Today's program gave insight into the two men running for President. I know a lot of what we heard has been said before, but it was good to see the two men interviewed by unbiased journalists. It's always good to be able to watch a full interview and get the context of the sound bites that appear on the news.
Mitt Romney's big idea of Freedom appeals to me. By definition, Freedom cannot be defined because it means something different to each one of us. For example, having a car in the garage is very important to me because it represents freedom to me. It's also the freedom to practice my faith as I choose. For others, it will be a thousand different things.
I think the idea is that if you reduce government, you create room for the private sector to innovate and create. I do believe that government's role is not to create jobs, but to foster an environment where innovation and entrepreneurship are free to flourish.moreless
