AIRED:
June 3, 2007 Kevorkian’s Freedom Interview; Vanessa Redgrave; Iranian President Mahmoud

Dr. Jack Kevorkian sits down with Mike Wallace in his first interview since being released from prison for the lethal injection of a terminally ill patient. Kevorkian, now 79, is a staunch advocate of physician assisted suicide, has reported helped 130 people end their lives and still hopes to make it legal.

Mike Wallace also seems to continue a passionate interview that began in 1979 with Vanessa Redgrave in her first interview since that date. A candidate for a Tony Award for her role in “The Year Of Magical Thinking”, Redgrave is no less outspoken than she was 28 years ago. Wrapping up this 60 Minutes trilogy of stories, Mike Wallace re-visits his ground breaking interview with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Let’s not forget we also have Andy Rooney.moreless
