beats me. Dick: Well, how does she spell 'Cathy'? Harry: 'Cathy'? I thought it was 'Cassie'. Dick: Let's just follow Mary! Harry: LET'S GO!
