Dick: A terrible injustice has been done. Professor Suter: What? Dick: (raising his voice) I said a great injustice has been done! Professor Suter: (annoyed) I heard you. What's the big injustice? Dick: Someone has taken something that rightfully belongs to you. Professor Suter: What? Dick: (raising his voice) I said someone has taken something that rightfully belongs to you!
Judith: Believe me, you will like me. Most people do.
Dick: I can't wait to show these to Dr. Albright and Nina. You know over time I've come to think of them less as my co-workers and more like a family. I'm the all-knowing father, Mary's the wife and Nina is our adopted love-child.
(Sally, Tommy and Harry are pretending to be doctors) Sally: When's our next shift? Harry: Well, it's hard to say; we're not doctors.
Harry: Looks like a burst appendix. Don't let the saline count fool you, I know this man is a diabetic. Doctor: This is a uterus. Harry: You're suspended!
Sally: I've seen stuff that would make your eyes burst out of your sockets and splatter against the wall... in fact, I've seen that, too.
Dick: Die Hard was in an office building. Die Hard is a 1988 action movie starring Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman. John McClane, a New York City police detective, goes to Los Angeles to reunite with his ex-wife for the Christmas holidays. They meet at her place of work - The Nakatomi Plaza, a large office building. Meanwhile a gang of terrorist led by Hans Gruber invades the building and seizes control of the building's security and communication systems isolating it from the outside.
Dick: (sobbing) I'm sorry I just can't believe what passed for literature in the 70s.
Dick was reading Erich Segal's novel Love Story.
